This work also examines the causes of remarkable uptorn in Finland's economic performance since 1990 and the longevity of such state. Attention is also paid to current main characteristics of Finnish economy in world context such as nordic social model, education system and research, development and innovations.

The aim of the thesis is to summarize the positive and negative aspects of China's economic model. The author characterizes China's socio-economic model and growth model and discusses the principles of their functioning. The author analyzes the economic development of China in the context of the global economic crisis, which assesses the ability of the Chinese economy to cope with this crisis. She examines the specific responses and actions of the government and central bank, and also evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of China's economic model and the possible threat that could affect the system in the future.

Theoretical and methodological part of the thesis deals with general public relations theory, determination of target groups and instruments of public relations. It also deals with ethics of public relations and corporate social responsibility. Characterization of crisis situations follows, with typology of crises and crisis public relations strategy. The practical part of the thesis describes crisis public relations of concrete corporation with proposals for solution. The last chapter, based on these proposals, summarizes general recommendations for corporate public relations in conflict and crisis situations.

The remedy solution is based on the combination of the results of the financial analysis and used in practice concept of change management above crisis conditions -- "V Concept". Thesis conclusion lies in discovering of insolvency of Technistone, a.s. company. The proposed solution mainly consists in the debt reorganization.

The diploma thesis concentrates on the financial and economic crisis on Iceland, analyses its triggers, describes its consequences and assumes possible future development of the country. The crisis on Iceland was caused by some imperfections of the economy and too big expansion of the bank activities abroad. Global recession sharpened the situation so much that the former successful economy was not able to fulfil its financial obligations. Economic growth fell and debts grew. This work shows the situation, where even the economically developed country can due to wrongly set economic parameters occur near to its bankruptcy. As a conclusion, there is shown the way out of crisis, which Iceland chose and began with the help of international organisations and also other countries. The thesis also analyses positive development of the situation due to the implemented regulations and restrictions and describes its future perspectives.

The thesis provides an analysis of Swedish economic development since the accession to the EU till present with emphasis on a period of boom and crisis at the beginning of the 3rd millennium. Basic macroeconomic indicators, such as GDP growth, inflation rate, public balance, general government debt, unemployment rate, foreign direct investment, current account of balance of payments are used to describe the economic development of Sweden. The first chapter focuses on the Swedish economy from the accession to the EU till the turn of the millennium. The second chapter deals with the Swedish economic development during the years 2000-2006. The third chapter describes the economic development of Sweden during the global economic crisis in 2007-2009 including selected issues related to the crisis.

The purpose of the submitted thesis "Automotive industry in the European area during the current world economy crisis and its perspectives" is an analysis of the position of automotive industry in the European room, including Russia and eastern Europe, and of its perspectives in times of emerging of new global automotive players. The automotive industry is considered within the passenger car segment. First part regards the determination of the world macro regions and the development of automotive industry, including its position at the present time after the impact of the world economy crisis. The second part shows the automotive industry in the European area and the third part shows the perspectives of the automotive industry in the future. The final part sums up the previous chapters with a particular example of French automaker Renault and his cooperation with Nissan and Dacia.
