E-handel är numera en integrerad del av vår vardag och 65 % av de som använder internet handlar via e-handel. E-handel är ett värdeutbyte mellan flera parter och Business to Consumer (B2C) är det denna rapport fokuserar på. Vad som oftast utbyts är betalning mot en vara eller tjänst. För allt fler sker e-handeln via smartphone (mCommerce) och denna e-handel förväntas öka ytterligare. Tillit är en förväntan på den andra parten att uppfylla sin del av det förväntade avtalet. I fallet e-handel inkluderas även e-handelsplattform-artefakten i tilliten. Tilliten till en e-handel beror bland annat på hur betalningslösningar presenteras i e-handelsplattformen. Denna rapport har undersökt Sveriges 105 vanligaste e-handelsplattformer och hur dessa presenterar sina betalningslösningar samt hur olika deltagares (10 i första samt 18 i andra experimentet) tillit varierade beroende på hur betalningslösningar presenterades. Rapporten visar att få e-handlare presenterar sina betalningslösningar för smartphoneanvändare och att tilliten till e-handelsplattformen samt att viljan att göra ett köp är lägre då betalningslösningar ej presenteras. Rapporten föreslår vidare forskning i området och ger en indikation till utvecklare att visa betalningslösningar för att öka tilliten vid e-handel via smartphone.

How do your customers trust you from their mobile phone? : A company's perspective to an extended understanding of the mobile technological factors needed to affect customers' trust on mobile applications or websites.

The purpose of this research is to provide companies with how they can affect customer’s trust through tools found within the three technological factors on mobile applications or websites. A research gap was discovered by the researchers due to the lack of in-depth exploration regarding this topic and took the opportunity to do research within this field. This research undertook a qualitative research approach with a deductive nature, this was done by using a theoretical sample technique with theories on what factors affect customers' trust on mobile applications and websites. When collecting information for this research, 14 unstructured in-depth interviews were conducted online. With the help of the interviews the researchers could gather rich in-depth information to explore the research question. The main theoretical findings of this research are the three personas, Branded Betty, Aesthetical Alexia and Recommended Rob. Each persona is representative of a customer and they are each stimulated by the technological tools differently to trust a mobile application or website.

Symmetric Key Management for Mobile Financial Applications : A Key Hierarchy Approach

In recent times the usage of smart phones has significantly increased. Businesses are transforming to make more out of smart phones. As a consequence, there is an increasing demand to have more and more mobile applications. Among other areas, mobile applications are also being used to make financial transactions. Applications used for financial transactions need to be more reliable and have end-to-end security. To implement security we heavily depend on cryptography and the heart of cryptography is the keys which are used in cryptographic processes (encryption/decryption). Therefore, it is essential not only to protect, but also to properly manage these keys, so that a robust and secure system can be achieved. This research work provides a complete implementation of symmetric key management for mobile phone applications with a focus on financial data using a key hierarchy approach. We have developed a key management system which allows smart phones to download the cryptographic key hierarchy. This key hierarchy is used to encrypt and decrypt financial data, such as PIN and other transaction information. Using this application (key management system), we can achieve an end-to-end security between client (mobile phones) and payment server (banking server). This research work presents implementation of key management system for Android OS only.
