Navara, Miroslav January 2022 (has links)
Title: The relationships between motor coordination, fundamental movement skills, physical fitness and body composition of primary school children Author: Bc. Miroslav Navara Thesis supervisor: Mgr. Jakub Kokštejn, Ph.D. Objectives: The aim of this work is to determine the degree of relationships between fundamental movement skills, motor coordination, physical composition and physical fitness in children of younger school age. Methods: The tested group consists of pupils 3-5. primary school classes (n = 109). The TGMD-2 test battery was used to determine the level of motor skills, the KTK test battery was used to determine motor coordination, and the Unifittest test battery (6-60) was used to determine the level of physical fitness and body composition. The Shapiro-Wilk test, Kendall's tau (τ), Kruskal-Wallis test, followed by Bonferroni correction, Man-Whitney U test, was used for data analysis. Results: This study found that the group of children with better results from the KTK test was also significantly better in the TGMD-2 and Unifittest tests (6-60) compared to the group with the lowest results from the KTK test (p <0.01). The relationship between the motor quotient of the KTK test and TGMD-2 (τ = 0.46), TGMD-2 and Unifittest (6-60) (τ = 0.54) was found. The strongest relationship was found...

Tichý, Pavel January 2016 (has links)
BIBLIOGRAPHIC IDENTIFICATION Name and surname of the author: Mgr. Pavel Tichý Name of the dissertation: Re-education of children with motor difficulties of primary school age Workplace: FTVS UK, Department of Sport Games Supervisor of the work: Doc. PhDr. Vladimír Süss, Ph.D. Year of presentation: 2016 ABSTRACT Objective: The aim was to find out the possibility of the re-education of motor difficulties in children of primary school age and create a re-education intervention program, the aim of which is to reduce these difficulties. Subsequently, to verify whether the intervention program had an effect on the motor difficulties of the children. Method: The research was designed as a prospective intervention study where there were two combined orientations ofeducational research: quantative and qualitative. To solve the problem a research design was used, called Crossover Design (Wilmore et al., 2008, Thomas et al., 2005), which was conceived as an experiment with an intervention re-education program aimed at improving the motor difficulties of children. The quantative part of the research was focused on the assessment of motor skills and to detect motor problems in children of primary school age. MABC-2 (Henderson et al., 2007) battery of motor tests were used for this purpose. The qualitative part of the...

Protektivní vliv kognitivního tréninku během adolescence na deficit neuronální koordinace ve farmakologickém modelu schizofrenie. / Protective effect of pro-cognitive training during adolescence on neuronal coordination deficit in a pharmacological model of schizophrenia.

Krajčovič, Branislav January 2017 (has links)
Schizophrenia is a severe neuropsychiatric disorder characterized by positive, negative and cognitive symptoms with poor functional outcomes, placing an enormous burden on the individual, caregivers and society. Although deficits in cognition are an integral part of the disease and the best predictor of functional outcomes, there is as yet no established treatment addressing them. Avoidance of a hidden place on a continuously rotating arena (Carousel) requires cognitive control and is a rodent model of cognitive coordination of information from dissociated spatial frames, which is impaired in acute pharmacological and neurodevelopmental model of schizophrenia. Cognitive training on the Carousel during adolescence alleviates adult cognitive deficit in a neurodevelopmental model of schizophrenia and improves neural coordination (oscilations in the beta and gamma band), which is thought to be necessary for cognition. We examined if cognitive training during adolescence eliminates the deficit in neuronal coordination observed in adult rats after acute systemic NMDA receptor antagonist MK-801 (0.15 mg/kg). During adolescence, rats were either trained in spatial avoidance on Carousel or merely handled. As adults, rats received two 5-min exploration sessions in the same (A/A) or in two distinct...

Posturální funkce a motorické dovednosti dětí s vadným držením těla / Postural fuction and motor control in children with poor posture

Pelánková, Zuzana January 2015 (has links)
This diploma thesis focuses on two conditions that typically occure in childhood - poor posture and developmental coordination disorder. The theoretical part summarizes recent information on these diseases focusing on their etiology, prevalence, prognosis, methods of assessment, diagnosis and treatment. The main aim of the practical part was to evaluate the motor control of treated children with poor posture in comparison with children from the general population. The research group (13 children, mean age 9.85 years) and control group (16 children, mean age 9.94 years) were assessed using Movement Assessment Battery for Children 2. We found no significant difference between motor skills of treated children with poor posture and motor skills of children representing the general population. We also analysed whether treated children with poor posture reported less physical activity compared with the general population. By gathering data from questionnaires (completed by parents of tested children), no statistically significant difference was found. The difference was neither detected in test of posture and postural functions, where we investigated how poor posture of treated children can influence the results of the test. Vliv perinatální hypoxie na motorický vývoj laboratorního potkana a možnosti ovlivnění / The influence of perinatal hypoxia on motoric development on laboratory rat and means of therapy

Vachovcová, Sylva January 2014 (has links)
Severe perinatal hypoxia represents a substantial brain injury in human newborns. This Diploma thesis is focused on long-term motor outcome of laboratory rat after moderate perinatal hypoxia. We described some behavioral test for detection motor development and presented the influence of perinatal hypoxia on central nervous system. We also discussed an effect of agonists and antagonists of adenosine A1 receptor in brain. The aim of an experimental part was an evaluation of long-term motor behavior in rats affected by perinatal hypoxia. To cause perinatal hypoxia we put pregnant female rats to a hypoxic (10% O2) normobaric room in 11th day of their gestation. The pregnant female rats stayed in hypoxic room until they gave a birth and 6 more days after birth with their litters. For classification of motor development we used battery of tests of motor coordination. These tests correspond to the level of development of the rat. Then a group of rats with perinatal hypoxia was treated by a single administration of an agonist of adenosine A1 receptor 2-chloro-N(6)- cyclopentyladenosin (CCPA) in postnatal day 14. The animals affected by perinatal hypoxia show motor deficits in 3 from 4 selected behavioral tests. Otherwise, this motor behavior was no longer detected in young adults. The rats affected by...

Roubková, Leona January 2014 (has links)
Title: The Assessment of the Impact of the Sports Aerobics on the Postural Stabilization of the girls aged 8 to 10 years Definition of the problem: This thesis deals with testing of the postural stabilization and also deals with detection of the occurrence of hypermobility in two groups of girls aged 8-10 years. The first group consist of girls that do sports aerobics and second group consist of girls that do not do any sport. Objectives: In the theoretical part I will devote a summary of findings on the development of postural security, with motor development and motor learning and also very briefly the hypermobility. The aim is to verify if the sports aerobics has a formative influence on postural stabilization of girls at a school age. I examine if the high training load at this early age leads to changes in postural motor skills in terms of its positive or negative influence. Furthermore, the research confirms the higher incidence of hypermobility among athletes. Methods: Selection of the research group on a voluntary basis and according to predetermined criteria. Practical testing of children assembled using two test batteries. Statistical data processing (Student's t-test, Spearman's correlation coefficient). Comparing the results between the two groups of girls. Results: Two test sets...

Evropská koordinace sociálního zabezpečení: pravidla určování aplikovatelné legislativy / European coordination of social security: rules for determination the applicable legislation

Kněžická, Šárka January 2013 (has links)
The aim of this master thesis is to analyse practical impacts of special rules for determination of applicable legislation in accordance with the Regulation No. 883/2004 and its implementing Regulation No. 987/2009. Further the thesis seeks to identify potential negative effects connected to application of the single insurance principle as well as deficiencies arising out of practical performance of European coordination and to discuss the eventual solutions to undesirable effects caused by weak sides of coordination regulations. The thesis is divided into four chapters: an introduction is followed by a chapter about general principles of European coordination of social security systems and about current developments in this field. The topic of a second part is an institute of posting according to Art. 12 of the Regulation No. 883/2004, a distinction here is made between employees and self-employed persons. This chapter further contains procedural rules and an overview of issued portable documents A1 (E 101 forms) during the years 2009 - 2011. Third chapter deals with pursuit of activities in two or more Member States in accordance to Art. 13 of the Regulation No. 883/2004. Special attention is paid to a fine line between posting and pursuit of activities. A problem with retroactive determination of applicable legislation is discussed in the last subchapter of the thesis. This problem is being recently solved by Czech institutions and employers. They are trying to find a solution preventing negative consequences of such a retroactive determination. Exception governed in Art. 16 of the Regulation No. 883/2004 is a subject of the fourth chapter. Situations where an exception is a possible and suitable solution are presented here as well as statistics about requests for exemption from Czech resp. foreign laws.

Komparace bilaterálních smluv o sociálním zabezpečení / Comparison of bilateral agreements on social security

Bohuslavová, Eliška January 2013 (has links)
Coordination of social security by bilateral agreements on social security is a specific area of international law that is essential to pay attention to. Czech Republic has up to now signed 16 bilateral agreements that are valid in their entirety. This thesis focuses on these 16 bilateral agreements and compares them with Regulation (EC) 883/2004 which became valid as the Czech Republic became member of European Union and which replaced bilateral agreements that were concluded with member states of European Union. The aim of this thesis is to perform a detailed analysis and to answer on following questions that are directly related to this issue. Firstly the thesis focuses on personal scale and answers a question of who is covered by bilateral agreements. Secondly the thesis focuses on material scale and answers a question of what subsystems are covered by agreements and compares them with the principles applied by Regulation (EC) 883/2004. Finally the thesis deals with a question of a future possible approach to coordination of social security in a global scale. It can be concluded that bilateral agreements concluded by the Czech Republic are each unique legal instruments. Therefore it is essential to study each agreement separately and not to make conclusions based on general knowledge of the issue.
