The diploma thesis is entitled "Internal Risks of a Critical Infrastructure Entity from the Public Sector". It deals with the analysis and evaluation of the internal risks of a critical infrastructure entity, namely a large business center in one of the regional cities of the Czech Republic, with an emphasis on ensuring the continuity of its function and expressing recommendations for adjusting existing risks. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the definition of initial theoretical knowledge and essential terms related to the solving issue of critical infrastructure. In the next sections, the work focuses specifically on the shopping center object and the analysis of the current state of its internal risks, which first reveals possible sources of risk in each part of the shopping center, then describes how to determine the degree of criticality of rooms, risk assessment and last but not least proposes and gives recommendations for action against the risks identified.

The diploma thesis deals with the creation of a business development strategy in the field of remote water readings. Based on the analysis of the external and internal environment, weaknesses and strengths as well as opportunities and threats are identified, which are arranged in a SWOT matrix. With the help of critical analysis, a proposal for a company development strategy is developed, the implementation of which is to improve the company's position on the market.

This master’s thesis solves the problem of subcontracting. It analyzes the company of IMOS Zlín s.r.o., it recommends requirements for development of subcontracting in the company based on critical analysis in real building contract, which the company realized in the past.

This master thesis focuses on the analysis of critical points on the road in České Budějovice region. The aim is to suggest organizational and engineering solutions that have an impact on traffic safety in selected sections of road .

In this master's thesis I presented a new statistical method KDE+ (Kernel Density Estimation plus) that allows detecting clusters of points on the linear data. I created a self-standing application that enables anybody to try the method and apply it on their own data. One possible usage of the method and application is for the detection of critical roads sections with a high concentration of traffic accidents. Development of the application includes analysis of KDE+ statistical method, design of appropriate program structures and the implementation. Optimization were carried out to achieve higher performance after creating the prototype. At the end the software was validated by analysing vehicle collision data from the police database of the Czech Republic.

This master thesis is dealing with the use of light scattering techniques in the study on formation of polyelectrolyte complexes in the system biopolymer-surfactant. Sodium hyaluronate was chosen as biopolymer and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide and karbethopendecinium bromide were selected as surfactants. The first precipitation experiments were performed to determine the optimal concentration range of surfactants for subsequent titration measurements performed on Zetasizer Nano ZS and for SEC-MALS analysis. The key parameters obtained from these measurements were the values of critical aggregation concentrations in hyaluronate-surfactant systems. It was found out that the increasing molecular weight of hyaluronan in these systems is causing reduction of obtained values of critical aggregation concentrations. Changes of Z-average particle size, zeta potential, polydispersity index, conformation plot, radius of gyration and molecular weight in the hyaluronan-surfactant system were monitored during experiments.

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of public attitude towards the state cultural policy. It examines the changes of media discourse regarding the state support of the art after 1989. Articles from "Lidové noviny" and "Právo" from the years 1990-1993, 1995-1996, 2005 and 2013 have been analysed. The selection focuses on such periods in which the issue of the relation between the state and culture was discussed in a greater extent (the period of essential changes of cultural infrastructure within the framework of economic transformation, publishing of the so-called White Book as the first cultural policy draft, discussion regarding the manifestation for "1% for the Culture" and the petition action "Safe the Culture"). The results of critical discourse analysis of media texts are complemented and partly confronted with the quantitative analysis of public opinion polls.

Karel Chlouba Abstract: This thesis deals with first metamorphosis of the Frankfurt School - its origins, deve- lopement and historical context. The developement of this metamorphosis of critical theory is split into three parts within this work: first part elaborates individual moments and motives of this positive dialectic and also observes the develomepent of skepticism within it; second part elaborates the sceptical turn itself and the third part deals with the negative dialectics mainly presented within the work The Dialectic of Enlightenment. This thesis aims mainly on thought of Max Horheimer as a leader of the circle of thin- kers. Although he is not always the most powerful source of insight in this circle, he is the one who controls the direction of its thinking.
