Existence alternativních strategií a vliv habituace při řešení úlohy aktivního se vyhýbání místu / Existence of alternative strategies and effect of habituation in the solution of the Place Avoidance Task

Okruhlicová, Šárka January 2014 (has links)
Active allothetic avoidance task (AAPA) could be a useful tool to study cognitive deficit of schizofrenia. In this task two different reference frames are created. The subject should distinguish which oriental frame is relevant for navigation and is proper for the solution of the task. This ability is called cognitive coordination. It is proved that the process of cognitive coordination is impaired in schizophrenic individuals, which comes to light in a Stroop test. Schizophrenia-like behavior can be modelled on the rats by a non-competitive NMDA receptor antagonist dizocipline (MK-801). The aim of these thesis was to study the existence of alternative strategies and the influence of different habituation on the performance of rats within AAPA. Furthermore, we have been studying the influence of MK-801 at a dose of 0.15mg / kg on the cognitive coordination in this task. We have found that the rats are able to learn AAPA task after pre-training without distal orientation cues, using relatively efficient alternative strategies. In these alternative strategies the idiothetic navigation is applied. The performance of rats in AAPA task is influenced by different conditions during habituation. We have proved that MK-801 at this dosage has no effect on cognitive performance of the rats in AAPA task, but...

Komparativní kineziologická analýza záběru při veslování na skifu a při jízdě na trenažeru Concept 2 D PM3. / Comparative - kinsiological analysis of the rowing stroke on a single scull and on a rowing machine Concept 2

Zbořilová, Martina January 2017 (has links)
Title: Kinesiological analysis of the rowing stroke on a single scull and on a rowing ergometer Concept 2 comparison Purposes: The purpose of the present study was to determine a specific structure in timing of selected muscles during two movement patterns - rowing on a single scull and rowing on an ergometer Concept 2. Methods: By surface electromyography we recorded muscular activity, synergies and involvement throughout mean cycle of the rowing stroke. Results: The mutual correlations of mean EMG curves of all measured muscles showed, that there were not found any differences in inter-locomotive synchronization of selected muscles. Established values of correlation (r) showed higher level of dynamic balance (performance similarity between both measured activities. Determination of the muscular activity timing considering onsets and cessations, was in the percentual results explication of the movement cycle inter-locomotive different. Conclusion: Results showed a great similarity in synergies organizing the muscular coordination in between both measured physical activities. But timing of the movement was different in the moments of muscular activity onsets during rowing and during ergometer rowing. This may be attributed to the specificity of on-water locomotion. Key words: Rowing, Concept 2,...

TITLE Influence of the obligatory swimming course on flexibility of children in younger school age at Hostýnská Primary School AUTHOR Kate ina Merrelová DEPARTMENT Department of physical education SUPERVISOR PaedDr. Irena Svobodová ABSTRACT This Master thesis aims at flexibility of children in younger school age. Specifically, to determine the effect of basic swimming course on the joint mobility of younger school age. We will use verified tests for joint mobility for this detection. The testing will take place twice. The first time it will be at the beginning of the swimming course and the second time it will be after two months of ongoing swimming course. The tested group will consist of pupils from the Hostýnská Primary School who have participated in the swimming course. Boys and girls will be represented equally. The theoretical part will focus on the characteristics of younger school age, the characteristics of motor skills, especially on flexibility and swimming and swimming training. The practical part will be devoted to the description of research and analysis of the results of individual tests. Hodnocení vývojové dyspraxie u dětí a adolescentů se zaměřením na lateralitu a u dětí a adolescentů se specifickými vývojovými poruchami školních dovedností / Evaluation of Developmental Dyspraxia in Children and Adolescents in Relation with Handedness, and in Children and Adolescents with Learning Disabilities

Jínová, Anna January 2015 (has links)
10 Annotation This diploma thesis deals with relations between developmental coordination disorder (or developmental dyspraxia) and laterality and handedness. In the theoretical part this work summarizes actual knowledge about the origin and the development of laterality and handedness and describes possibilities how to examine it. It also deals with knowledge about developmental coordination disorder, its characteristic, etiology, prevalence and diagnostic possibilities. The aim of the practical part was to evaluate motor difficulties in children with right and left handedness and to compare differencies. The Movement Assessment Battery for Children 2 was used for that evaluation. Motor skills in 64 children (30 left-handed and 34 right-handed) were evaluated. We haven't found any difference between those groups of children, their results were very balanced. We have also tested the motor skills in children with crossed eye-hand laterality, any significant difference hasn't been found in comparison with standard population. The group of children with learning disabilities has been also evaluated, we have found statisticaly significant difference between their motor skills and motor skills of standard population.

Narušení kognitivní koordinace na rotující aréně systémovým podáním psychotomimetika dizocilpinu (MK-801). / Impaired cognitive coordination on a rotating arena after systemic dizocilpine (MK-801).

Buchtová, Helena January 2014 (has links)
Disruption of cognitive abilities such as learning, memory and spatial navigation accompanies a number of neuropsychiatric disorders including schizophrenia. Cognitive symptoms are also most difficult to target by available pharmacotherapy.. Behavioral and molecular evidence point to a disruption of NMDA receptors and glutamatergic and dopaminergic neurotransmission. Impaired cognitive coordination has been proposed as a core cognitive deficit in schizophrenia. Non- competitive NMDAR antagonists are used to model schizophrenia- related symptoms in humans and in experimental animals. Place avoidance on a rotating arena is used to model cognitive functions disrupted in an animal model of schizophrenia. The goal of this thesis is to show whether the deficit in place avoidance is due to disrupted cognitive coordination or another effect of NMDAR antagonism such as hyperlocomotion, general learning deficit, or altered sensitivity.

Hodnocení vývojové dyspraxie u dětí s vývojovou dysfázií / Evaluation od Developmetnal Dyspraxia in Children with Developmental Dysphasia

Morávková, Markéta January 2016 (has links)
Diplomová práce Hodnocení vývojové dyspraxie u dětí s vývojovou dysfázií Abstract This thesis focuses on possible incidence of developmental dyspraxia among children with developmental dysphasia. Theoretical part of the study summarizes information about developmental dyspraxia (sometimes also known as developmental coordination disorder). It also describes developmental dysphasia which is predominantly studied in logopaedics and it is less known in physiotherapy. The link between these disorders is the topic of the last chapter of the theoretical part. The aim of the practical part is to evaluate motor skills of children with developmental dysphasia with usage of diagnostic battery Movement Assessment Battery for Children 2. Both foreign and newly published Czech population norms have been used for analysis of the results. In the research, 89 children with average age of 69 months have been examined. The first group included 41 children with developmental dysphasia. For this first group, the control group of 48 children was also set up. The research proved statistically significant difference between motor skills of children with developmental dysphasia in comparison to the control group. This difference has been proven by both Czech and foreign norms. On the other hand difference between motor skills of...

Možnosti diagnostiky a terapie u dětí s vývojovou dyspraxií / vývojovou poruchou koordinace / The possibilites of diagnostics and treatment of children with developmental dyspraxia / developmental coordination disorder

Smékalová, Barbora January 2012 (has links)
Diploma thesis "The possibilites of diagnostics and treatment of children with developmental dyspraxia / developmental coordination disorder" deals in it's theoretical part with the explanation of the terms "developmental dyspraxia" and "developmental coordination disorder" and summarizes the newest findings about the classification of children's motional disorders and possibilities of their treatment. In it's practical part, the thesis deals with certain possibilities of the DCD diagnostics. It uses Movement Assessment Battery for Children 2, which is instrumental to identify children movement difficulties. It is also engaged in praxis clinical examination of the chosen children and uses the DSDQ ‚07 questionary. The thesis proves the existence of movement difficulties on certain children with ADHD, learning disabilities or autism spectrum disorder, as well as it proves the significant difference between standard scores of single components on children with learning disabilities. There has been discovered a worse quality of certain practical functions on chosen children and the result matches DCD in DCDQ ‚07.
