Labantová, Zuzana January 2011 (has links)
Bibliografický záznam LABANTOVÁ, Zuzana. Mediální konvergence v prostředí internetu. Praha, 2011. 126 s. Diplomová práce (Mgr.) Univerzita Karlova, Fakulta sociálních věd, Institut komunikačních studií a žurnalistiky. Katedra mediálních studií. Vedoucí diplomové práce Mgr. Jaroslav Švelch Abstract Media convergence - continuous merging of media determined by new technologies development - is one of the most significant phenomenons nowadays. The theoretical portion of this thesis describes technological, economical and content aspects of convergence. It is emphasizing Henry Jenkins's definition, which characterizes convergence as change in audience behavior, their active media content consumption. This contrast between passive audience of old traditional media and active audience of convergence media is a premise of following empirical portion of the thesis. It aims to assign socio- demographic characteristics to these contradictory descriptions. Audience of MF DNES, Rádio Impuls and TV Nova are elected as representatives of traditional audience and their profile is compared with iDnes.cz, Impuls.cz and nova.cz users characteristics. Methodologically, the thesis uses a quantitative analyze of dates gained from continuous big media researches realized in the Czech Republic. The thesis focuses also on these...

Zoonózy v Peru

Gajdová, Klára January 2019 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with infectious diseases transmitted from animals to humans. These diseases have a significant impact on public health and the economy around the world, especially in less developed countries. The theoretical part defines the infectious and epidemic process of the disease, including the source of the causative agent and factors that influence the incidence and spread of diseases. The practical part analyzes the situation of the occurrence of endemic diseases occurring in Peru and compares them with the situation in neighboring states using the beta and sigma convergence methods. The results are presented by a correlation diagram. In conclusion, the situation of selected diseases is evaluated and suggestions are made to improve the epidemiological situation and recommendations to those traveling to this country, both for work and study, as well as for tourism.

Sbližování cenových hladin mezi členskými zeměmi eurozóny v období let 1995 - 2016

Hrňová, Hana January 2018 (has links)
The thesis deals with price convergence in eurozone states. First part offers litera-ture review of this issue. The second part of this diploma thesis focuses on the impact of eurozone membership on price level convergence between the time period 1995 to 2016. It uses difference in differences approach to capture the impact by comparing with states that are not members. The analysis is performed on several product groups. Third part of the theses describes the influence of eurozone crisis on the convergence. For this it uses time series data analysis to find a break in trend of convergence which would correspond with the crisis. Last part contains summary and discussion of results. These results are compared with result of similar studies.

Profilace evropského hospodářského cyklu

Pánková, Markéta January 2018 (has links)
This diploma thesis examines the synchronisation of business cycles of European economics in relation to the Eurozone, United States of America and Japan from the second half of the 1990s to the present. The evolution of the business cycle synchronisation, which is approximated by gross domestic product and industrial production, is measured based on the correlation analysis among these economies. Results of this analysis are used to deduce, whether "European business cycle" is profiling and differ from the world cycle. Obtained results are also supported by the use of the concordance index, which is among the alternative methods of measuring cycle similarity.

Konvergence sektoru finančních institucí v zemích Evropské unie

Slavíček, Michal January 2020 (has links)
Slavíček, M. Convergence of the sector financial corporations in the European Union countries. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2020. The diploma thesis deals with the possible convergence between the years 2004–2018 within the sector account of a financial corporations (defined by the ESA 2010 methodology) across the countries of the European Union, with an emphasis on Central European countries. The stated goal of the work was fulfilled by selecting suitable indicators that were used for the creation of cluster analysis and for calculating the standard deviations in the indicators. More specifically, these are indicators dealing with financial transactions (F.1–F.8), credit market concentration, number of credit institutions, number of employees in credit institutions and premiums written. However, the empirical results of the work did not prove or refute financial convergence across EU countries, as the clusters have changed over the years and even the development in standard deviations did not indicate demonstrable convergence.

How to support the convergence of socioeconomic indicators in Indonesian provinces?

Ježková, Veronika January 2017 (has links)
The thesis looks for the answer to the question how to support the convergence in of Socioeconomic Indicators in Provinces of Indonesia. Together with literature review, the analytical part concerns the regional disparities and convergence of socioeconomic indicators in given period from 2010 to 2015. The analytical contains the analysis of betaconvergence calculated by regression line and the analysis of sigmaconvergence computed on the base of standard deviation change throughout the years. All this implies in proposal part where the suggestion to continuous convergence are specified: sustainable development, human development, capital mobility, labour force mobility.

Připravenost zemí střední a východní Evropy na vstup do eurozóny

Bujáček, Jakub January 2017 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with evaluation of current progress in nominal and structural convergence, and the alignment of the business cycle between CEE countries and Eurozone. Maastricht criteria, indexes of similarities in sectoral structures and theory of optimum currency areas are used for this purpose. There are also used alternative techniques for measuring alignment of the business cycle, which is beneficial to the width of the conclusions that this work produces. Selected techniques indicate process of convergence between CEE countries and Eurozone, but also indicate persisting differences between western and eastern part of EU, which in the case of sharing the common currency leads to the risk of asymmetric shock.

Konvergence nových členských zemí EU / Convergence of new member states of the EU

Nevoralová, Lenka January 2010 (has links)
This thesis concentrates on the new member states of the European Union and their convergent processes. It is particularly focused on five Central European countries -- the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia, which became the members of the European Union on 1st May 2004. The first chapter deals with the countries during their preparation process for the membership in the EU, the meeting the Copenhagen Criteria and their economic development. The second chapter is focused on the development of Central European countries in the EU. There is featured the development in the first years of their membership and during the economic crisis and the recovery. The third chapter concentrates on the processes of the real and nominal convergence in the Central Europe. Besides monitoring various stages of convergence over time there is documented the course of the convergence by the calculation of beta convergence in the European Union. At the end of the thesis there is outlined the relationship between the degree of nominal and real convergence in the concerned countries.

Economic convergence in the EU based on the Augmented Solow model / Ekonomická konvergence v EU založená na doplněnem Solowovem modelu

Ryban, Ivan January 2011 (has links)
The topic of convergence in real GDP per capita has become a very sensitive issue, its results often depending on how the sample group, time period, estimation approach and theoretical concept are chosen. This dissertation presents a study and a convenient explanation of the Mankiw, Romer and Weil's (1992) augmentation of the Solow's (1956) neoclassical growth model and its subsequent empirical application to the EU27 over the period 1970-2010. The application is based on the convergence models designed by the Augmented Solow's model and studies convergence speed and patterns among the EU27 countries. The evidence indicates that the pace of convergence within the EU27 is much slower than what the model predicts. Nevertheless, the analysis shows that an increase in human capital has a stronger impact on per capita GDP and, by extension, on convergence than a similar increase in physical capital.
