This Master´s thesis deals with a thermal calculation and dimensional design of steam boiler for natural gas combustion with respect to the high efficiency of the boiler. It includes stoichiometric calculation and calculation of technical specifications of the boiler. Dimensions of combustion chamber are proposed. The crucial part of this thesis includes thermal calculation of designed heat-exchanging surfaces. The heat balance of the whole boiler is made to verify the results.

In the second part is the concept of the heating system elaborated in three variants of the design in the scope of the study for the new family house. The third part is devoted to use of shell blocks of the BETONG with internal contact insulation compared to other masonry systems.

The heat source is gasifying firewood boiler or pellet boiler which is at the same time used for water heating but only in the winter time. The other parts of the year the solar collectors are installed and used for water heating. The heat source is located in detached room with its own access, in boiler room.

The fourth part describes designs of individual heating surfaces, including steam superheaters, vaporizers and economizer. Next section shows the real temperature diagram and choice of the materials. The seventh section describes the calculation of outer pipelines and the eighth part deals with the drums design. The last section deals with the calculation of draft loss of steam generator.

This master's thesis deals with thermal calculation and design of proportions of calorific components of a heat recovery steam generator (HRSG), which is placed behind a combustion turbine, for given parameters of exhaust gases and requested parameters of steam. In the first chapters is described the design, layout of HRSG and the thermal calculation. The next parts deal with the design of flue-gas duct and each individual heating surface. Next section shows computations of dimensions of drums, flooding pipes, transferring pipes and all other outer pipes. The chosen materials are described in one of the last chapters and the last chapter deals with calculation of draft loss of steam generator.

The goal of this thesis is to process three variants of energy performance certificate of the building with different heat sources. The building is in mountain area Bílá in Frýdek-Místek region. The thesis has three parts. First part is focused on literary research of heat pumps. Second, calculation part, describes three proposed heat source solution. First heat source is heat pump, second is pellet boiler and the last one is gas condensing boiler. All three variants are evaluated from the economic and ecological perspective. Last part of the thesis contains three energy performance certificates of the examined building.

This mastes´s thesis deals with higher usage of boiler K5 in CHP plant ŽĎAS, a.s. in temporary season, when due to reduced consumption is overheating hot water return branch and there is need to change to another boiler. Main goal of thesis is reduce changes betwen boiler K5 and boiler K3 and increase usage of boiler K5 in temporary season by ekonomic profitablbe technical solution. At the beginning of thesis is described CHP plant ŽĎAS, a.s. and its equipment. Next are four methods of calculation increase year´s usage of boiler K5. And these are cooling hot water return branch using heat exchanger, condensation of part steam from back pressure, reduce minimal power of boiler K5 and usage with small condensing turbine. Thesis is finished with comparison of mentioned methods and experimental reduce of minimal power boiler K5.

This diploma thesis deals with proposal of a two-lane vertical boiler using the waste heat after gas turbine. In the first part the heat calculation has been done followed by the arrangement of particular heat exchange surfaces and the drawing of real saw diagram. There are also dimensions of drums, inlet and outlet pipes and transfer pipelines drafted. Furthermore, I have listed the materials that are used for casing the boiler and pipelines. Finally, the boiler loss is calculated and the boiler hydraulic calculation is performed. The supplement contains a boiler drawing.

The diploma thesis deals with design of gas steam boiler with given parameters of steam. Blast furnace and coke oven gas are used as fuel. At the beginning of this work, both co-fired fuels are presented to us, their chemical analysis and stoichiometry are performed. The main part of the diploma thesis deals with the dimensioning of individual heat exchange surfaces such as steam superheaters, evaporators, economizers and air heaters. All heat exchange surfaces meet recommended parameters such as recommended steam rates, flue gas, etc. At the end, the total heat balance of the boiler is performed. Part of the work is also drawing documentation showing the main dimensions of the boiler. It is also indicated the connection of individual heat exchange surfaces.
