Krajina pretvorená / Landscape transformed

Kažimír, Oliver January 2017 (has links)
The landscape has been transforming during the time – by people and by itself. A human has adjusted the environment to his needs - material, physical and spiritual. The relation between a man and the landcape varies. A place of previous extractive quarry Bankov contains more layers that were overlapped by anthropogenic operations. The authentic land had its significant spiritual meaning inscribed into a pilgrimage route containing small sacral objects which connected people with the land and the place. An exploitation of the land transformed its values. Extraction caused a loss of previous prints in the landscape - not only a loss of its material matter, but especially its importance for people living in the area. The realtion between a man and the landscape has been lost. The land has gone through a radical transfomation of morfology - a fascinating and dynamic geological diversion that creates specific character of a place has been formed. It is an abandoned mysterious area invoking contradictory feelings of danger and calmness. Perception and experiencing the land is a motive of recovery… ...that refers to a man – an individual human being. The project understands a recovery as a sanitation and transformation of an organism – which a land recovering after exploatation definitely is. Time, space and living conditions are elements determinating natural recovery of the land. Those features has influenced the project which analogically takes an inspiration for a physical and mental recovery of a man. The regeneration is happening by exposing and reinterpretation of the lost values through which a man identifies himself with the place.

Communication in the area is solved by the level of the main pedestrian routes, which are designed as 4 meters wide. Krajina, jazyk, člověk - kulturologická studie / Landscape, language, man - a culturological study

Tisucká, Beáta January 2011 (has links)
Landscape, language, man - a culturological study Abstract The first part of this study views some of the contributions involving landscape theme. One of them analysis water element in landscape as the symbol of the human imagination and unconsciousness. Symbols, meanings and their creating are the most important human ability; this is the typicall quality for the human kind. In opposition to culture and its network of meanings exist nature and wildness that represent primary world without artificial interferences. At the present time this primary world can be nearly experienced in forest, where no loud meanings and hypertrofic symbols disturb us. Thus forests have an important function for reanimating and purification of human culture. An interesting mention of forest aesthetics from foerster H. von Salisch shows how creative and beatiful can the forest managering or landscape managering be. Next part references to space and to relationship between a subject (man) and its space. In generally meaning we can use the term environment. Each man needs to identificate with his living environment and he also needs to understand its meaning. According to Martin Heidegger's phenomenological philosophy we use term habitation. Habitation means existence in human way - each man lives between sky and ground. Ancient...

Vertikály krajiny / Vertical motives of landscape

HORYNOVÁ, Alžběta January 2010 (has links)
This final work is practically oriented. It consists of painting series of eight landscapes with vertical themes. These are large format oil paintings. In the theoretical part I deal with the current perception of the relationship between man and land, which is based on the current concepts of landscape-painting. The examples of contemporary Czech landscape show some topics that have appeared in the last forty years. For example it is a landscape as a specific interface and abstract paintings, a landscape inside us, a landscape of our civilization. The thesis also discusses vertical motif, which marks the space between the two main elements of the landscape ? the sky and land, which is a fundamental area of human existence.

Měkota, Jan January 2011 (has links)
Land Consolidation and its Relation to Environmental Protection- Abstract Land consolidation is term used for rearrangement and readjustment of land parcels and their ownership in order to assure their rational use. In its modern form, it became part of Czech legislature when Czech National Council's Act No. 284/1991 Coll. was officially published. Current legal regulations of land consolidation are provided in Act No. 139/2002 Coll., as amended. This Act enumerates main goals land consolidation, carried out in the public interest, should achieve. Primary task of this dissertation is to review how land consolidation can contribute to the environmental protection. Soil fund upgrading as well as improvment of landscape aesthetics and its ecological stability are stated among main goals of the currently effective land consolidation legal regulations. Tělo a krajina / The body and landscape

Vlček, Martin January 2012 (has links)
The Body as a subject and object is the way and possibility how to be in a landscape which does not tell how to touch it, how to move within it, live and die. However, we could find and see which particular behaviour is preferred to others. The landscape is a vertically and horizontally widespread area and a platform for potential range of body activities. Thirdly it is also a material, body, changing in time. We would focus on the moment when the body is trying to fuse into the landscape. So similar, so different, they are. The way how to achieve it for a human body would be a task to live it through, personally, as first shown as Symbiosis, on some examples from visual arts (performance, and site-specific usage of the place potential). In the Second part we would consider understanding the landscape (world) through the narratives with metamorphoses, when both entities are carnal and the same (Synonymical: body as a landscape, landscape as a body). The last Part (Synthesis) concentrates on the arts, rituals, philosophy and other modes of the "life view" in the context of crossing borders and immersion of real and the "different" (in a way virtual) world. Keywords: Body, landscape, arts, mythology, philosophy
