L'expérience de l'incapacité motrice à Yaoundé au Cameroun : une analyse des perturbations biographiques / The experience of motor disability in Yaounde-Cameroun : a biographical disruption analysis

Amor Ndjabo, Monique 17 November 2018 (has links)
Cela permet une analyse située des mécanismes de construction du handicap à partir des expériences des individus / The occurrence of a motor disability is a major event that is not limited to corporal dimensions, but also involves social dimensions. Individuals are faced with biographical disruptions characterized by breaches and bifurcations in their lifetrajectories and by the loss of place and role in social life. The occurrence of disability calls for a reorganization of living conditions and of the day-to-day life when returning to their usual environment after a stay in a rehabilitation centre. Experiencing motor disability thus makes it possible to grasp the social dynamics of life trajectories and the resources solicited by persons with motor disability in the process of their social reconstruction.Based on interviews conducted with men and women with motor disabilities and living at home in Yaoundé (Cameroon), this thesis aims at analysing the interactions between motor disability and social environment in the reorganization of their life trajectories and in their different activities following the onset of disability. By adopting a social model of the handicap, it highlights the biographical disruptions and the resources needed in the different trajectories to maintain and adapt their identity. It allows a situated analysis of the mechanisms of production of disability from the experience of individuals.

No. of bitstreams: 1 Jozimeire Angélica Stocco de Camargo Neves da Silva.pdf: 21151123 bytes, checksum: 5e4b85d3804642e1ea52aa2b64abef35 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2016-10-21 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / The research The Professional Law Education Teacher: the identity building process and teaching knowledge during life trajectories is an investigation with professors who teach in the Graduate courses Sensu Lato, Law School of São Bernardo do Campo. The approach is about building identity and teaching knowledge of law professors during the trajectories of how they engage in teaching, without specific training, influenced by legal practice, as well as foregrounding the issues of training, professionalism and teaching procedure in these courses, contextualizing the Institution where the research took place and composing a frame of reference for reflection on the legal teaching. The study was conducted from the assumptions of the qualitative dimension, involving document analysis and reflective research through various procedures. In the focus of this study, we sought theoretical support from the authors that address the themes: Narratives of Life (Josso, 2007), Teacher Training in Contemporaneity (Feldmann, 2009; Novoa, 2000); Teacher Training (Nóvoa, 2000); Teaching Profession (Sacristán, 1998, 2000, 2013); Professionalization and Professionalism (Contreras, 2002; Tardiff 2012, 2014; Perrenoud 1999, 2002); Professor of Higher Education (Masetto, 2003, 2010, 2012 and 2013). We conclude that the teachers participating in this research have learned to be teachers and "are being it" in the trajectories that enabled the acquisition of knowledge and possible interaction with the student and the institution in which they work, and this can contribute to the construction of their identity process and that there is a collective identity of belonging to the mastership, even without training related to university teaching / A Pesquisa O Profissional Docente do Ensino do Direito: o processo de construção da identidade e saberes docentes durante as trajetórias de vida é uma investigação realizada com professores que lecionam nos Cursos de Pós- Graduação Lato Sensu da Faculdade de Direito de São Bernardo do Campo.

AÃÃes artÃsticas na cidade de MacapÃ: conexÃes de mundos, trajetÃria e experiÃncia na AmazÃnia / Artistic actions in the city of Macapa: world connections, trajectory and experience in the Amazon

Silvia Carla Marques Costa 30 March 2017 (has links)
The interlacing involved in these two moments of life were mediated by seeing in the artistic actions, potent modes of discussion beyond the embellishment, naturalization and the turning into a spectacle of the AmazÃnia. Therefore, it was found in the dialogue with eleven visual artists, residents of MacapÃ/AP city, the empirical field of research, the desire to understand: How artistic productions impact and how its express the experience in the lived trajectory, especially when they interact, integrate and communicate with the sociological-cultural space of the subjects similar to the narratives in the Amazonian context. From a qualitative mark, the research has the perspective to perceive and analyze the lived moments with the Amazonian space and its production of the elaborated senses expressed in the artistic production. The emphasis on anthropology of senses, bounded to the social poetics that present themselves in the daily life and in the subjectivity of the interlocutors and the researcher, are expanded about the city notion and the aesthetic production. Respectively polyphonic and bearers of collaborative worlds, the subjects organize, feel and make the city with artistic production. They are collective and individual agency that reveals visibility and voice taking singled by the individuals experience. Of ethnographic intention, the researchers substantial bond that observe the subjects actions and the social life sense, the research allied the capture of images beyond the record and the illustration of the field in the written text. The advance was to resort to the sensorial dimension in order to participate effectively in the ways of knowing, doing and becoming a researcher. Thus, the curious look and the capture of images, the sensitive listening and the accompaniment of four artistic actions, the writing expresses the lived. In this way, I conclude that the lived experience can be materialized in the aesthetic productions as narratives that tell us the existence of life in the AmazÃnia in its symbolic and perceptual particularities, and through the narratives they express its respectives politics, economics, social and cultural contexts lived by the subjects

Senhores do destino? Professional trajectory as a conditioning factor to the acceptance of new therapeutic technologies for manipulating stem cells in a sector of the medical community in Rio Grande do Sul

Sandalowski, Mari Cleise January 2009 (has links)
The 20th century is marked by the manifestation of a new way of perceiving the human body. The consolidation of Molecular and Cellular Biology allowed the individual to investigate microscopic particularities of the structures which form the human organism, potentializing the creation of new therapeutic practices. However, these innovating technologies in the field of Health are accompanied by ethical and moral questionings, for their investigative practices favor the polemic around the juridical status of the human embryo and their possible social and natural consequences regarding the incorporation of these technologies in people's routine. Even though science and rationality are central in the organization of modern society, technological advancement has not necessarily been perceived and apprehended in the same way by the members that compose society, either technicians or laymen. The acceptance of a technological innovation depends on both a process of successive adjustment of confrontation, negotiation and understanding and the experiences which characterize the trajectory of each social agent. This technological acceptance results from the approximation of parallel cultures. Thus, the objective of this study is to comprehend the relation between Biotechnology - studies on stem cell manipulation - and socio-professional trajectories in a sector of medical community in Rio Grande do Sul. Based on the regenerative medicine of stem cell manipulation, this study is an attempt to understand how this relation interferes in the acceptance of such sector towards this type of scientific investigation by analyzing instances of social life in which these professionals are inserted as well as the way they operate, their values, their ethical and moral attitude regarding new technologies.

An exploration of the occupational-life-trajectories of five young men in the Heideveld community

Du Preez, Karlien 03 1900 (has links)
Thesis (MOccTher)--Stellenbosch University, 2013. / ENGLISH ABSTRACT: Heideveld, a suburb that forms part of the “Cape Flats”, is plagued by high levels of crime, gangsterism, unemployment and relative poverty. I became specifically interested in the occupations of the young men in Heideveld, as I often observed them loitering in the streets, at an age when they should have been in school, studying or starting a career. This led me to wonder about the repertoire of occupations that they had performed over the course of their lives, i.e. their occupational-life-trajectories. I became interested in the influence that the environment and their personal attributes had on the occupations that they performed over time. Guided by the Person-Environment-Occupation model as a conceptual tool I decided to explore the occupational-life-trajectories of men between the ages of 20 and 25 throughout the course of their life, up to their current age. At the organisation where I volunteered during my time in Heideveld, there was a weekly programme for the children and young women (aged 12 to 22), but nothing for young men, which prompted my interest in doing research about this age group. My initial thinking was to form the theoretical basis from which an occupation-based intervention group could be developed. I intended to explore what had motivated occupational participation throughout their lives, how certain occupations developed over time and the influence of the environment on their occupations. Snowball sampling was applied to gain access to the participants. Using a qualitative approach I combined a method called PhotoVoice with individual, narrative interviews, in order to collect data on the occupational-life-trajectories of five young men from Heideveld. PhotoVoice is a participant-based method that allowed the interviewees to take photos of occupations that they have performed throughout their lives. The photographs were used to facilitate the interview process along with two or three guiding questions. Within-case and cross-case analysis were used to find themes that pertained to the aims of the study. I uncovered five themes in my analysis: “Ons gee nie krag weg nie/We don’t give away power”, “Ons het saam geloop/We ‘hang out’ together”, “Ek het baie probleme by die huis gehet/I had many problems at home”, “Die lewe is swaar hier buite/Life is hard out here” and “Ek wil net uit hierdie plek kom/I just want to get away from this place”. I found that the environment played a large role in the occupational-life-trajectories of the participants. I also found that the participants’ sense of masculinity, gender and identity affected their occupational choices and participation. I explain the peer nature and motivational factors influencing gangsterism and drug use as they manifested in the young men’s lives. I concluded that an occupation-based intervention programme might address certain aspects such as occupational choice and exposure, but that wider, more long-lasting intervention was necessary to truly make a difference in the occupational-life-trajectories of young men in Heideveld. After taking the support structures in the physical environment into consideration, recommendations were made in terms of the family unit, the peer group, education, skills training and community empowerment. Furthermore, as the organisation already serves boys between 10 and 14 years and a greater impact may be possible at this life stage, more detailed recommendations were developed regarding a possible occupational therapy intervention programme. Ek het vyf temas ge-identifiseer gedurende my analise: “Ons gee nie krag weg nie/We don’t give away power”, “Ons het saam geloop/We ‘hang out’ together”, “Ek het baie probleme by die huis gehet/I had many problems at home”, “Die lewe is swaar hier buite/Life is hard out here” en “Ek wil net uit hierdie plek kom/I just want to get away from this place”.
