This thesis concerns with speculative carry trade strategy. Carry trade is based on breach of Uncovered Interest Parity. The theoretical part is focused on traditional fundamental analysis. This thesis deals with the identification of carry trade existence and capture their expressions in the financial markets, verification profitability and attractiveness of carry trade operations, analysis of conditions for carry trade on financial markets before and after global financial crisis 2008. Important part of the work was also description of the consequences of carry trade transactions and their effects on the exchange rate and financial situation

This thesis deals with summarization, processing, transformation and interpretation of large amounts of betting odds data. The goal of this thesis is to find out whether it is possible to invest in sports betting odds market without any previous knowledge about sport, using only mathematical skills and business intelligence tools.

In the first part thesis describes theoretical basis about international business and exchange rate risk. The practical part focuses on analysis of the company through analysis of competition, financial analysis and SWOT analysis. Integrated overview is supplemented by exchange rate risk analysis. In the last part of thesis there are specific options of elimination exchange rate risk.

The master´s thesis focuses on the internal guidelines of the company Quaprotek Manufacturing, k. s. The theoretical bases of internal guidelines will be discussed in the first part and the basic concepts. In the second analytical part of the thesis the selected company will be introduce and analyze and the existing internal guidelines will be analyzed and evaluated. In the last part I will propose necessary internal guidelines, draft the formal aspects of the internal directive of the company and adjust the existing directives and create some missing directives.

1 Abstract Name: Complex evaluation of the basic school ski courses in the Czech republic Objective: The objective of this diploma thesis is to evaluate complexly a chosen basic school ski school courses in the Czech republic according to five above mentioned criteria and to confirm or dismiss hypothesisses. Methodology: I created a non-standardized questionnare with open-ended, semi close-ended and close- ended questions to evaluate ski courses according to the above mentioned criteria. This questionnare was sended non-anonymously online via survio.com to randomly chosen basic schools in every single province of the Czech republic. Collected data were statistically analysed in the Survio and Microsoft EXCEL® programm and the results were eriched with graphs and commentary. Results: In this diploma thesis basic school ski courses were evaluated according to determined criteria, at least one hypothesis was related to every criterion. I could confirm that the majority of ski course leaders are ski instructors (50 hours training, no trade licence). I could confirm four other hypothesisses as well, i. e. cross-country skiing is an essential part of more than 50% ski courses, less than 50% of pupils attend basic school ski courses, the majority of ski course instructors are teaching in accordance with the...

The diploma thesis deals with the effectiveness of the educational program of the National Institute of Further Education in Prague (National Institute of Pedagogy) from the point of view of its graduates, teaching assistants. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the specifics of the profession of teaching assistant in the Czech educational context. The mentioned theoretical area leads to a key topic, which is the education of teaching assistants. It also includes mapping the results of research already carried out. The empirical part contains an analysis of the educational program for teaching assistants, implemented by the National Institute of Further Education in Prague (National Institute of Pedagogy). Subsequently, it presents the results of the effectiveness of the educational program in terms of graduates of the qualification course in the profession of teaching assistant. The research investigation showed that the study at National Institute of Further Education in Prague intended for teaching assistants achieves a very high, almost maximum degree of efficiency.

The diploma thesis deals with the influence of foreign exchange interventions on net export of the Czech Republic. The first part deals with unconventional monetary policy instruments with focus on the exchange rate as a tool for zero lower bound situation. The reason why central banks use unconventional monetary policy instruments is described in this part as well as the impact of foreign exchange interventions on international trade. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on the international trade analysis of the Czech Republic and the influence of foreign exchange interventions on imports, exports, turnover and foreign trade balance. It is followed by the quantification of the relationship between the change of the nominal exchange rate CZK/EUR and the Czech international trade through a regression analysis. The results of the thesis show a positive impact of foreign exchange interventions on Czech international trade.

The diploma thesis is focused on the matter of continuing education of social department workers in municipalities in former Česká Lípa district. Specifically, it looks at what the educational needs in this area, workers have. The theoretical part is focused on the terminology. Firstly, it devotes to the characteristic of the former Česká Lípa district from the perspective of social work performed by the workers of municipalities. It also discusses the continuing education of workers and training needs analysis. This part also describes the burnout syndrome that is related to a supervision which is also a part of this thesis. The practical part is focused on the social workers' needs of continuing education. The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out which of the skills and knowledge for workers are the most needed. In the research, there was used the methodology of quantitative analysis via halfstructured questionnaires and the following structured interviews in order to gain the necessary qualitative data. The partial goals are to find out if the willingness of workers to participate on continuing education has impact on the burnout syndrome, or how burnout syndrome is related to participation in the supervision.

This thesis deals with the use of mindfulness techniques at adult clients with ADHD aiming to determine the beneficial effects of this kind of intervention. An eight-week long mindfulness course carried out by means of the action research was attended by twelve adults with ADHD in total. The course designed as eight individual online meetings helped to get a deeper insight into the benefit and demands of the individual techniques as they are perceived by the participants. The level of the attentiveness change was monitored by the Face Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire (FFMQ-15-CZ) both before and after attending the course. The analysis of the participants' answers, which have become the main method to collect the data, shows that the mindfulness method has brought changes in the participants' lives; among them getting conscious, present, the ability to slow down, calm down and stop, thanks to which they have managed to better face the ADHD manifestation. Mindfulness appears to be another possible intervention which can help adults to reduce difficulties caused by this disorder.
