Ênfase foi dada nos seguintes tópicos: i) formulação do problema ressonante de dois planetas em interação mútua; ii) desenvolvimento e expansão da função perturbadora; iii) solução numérica de problemas de valor inicial; iv) aplicações ao par de planetas HD10180d,e, os quais estão próximos da ressonância 3:1. A abordagem dos problemas foi realizada analítica e numericamente. Na primeira parte deste trabalho formulamos o problema geral de três corpos e reproduzimos os principais passos do desenvolvimento da função perturbadora. Na segunda parte realizamos simulações dos sistemas em questão utilizando as equações exatas de movimento (Newton) e comparamos os resultados com soluções numéricas das equações de Lagrange, i.e., equações de variação dos elementos orbitais escritas em termos da função perturbadora envolvida. Os resultados das simulações numéricas realizadas neste trabalho poderão ser aplicados para três propostas: i) comparação dos resultados entre as soluções exatas e aproximadas (Lagrange) das equações de movimento para, com isso, obter evidências numéricas do domínio de validade da aplicação da função perturbadora expandida nos problemas ressonantes; ii) estudo de dinâmica ressonante, i.e., caracterização e evolução temporal de ângulos críticos associados às ressonâncias; iii) estabilidade dinâmica de longo período dos sistemas em questão / In this work we study a fundamental Celestial Mechanics in order to apply to problems of current interest, such as dynamics of extrasolar planetary systems. Emphasis is given on the following topics: i) formulation of the problem of two resonant planets in mutual interaction, ii) dedution and expansion of the disturbing function; iii) numerical solution of initial value problems, iv) applications to the pair of planets HD10180d,e which orbits are near to the 3:1 resonance. We adopt both, analytical and numerical approaches. In the first part, we formulate the general three-body problem, and reproduce the main steps of the expansion of the disturbing function. In the second part we show the results of a great deal of numerical simulations of the systems using both the exact equations of motion (Newton) Lagrange equations. The simulations have been done with three main goals: i) comparison of the results of the exact and approximate solutions (Lagrange) equations of motion, in order to obtain numerical evidences of the validity domain of the application of the expanded disturbing function to resonant problems, ii) study of the resonant dynamics, i.e., characterization and evolution of critical angles associated with resonances, iii) investigate long-term dynamic stability of the systems in question

Nesta dissertação abordamos o problema. Encontramos primeiro as soluções radiais e depois estudamos a existência de soluções não radiais no anel com auxilio de argumentos variacionais. / In this thesis we investigate the problem. First we find the radial solutions and thcn wc study the existence of nonradial solutions in the case of the annulus by a variat.ional approach.

O presente trabalho tem por objetivo a maximização dos resultados de uma grande produção da "cultivar alface" pelo sistema hidropônico. Baseado na teoria da produção é considerado que o produto "cultivar alface" seja único, ou seja, uma produção simples. Utiliza-se uma função de utilidade do tipo Cobb-Douglas, pois a maioria das empresas buscam rendimentos crescentes em escala. Para obter a regra de ouro para uma grande produção, em ambiente protegido por estufa e controlado automaticamente por temporizador, escreveu-se o Lagrangiano da função CobbDouglas para determinar a quantidade de capital e de mão-de-obra Por fim, para combinar de modo ideal o capital e a mão-de-obra e com isso minimizar o custo, deve-se obedecer a uma restrição de nível de produção. Faz-se ainda conveniente o entendimento do escoamento da água por condutos abertos, da viscosidade que a solução nutritiva impõe à água e também o bombeamento do sistema em hidroponia. Ainda é feita a análise da condutividade elétrica da solução nutritiva Castellane & Araújo, para verificar se ela apresenta os valores que são recomendados na literatura e com isso comparados com a solução nutritiva hidromol A+B adquirida já pronta no mercado e amplamente utilizada no Colégio Agrícola de Frederico Westphalen para uma produção rotineira de 400 pés da "cultivar alface", de modo hidropônico. / The aim o f this work is the increase o f the ecconomical results o f a great production o f the "cultivate lettuce" for hidropônic systems. Based on the theory of production one considers the product "cultivate lettuce" alone, that is to say, a simple production. A CobbDouglas, function was used because almost all companies look for growing incomes in scale. To obtain the gold rule for a great production, in atmosphere protected by store and controlled automatically by timer, one should write the Lagrangian of the Cobb-Douglas function, to determine the amount of money and of workers. Finally, to combine in an ideal way the money and the workers and with that to descrease the cost, one should obey a restriction o f productíon levei. It is convenient the understanding of water flow throught open channels, the viscosity that the nutritious solution imposes to the water and also the pumping in a hidroponic system. One makes also the analysis of the electric conductivity of the nutritious solution CasteUane & Araújo, to verify if she presents the values that are described in the literature in comparison with the hidromol A+B, used in the Agricultural Scholl of Frederico Westphalen, for a routine production of 400 feets ofthe cultivate lettuce.

Este trabalho investiga a quebra da aproximação modulacional na interação não-linear de três ondas, a interação do tripleto de ondas. Um modo comum de descrever a interação de três ondas portadoras de alta frequência é a partir da aproximação modulacional, que assume que as amplitudes e fases são lentamente moduladas. Isto apenas é verdade quando o acoplamento entre as três ondas é fraco. Ao se analisar os tipos de dinâmica envolvidas quando o valor do acoplamento é alterado, para grandes valores de acoplamento é detectada uma transição abrupta onde a amplitude limitada do regime modulacional chega a outras regiões do espaço configuracional. Também é investigado o caso onde uma das ondas do tripleto possuir uma frequência muito menor que as outras duas. / This work investigates the breakdown of the traditional modulation approximation in the three wave nonlinear interactions, the wave triplet interaction. A common way to describe the interaction of three high-frequency carriers is by the modulacional approximation, which assume that amplitude and phases are slowly modulated. This is only accurate when the three-wave coupling is weak. When analyzing the different types of dynamics when the coupling is changed, for large values of coupling it is detected an abrupt transition where the limited amplitude of the modulacional region reaches to other regions of the configuration space. It is also investigated the case where one of the waves of the triplet has a much lower frequency than the other two.

Também é investigado o caso onde uma das ondas do tripleto possuir uma frequência muito menor que as outras duas. / This work investigates the breakdown of the traditional modulation approximation in the three wave nonlinear interactions, the wave triplet interaction. A common way to describe the interaction of three high-frequency carriers is by the modulacional approximation, which assume that amplitude and phases are slowly modulated.
