Typizace experimentálních povodí v Jizerských horách / Landscape Classification of Experimental Watersheds in the Jizera Mountains

Buková, Eva January 2017 (has links)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to present the landscape classification of the Czech hydrometeorological institute's experimental Watersheds in the Jizera Mountains. The classification was developed on the Watersheds of selected physical- geographic characteristics that can influence its rainfall-runoff process. The selected factors were geologic standards, soil cover and characteristics of the relief - inclination, exposition and vegetation types. The landscape cover represents one of the most significant factors that form the surface runoff. The method of cluster analysis, more specifically the method of K-means clustering, was used for the landscape classification. The typology was developed for the abiotic characteristics of the watersheds as well as for the landscape cover. Altogether 5 analyses with different numbers of clusters were produced while creating both classifications. Based on the analyses the watersheds with the most similar abiotic characteristics and landscape covers were defined. The annex of the thesis is the evaluation of the landscape development of the target area from the years 1953, 1986 and 2013.

Krajinářská studie vybraného území

Náhlíková, Barbora January 2017 (has links)
The diploma thesis focuses on a landscape study of specifically chosen area near town of Letohrad. A prerequisite of the thesis was to choose an area, which conceals potential traces of designed landscape. The first part of thesis deals with matters of designed landscapes, landscape evaluation (analysis of primary, secondary and tertiary landscape structure) and identification of designed landscape according to Kulištáková (2014). The result of this survey is finding that the chosen area is indeed a part of designed landscape which is only partially preserved. However, no uniting philosophical idea was found to support the whole composition. That might be revealed with further research. The design part of thesis shows possible solutions for particular problems. For better lucidity is the final design divided into several parts. The first part deals with fundamental matters in the area, for example antierosion system, and reacts to newly proposed road route which is being planned in the actual spatial plan. The second part deals with quality changes. The aim is to produce higher ecological, aesthetic and cultural gains from the area. For example renovation of orchard, new usage of abandoned areas and securing views of Sv. Jan Nepomucký Chapel are elaborated. The third part focuses on renovation of earlier identified designed landscape. Preservation or renewal of particular components or other silvicultural measures are proposed. Furthermore an architecture-artistic study of chosen area is proposed. The centre of the area is Sv. Jan Nepomucký Chapel. The study aims at preserving views on chapel as a dominant of landscape and also preserving chapel as a spiritual space with option for calm walks with beautiful views of region. In the last part of thesis the author proposes declaration of the area as historical landscape reservation Kyšpersko. The aim is to ensure options for renovation and consequential care of designed landscape. For this purpose a standard record for historical landscape reservation is elaborated.

Využití přirozené sukcese v rekultivacích =:The Use of Natural Succession in Reclamation /

Botková, Kamila January 2019 (has links)
This dissertation deals with the use of natural succession in reclamation practice in landscape restoration after surface mining of raw materials. In the context of landscape engineering, this is a complex issue which was generally addressed at three levels: ecological, technical and practical. The thesis is conceived as a set of own scientific publications, which are presented in a broader context and their conclusions generalized for the needs of possible use in practice. At the ecological level, the natural or controlled succession is an appropriate means of restoration at most habitats. The practical use is limited mainly by legislation on protection of agricultural land fund and land intended for the fulfilment of forest functions, demands and expectations of owners of land affected by mining, and also by ensuring long-term management of areas resulting from natural succession.
