Soundscape, Lom Hády / Soundscape, Lom Hády

Kolcunová, Pavlína January 2012 (has links)
The concept of the thesis is based on the phenomenon of Soundscape. This term was defined during the late 1960s at the occasion of The World Soundscape Project. The image of the acoustic comfort was redefined - from the level of noise pollution to the question of the sonic environment. The contribution of the project lies in the rehabilitation of the importance of sound as a cultural and social phenomenon, which shapes the identity of the place. Since the area of sound research is very large, the theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the description of the auditory perception from the psychological and physical aspects. It's a description of objective and subjective "events", that on the one hand, it appears as a set of physical quantities, on the other side as auditory scene, which provokes the questions how are the different sounds connected, which meanings are associated by the perceived sound, etc. Sources of inspiration, drawing from nonarchitectonic overlaps ( such as poetic acoustic locators or sound installations ) are another starting point for exploring the properties of sounds. The work on a specific issue was preceded by the searching of the accurate place, that is essentially acontextual to the surrounding environment. Landscape character of the quarry Hady reminds a desert, it has a few specified sites, it‘s monotonous land with varying degrees of openness and closeness. The environment of the quarry generates diverse "soundcapes" and also reflects the sound milieu of the surrounding landscape, which becomes the object of manipulation. situation Quarry Hady is one of the dominant landmarks of Brno - scarred face of the hilll and broadcasting tower are visible from miles around, and after mining mechanisms quit, the quarry is turning back to nature. There is a natural reservation Velka Klajdovka and Kavky in close proximity - thanks to the fact grows up to thirty kinds of endangered plants in the lower part of quarry called Růženin lom. The location is easily accessible on foot or by bike ( hiking trail Velká Klajdovka - Šumbera goes through the quarry) or with public transportation within walking distance of 800m. The parking lot with 25 spaces is situated near to turn-off Kanice towards quarry area.

Valašská identita v objektech drobné architektury / Walachia´s Identity in Objects of Small Architecture

Rypl Žabčíková, Ada January 2013 (has links)
The master thesis is a story about (lost of) memories of a place and seeking the identity of Valachia via objects of small architecture. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with issues of landscape as a totality - it studies the region in the georaphical, antropological and cultural context on the background of fundamental historical events. The design part of the thesis outlines the "landscape plan" and defines the landscape elements through an analysis and interpretation of signs of individual landscape formations.

Environmentální prvky v rámci medializace kulturního dědictví ČR a její prezentace / Environmental aspects in the context of the media coverage of the Czech Repuvlic's cultural herigage and its presentation

Baranova, Alexandra January 2021 (has links)
This thesis deals with the representation of the natural environment in branding the Czech Republic on the domestic and global market. The aim was to find out how the visual and textual content of CzechTourism information and promotional materials contributes to this and how the representation of nature characterizes the Czech Republic as a cultural tourism destination. The evaluation was based on qualitative analysis. Textual content was analysed using the grounded theory method, selected photographs were subjected to semiotic analysis. The result shows that the Czech Republic is presented through CzechTourism brochures as a country that is a harmonious combination of natural treasures and historical monuments. The Czech Republic seems to be a tourist destination, after a visit to which a change of personality occurs: not only does one's physical and emotional state improve, but also one reflects on a number of issues such as the perception of spiritual values, awareness of oneself as a Czech citizen (for local residents), gaining new knowledge about the history of the Czech state (for foreign tourists). This work can serve as a basis for further research, e.g. building a country's brand through CzechTourism's social media presence. It would also be interesting to find out whether the content of...

I za plotem je náš svět. Případová studie Okrašlovacího spolku v Jílovém u Prahy / Our world exists behind the fence too. A Case Study of the Association for Embellishment in Jílové u Prahy

Riegerová, Dina January 2012 (has links)
The graduation thesis is focused on the phenomenon of Embellishment and by using a case study particulary researches the Association for Embellishment in Jílové u Prahy. The subject of my study is related character of former and present Association. Using a semi-structured interview process, I have attempted to find out how important local cultural tradition is for civic members and how far it is only a formal pattern for resumption of association's activities after 1989. I also tried to determine how the present Association deals with a current environmental issues and how it is used in practice.

Typologie zvukových krajin / Typology of soundscapes

Hofman, Milan January 2021 (has links)
More and more attention of scientists and artists is paid to the effect of sound to human and ecosystems. Due to technology development and growing urgency of human impact new approaches are being formed. This thesis is based on concepts of acoustics ecology by R. M. Schafer. In addition to noise mapping, Czech geographical research does not reflect the growing urgency of sound environment issues. In this thesis I present terminology, concepts and some methods which are used in acoustic ecology or soundscape ecology. A literature search shows the application of these terminology, concepts and methods in a geographical research, specifically in urban and landscape planning, geography of tourism, leisure, health geography or landscape ecology. In an empirical part I followed a pioneering idea of acoustic landscape typology. I used qualitative research, listening walk and narrative conversation, to obtain data about soundscapes. Through these data I critically evaluated and compared acoustic typology of landscape by Hendrych and Hynek (2008). I used recording of soundscapes and spectrograms as secondary methods. Recordings and spectrograms are availabled in ArcGIS Online application. I found out the typology according to Hendrych and Hynek appropriately describes soundscapes from the perspective of...

Територијалне претензије социјалистичке Југославије (1943-1955): пројекти, захтеви, импликације и решења / Teritorijalne pretenzije socijalističke Jugoslavije (1943-1955): projekti, zahtevi, implikacije i rešenja / Territorial pretensions of socialist Yugoslavia(1943-1945): projects, demands, implications, and decisions

Posle kapitulacije Italije organi vlasti
NOP-a na području Istre i Slovenačkog
primorja donose odluke o prisajedinjenju tih
područja Hrvatskoj, odnosno Sloveniji. Njihove
odluke 30. novembra sankcionisane su na
Drugom zasedanju Avnoja u Jajcu. Tim aktima
socijalistička Jugoslavija započinje borbu za
definisanje severozapadnih granica države.
Temelj za revandikacije postavljen je četvrt
veka ranija tokom stvaranja zajednice Južnih
Slovena u mirovnom procesu posle Prvog
svetskog rata. Kako sa aspekta Jugoslavije to
pitanje nije u tom periodu rešeno na
zadovaljavajući način, definisanje
jugoslovenskih granica posle Drugog svetskog
rata moglo bi se smatrati za nasleđen problem..
Smernice za postavljanje teritorijalnih
zahteva prema severnim susedima definisane su
tokom mirovnog procesa u Versaju, ali i kroz
proglase KPJ u međuratnom periodu o
rešavanju nacionalnog pitanja u Jugoslaviji i
okruženju. Institucionalno NOP, kasnije FNRJ
ovo pitanje definišu kroz delatnost slovenačkog
Znanstvenog instituta, Jadranskog instituta u
Sušaku i kroz rad federalne Komisije za
razgraničenje i njenih republičkih komisija. Na
terenu ovo pitanje pokušava da se reši kroz
nametanje oružanom silom. Posle neuspeha
politike svršenog čina započinje dugotrajna
politička i diplomatska borba koja povremeno
preti oružanom eskalacijom. Diplomatska borba
se vodi u složenim uslovima ideološke
konfrontacije Jugoslavije, prvo sa Zapadom, a
posle 1948. i sa Istokom. Ovaj proces se
okončava tek 1954.(sa Italijom) i 1955. godine
(sa Austrijom) posle više rundi bilateralnih i
multilaterelanih pregovora Jugoslavije, susednih
država i velikih sila. Diplomatska inicijativa
prema Mađarskoj okončana je u toku trajanja
Pariske mirovne konferencije (1946), bez
teritorijalnih izmena.
Moglo bi se reći daje ovaj proces
završen relativnim uspehom Jugoslavije, iako su
glavni zahtevi jugoslovenske strane u pogledu
Italije odbijeni delimično, a u pogledu Austrije
u potpunosti. Finalizacija graničnog pitanja bila
je uvod u zauzimanje specifične pozicije
Jugoslavije na međunarodnoj političkoj sceni,
odnosno u kreiranju Pokreta nesvrstanih
zemalja.
/
After the Italian surrender, local authorities
of Yugoslav National Liberation Movement
made decisions about the incorporation of Istria
and Slovene Littoral into Croatia and Slovenia.
Their decisions were sanctioned on the Second
Session of AVNOJ on November 30, 1943.
These acts marked the beginning of the fight of
socialist Yugoslavia for defining its
northwestern borders. The basis for border
revendication was set a quarter century earlier,
during the creation of the South Slavic union in
the peace process after WWI. Because that issue
was not resolved satisfactorily for Yugoslavia
over that period, the definition of the post-
WWII Yugoslav borders could be regarded as
an inherited problem.
Guidelines for setting up territorial claims
to northern neighboring countries were defined
during the peace process in Versailles, and also
through proclamations of the Communist Party
of Yugoslavia (CPY) in the interwar period
dealing with the solution to the national
question in Yugoslavia and the neighboring
countries. The National Liberation Movement
(NLM), and later the Federal People’s Republic
of Yugoslavia (FPRY), defined this problem
institutionally through the activities of the
slovenian Scientific Institute (Znanstveni inštitut), Adriatic Institute in Sušak (Jadranski

institut), as well as through the work of the
Federal Delimitation Commission and its
commissions in the member republics of the
federation. In the field, Yugoslavia tried to
impose the solution for this problem by force of
arms. After the failure of the fait accompli
policy, a long-term political and diplomatic
struggle began, occasionally threatening to
escalate to an armed conflict. Diplomatic
struggle was conducted in a complex situation
of ideological confrontations of Yugoslavia,
first with the West, and then with the East after
1948. This process ended only in 1954 (with
Italy) and in 1955 (with Austria), after multiple
bilateral and multilateral negotiations between
Yugoslavia, its neighbors and the Great Powers.
Diplomatic initiative towards Hungary was
concluded during the Paris Peace Conference
(1946) without territorial changes.
Although main Yugoslav claims were
rejected partially (to Italy) or totally (to
Austria), it can be concluded that this process
was completed relatively successfully for
Yugoslavia. The finalization of the border
dispute was a prelude to a specific positioning
of Yugoslavia on the global diplomatic scene,
and to the creation of the Non-Allied
Movement.

Definice referenčního stavu horských a podhorských toků jako součást ekomorfologického průzkumu / Definition of reference conditions of mountain and submountain streams as a part of ecological survey

Leipeltová, Petra January 2014 (has links)
The present thesis deals with the definition of reference conditions of mountain and submountains streams in selected European countries and on the requirements of the Water Framework Directive 2000/60/EC. Here is presented the Typology of watercourses of Czech Republic and the delimitation of mountain and submountains types in selected locations in the Ore Mountains and the Bohemian Forest. In the second part of the work is solved hydromorphological status of watercourses. Monitoring was conducted on streams Rolava, Černá voda, Křemelná, Slatinný p., Modravský p., Roklanský p. and Javoří p. To evaluate the degree of hydromorphological quality was used Hydroecological monitoring method. The thesis includes a brief assessment of physical-geographic characteristics mentioned flows with emphasis on the runoff regime in their basins. In conclusion, there are identified and defined reference parts of streams and their characteristics. Keywords: reference conditions, typology of streams, hydromorphological status, hydromorphological quality, hydromorphological monitoring, runoff regime

Krajinna raného středověku a její změny s nástupem kolonizace / Krajinna raného středověku a její změny s nástupem kolonizace

Kozáková, Radka January 2011 (has links)
Landscape transformation that occurred during the Middle Ages in western and central Europe is reflected in all pollen diagrams. An event that was so striking and widespread was used by Firbas to distinguish a biostratigraphical period called the Younger Subatlantic (zone X; Firbas 1949). High Medieval landscape transformation is connected with rapid colonization in our area that resulted in extensive deforestation and intensified agriculture. During the first half of the 13th century, the settlement network was already stabilized and was very similar to the current state and was reaching also mountain areas (Klápště 1994). New organization and changes in land ownership, as well as a need for more effective agriculture, resulted in the connecting of small fields into larger ones and in an increase of cultivated area (Klápště 2006). The use of the land was different, and for the first time complete (Bakels 2009). During a few centuries anthropogenic factors that were enormously enhanced throughout the 13th century, formed a cultural landscape that was much more similar to the landscape of today than to the landscape of, for instance, the 9th century. This doctoral thesis is focused on the Early Medieval landscape in the Czech lands and its transformation that culminated during the 13th and 14th...
