Polyconvexity is a standard assumption on hyperelastic stored energy densities which, together with some growth conditions, ensures the weak lower semicontinuity of the respective energy functional. The present work first reviews known results about gradient polyconvexity, introduced by Benešová, Kružík and Schlömerkemper in 2017. It is an alternative property to polyconvexity, better-suited e.g. for the modelling of shape-memory alloys. The principal result of this thesis is the extension of an elastic material model with gradient polyconvex energy functional to an elastoplastic body and proving the existence of an energetic solution to an associated rate- independent evolution problem, proceeding from previous work of Mielke, Francfort and Mainik. 1

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na popis Chorvatska z pohledu kandidátského státu Evropské unie. Je zde popsán politický a ekonomický vývoj Chorvatska od rozpadu Jugoslávie do současnosti, dále proces rozšiřování EU z pohledu Unie samotné a hodnocení přístupového procesu Chorvatska, nominální a reálná konvergence Chorvatska k EU (hodnocení plnění Maastrichtských kritérií) a konkurenceschopnost Chorvatska.

Diplomová práce se zabývá možnostmi vlivu jednotné měnové politiky ECB na konveregnci ekonomik eurozóny prostřednictvím změn úrokových sazeb za daného stavu naplnění podmínek teorie optimální měnové oblasti, který tento vliv determinuje. Podrobněji rozebírá historické formování EMU a institucionální rámec rozhodovacího procesu ECB, které zásadním způsobem ovlivňují preference členů Rady guvernérů ECB. Preference ECB jako celku jsou popsány pomocí Barrova-Gordonova modelu, preference jednotlivých členů Rady guvernérů ECB představují žádoucí úrokové sazby počítané pomocí Taylorova pravidla.

Dizertační práce identifikuje a klasifikuje možná rizika měnové konvergence v procesu přistoupení k eurozóně u nových členských zemí Evropské unie, tj. včetně České republiky. Propojením výsledků komplexního rozboru institucionálního rámce Hospodářské a měnové unie a analýzy vývoje inflace a měnového kurzu u stávajících členů eurozóny v konvergenčním období identifikuje možné alternativy měnového přiblížení k euru. Závěry přispívají do diskuse o dilematech hospodářské politiky, které čekají nové členské země EU v dalších fázích integrace do evropských měnových struktur.

Cílem práce je zhodnotit schopnost České republiky nést dlouhodobé náklady související s členstvím v měnové unii. Riziko ztráty vlastní monetární politiky je analyzováno z hlediska kritérií teorie optimálních měnových oblastí. Práce se zabývá také otázkou vývoje inflace po uzavření kurzového konvergenčního kanálu. To vše je doplněno stručným shrnutím vývoje měnové integrace v západní Evropě a přímých i nepřímých přínosů přijetí jednotné měny.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the impact of the European funds on the Economic growth in the Visegrad Four countries. The research focuses on the Structural Funds together with the Cohesion Fund. The thesis also examines the impact of the European funds on the convergence process in the countries of Visegrad Four and the indirect impact of the funding from the Cohesion Funds. The empirical results prove the positive impact of the funds on the economic growth and on the convergence process. The indirect impact is not confirmed.

This thesis is focused on demographic disparities among selected microregions in Zlin region. Thesis has two parts -- theoretical and practical. Theoretical part is literal research which includes definition of microregions and regional disparities, its definition, classification and approach of regional development theories. Practical part is composed of demographic analysis based on Czech statistic office data from 2000 to 2012. First of all demographic indicators are calculated and compared (among microregions as well as among microregions, Czech Republic and Zlin region). Then the main convergence tendencies in population development are indentified by beta and sigma convergence methods. To conclude, future population development is predicted.

Study aims to evaluate the development of the Czech Republic in case of entry into the European Monetary Union. Due to the similarity of the Czech economy with neighboring Slovakia, it is the assessment carried out by means of economic development was the Slovak Republic after joining the European Monetary Union. They are evaluated by selected convergence criteria and the further development of some macroeconomic indicators of the country, which is subsequently compares with the development of the Czech Republic in the same period. The same glasses are compared and selected the Baltic states, which joined the European monetary union last. Subsequently, using deductive methods outlined the economic development of the Czech Republic for entry into the European Monetary Union. The last chapter is devoted to the criterion of exchange rate stability, it is pointed out to the strategy states, which have already become members of the European Monetary Union, and passed without major cost exchange-rate mechanism EMR II. In this chapter, the simulated process Czech Republic's entry into ERM II and learned from him the results.
