This diploma thesis deals with the matter of landscape planning as a means of optimisation of land use, of protection of the landscape and as a means of sustainable development of the landscape. The practical part of the thesis is focused on the assessment of a particular landscape, the countryside around the town of Strážnice. It presents the area through a set of analyses of its primary, secondary and tertiary landscape structure. Then it goes on to define its characteristics, and natural, cultural and aesthetic values. It monitors the area´s land use over time, its current state as well as its management. Based on selected issues from the model area, the practical part offers suggestions on how to optimise the area´s land use in the form of a study. Information gained from this study is then summed up in the form of general recommendations on how to improve the model area´s landscape management.

The goal of this thesis is a historical analysis of the evolution of land use in the selected territory. As interest location was chosen cadastral territory of Boletice. The first part of the work is devoted to a literature review, which deals with the history of landscapes in our territory and classification systems of land use used in the Czech Republic. The other half of the work consists of a practical part. For the needs of analysis three time periods were selected and subsequently evaluated . These were the maps II. military survey, black and white aerial shot from the 50s of the 20th century, and the current status on the basis of the colour orthophoto. All work with the map documents were carried out in the program ArcMap. The following evaluation in the program Microsoft Excel. The results are graphical and tabular outputs, which are captured by the individual changes in land use in the monitored periods of time.

This thesis explores the phenomenon of the landscape and its changes in relation to poems by Jan Skacel. Closer analysis focuses on two selected collections of his poems, especially the seven poems, to be followed later their artistic interpretations done in two ways. Zdíkov is in the south of Czech Republic, near Vimperk. The drift of this diploma paper is appreciation state of zone Zdíkov and put forward possibilities how stabilize balance between exploitation and protection of landscape and natural source.

The diploma thesis is addressing legal regulation of nature and landscape protection and it is covering mostly sections 4-13 of the Act no. 114/1992 Coll, on protection of nature and landscape. The aim of the thesis is to provide comprehensive overview of the tools of nature and landscape general protection, describe them in detail and point out legislative shortcomings of current regulation. Descriptive and analytical method is being used in the thesis. The thesis is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is devoted to an introduction into issues linked to the protection of nature and landscape, it presents the most important terms and instruments used in the protection of nature and landscape. The second chapter is focusing on the major environmental international agreements of which the Parliament of the Czech Republic has given its consent to ratification and which are legally binding for the Czech Republic. The following chapter describes European legislation related to the protection of nature and landscape. The greatest regard is dedicated to the fourth and fifth chapter. The fourth chapter describes legal regulation of general protection of species. Thus, it deals with the issues of protection of wild fauna and flora, including the protection of birds which is separate in the taxonomy...

This diploma thesis deals with the proposal of reconstuction of the pond Těšík at the level of study. The introductory part of the thesis defines the terminology and the partition of small water reservoirs. The next practical part is focused to the locality of interest and its current state leading to the necessary reconstruction. This part is followed by the design of a technical solution for reconstruction based on hydrotechnical calculations and the graphics part.

Master´s thesis tries to show the aspect of the rest areas in the landscapes in Czech republic and design the resolution, how to deal with this situation. Design of set for unique location shows one of the possibilities how to work with furniture to a rest areas. Main elements of the collection are benches, bike holder and information panels designed just for one area - CHKO Pálava.

I do not create a coherent architectural and urban design, but a comprehensive architectural and urban manual. Individual interventions together may or may not cooperate. The investor may be a city, a private company, enterprise, institution. They can happen suddenly or slowly and gradually over several decades. The main condition for the use of the manual is common sense. Manual force does not enforce his right. The transformation of the building must be carried out within the framework of voluntary and assessed as a good solution. The manual looks at the buildings individually, however, he must continue the one who uses it The manual takes into account the economy, the laws of physics and the freedom of human thought. It neglects the current system of cultural heritage and the current building legislation. The manual offers, but not required. Manual man needs more than one needs manual.
