Oznamování trestných činů a jeho kriminologický význam / Crime Reporting and its Significance in Criminology

This thesis deals with the reporting of criminal offenses both in terms of individual and procedural criminal law, and from the point of view of the importance of this issue in criminology. The thesis is divided into ten chapters. The first chapter describes the role of reporting criminal offenses in criminal proceedings. In particular, it deals with the status of the procedure for initiating criminal prosecution in criminal proceedings. It then deals with the very aspects of the procedure for filing a crime report, in particular with crime reporting, its formalities, options in filing a criminal complaint, and procedures following the filing of a criminal complaint, while it points out the issue of imposing the act of closed file. Chapter two highlights the rights of the complainant, the injured and the victim in connection with the reported crime. This chapter addresses issues with informing the injured person or victim at the point of crime reporting. Furthermore, this chapter deals with the right of the complainant to an effective investigation. Chapter three deals with the benefits of crime reporting by its perpetrator as encompassed in the Criminal Code. Tato práce se zabývá právem a informacemi, jejich vývojem, významem pro společnost a vzájemným vztahem. Informace se vyskytuje téměř ve všech právních oblastech, zmíněno je především právo na informace a jeho ochrana a právní úprava informace spojená se zveřejňováním informací na Internetu. V souvislosti s Internetem je v práci ještě popsána informační kriminalita. K informaci lze přistupovat z různých hledisek, práce je zaměřena na hledisko právní, organizační, bezpečnostních standardů a morální. Na závěr jsou popsány soudní kauzy týkající se informace v různých podmínkách.

Ekonomie kybernetického zločinu / Economics of Cyber Criminality

Práce se zabývá ekonomickou analýzou kybernetického zločinu. Základním východiskem analýzy je model jednání racionálního kybernetického zločince rozhodujícího se o očekávaných nákladech a užitcích své činnosti vyjádřené v jednotkách peněžního ekvivalentu. Rozhodovací problém kybernetického zločince tvoří optimalizační úlohu z vzhledem k jeho nákladům. V rámci práce je odvozen rovnovážný optimální stav zločince. Další diskutovanou problematikou jsou metody boje proti kybernetickému zločinu a detailní rozbor metody zvýšené intenzity boje. Metoda zvýšené intenzity boje je založena na snižování počtu spáchaných kybernetických zločinů pomocí mechanismu zvyšujícího náklady zločincům. Mezní zločinci jsou v případě komerční varianty zločinu vytlačeni z trhu, zbývající alespoň sníží svoji produkci. Naopak pro specifickou verzi komunitní varianty zločinu tato metoda vede ke zvýšení trestné činnosti. Posledním tématem je interakce výrobců softwaru působícího síťové efekty, spotřebitelů a softwarových pirátů. Práce obsahuje model nerozvinutého a rozvinutého trhu a variantu s dokonalou cenovou diskriminací. Ukazuje se, že na rozvinutém trhu může monopolní výrobce softwaru svoji pozici vylepšit snahou o zvyšování intenzity boje se zločinem, přičemž v případě s cenovou diskriminací tento mechanismus nemá limit a teoreticky může působit až do úplného vymýcení softwarového pirátství.

This diploma thesis "Development of representation of crime in the Czech print media" deals with the way of the representation of crime in the Czech press and its development from 1995 to 2010. It found out how much space is devoted to crime, compare the representation of domestic and foreign events, find out if they are among surveyed journals some differences. It also analyzes what crime is the most highly publicized, and focuses on the personality of the perpetrator and the victim of a gender perspective. The theoretical part treat of crime and deviant behavior and discusses their possible causes. It also deals with the central sociological issues, such as social norms, social control and socialization. Also based on the findings of science that deals with crime, criminology, refers to its concept of the classification of the crime and information about the investigation of the crime, take expectation to the issue of statistical data.

Criminological Aspects of Drug-Related Crime ABSTRACT The thesis deals with the topic of criminological aspects of drug-related crime. Considering the breadth of the issue, it focuses only on the so-called primary drug-related crime, i.e. criminal activity consisting of violation of laws and regulations on the handling of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. The aim of the thesis is particularly to describe the situation and development of the primary drug-related crime in the territory of the Czech Republic and to summarize possible development trends in the following years, as well as to map the development of national and international legislation and assess its possible effects on the drug problem. Finally, based on empirical research, the thesis aims to characterize drug-related crime committed on the territory of the capital city of Prague for which the perpetrators were finally convicted in 2017. The first chapter of the thesis defines the terms relevant to the topic, especially with respect to applicable legislation. This Master Thesis deals with the issue of crime and the perception of safety on the example of a housing estate area. In this case, it is a case study of the housing estate Černý Most. The basic principle is to provide a subjective perspective on the perceptions of safety of the inhabitants in the investigated area and to monitor the issue of what personal experience these residents realistically have with crime. The Thesis also seeks to identify the places that residents consider to be dangerous for them, which evoke the feeling of fear in them and to find out how their behavior changes in these places. Where applicable, to identify the similarities of these places, to trace if there are similar characteristics or whether it is the social and physical environment of the settlement itself that adds to the increased sense of fear. Moreover, work of the police and prevention against crime in the given location will be mentioned.

The level of crime has to be regulated in order to prevent the crime to cause major damage to society. Therefore it is profitable to address criminal recidivism as well. Recidivism is caused by a complicated process of reintegration of people with criminal records back to society. The main goal of this thesis was to find the main factors affecting reintegration process of people after incarceration. The thesis is trying to reach the results by quantitative research, specifically examining the frequencies and dependence of categorical variables. The main factors which influence the reintegration process of people with criminal past are unemployment and indebtedness. These elements are affected by certain demographic factors. These factors also influence the type of criminal activity and the probability of criminal recidivism.

Eng. Violent crime a it's prevention Violence, violent crime and it's prevention are the main focus points of my thesis. Violence is as old as humanity itself, it made and destroyed some of the most famous people of our history and history of the whole world. Violence played and still plays a very important part in building and undoing nations. Even though it's often regarded as the last measure, violence is still present in our everyday lives. That's why it's still importat to study this subject. The main goal of my thesis is to elaborate the basics of violent crime and it's prevention as a whole and in the Czech Republic. Is the prevention system and it's goals set right to prevent violent crime and crime altogether? Is consumation of alcohol and other substances linked to the violent crime?
