1 UNIVERZITA KARLOVA V PRAZE FILOZOFICKÁ FAKULTA KATEDRA PSYCHOLOGIE DIPLOMOVÁ PRÁCE Klára Englertová Sebekoučování - dosahování cílů metodou "malých kroků" Self-coaching - attainment of goals by "small steps" Praha, 2014 Vedoucí práce: doc. MUDr. Mgr. Radvan Bahbouh, PhD. 2 ABSTRACT: This diploma thesis deals with methods of achieving goals and methods of increasing efficiency within the postponed activities in the context of self-coaching and self-management and this specifically for university population, which is indicated by the high prevalence of this phenomenon. The strategy of "small steps" or "quick wins" is described as possible self- coaching and self-management intervention. The validity of Procrastination scale is verified within the overview study by comparison with different studying strategies divided into those with and without delay. At the same time the techniques increasing students' efficiency are mapped, based on their subjective responses. Within the experimental study is then verified "efficient sprint" method, as a strategy of intense concentration on a short-term actions to achieve the goal. There are observed differences in subjectively rated advance toward the target and perceived difficulty of its attainment, specifically in severely procrastinating students. The results show a...

Studium vybraných podjednotek komplexu exocyst u rostlin a jejích interaktorů v autofagické dráze / Study of selected plant exocyst subunits and its interactors in autophagy pathway.Rácová, Denisa January 2015 (has links)
Exocyst is a binding protein complex, which is evolutionary conserved in yeast, animal and in plant cells. It has crucial role in regulation of cell morfogenesis and cell polarity. The function of the exocyst complex is binding of secretoric vesicle to the proper side on plasma membrane in penultimate step of exocytosis. This process is essecial for function and survival of cell. Another process crucial for the cell is autophagy. In plants autophagy plays important role in the responses to nutrient starvation, senescence, abiotic and biotic stress. RabG3b are small GTPases, which have positive role in autophagy. In this work I described the interaction between RabG3b and some of subunits of exocyst complex: Exo70B1, Exo70B2 and Exo84b. I also studied changes in morfogenesis of tonoplast by induction and inhibition of authophagy and induction of anthocyans synthesis in Arabidopsis thaliana.

Flare hvězdy / Flare starsKára, Jan January 2018 (has links)
The works deals with the study of the flare stars, which is a group of stars for which sudden brightening can be observed. The work focuses on a star GJ 3236, which is a low-mass eclipsing binary and on which numerous flares have been observed. For the analysis of this system spectroscopic and photometric data were used, which were obtained at various observatories. Parameters of the binary system have been determined by analysing spectroscopic and photometric data with the program PHOEBE. A total of 241 flares have been detected in the photometric data and for 190 flares, which light curves were not affected by eclipses, released energies were estimated. The set of flares was used for the study of stellar activity of the binary. The energy distribution of observed flares is similar to the flares observed on other flare stars and also on the Sun. This suggests, that the flare mechanism is the same for these stars.

Analýza náchylnosti území Česka ke vzniku svahových deformací / Landslide susceptibility analysis of CzechiaRacek, Ondřej January 2018 (has links)
In geosciences modelling is rather quickly developing discipline. Statistical modelling of landslide susceptibility is relatively more traditional approach. Nevertheless, more complicated statistical methods are being developed and applied on larger areas. This development is caused especially by increasing computational capacity and software. This diploma thesis summarises existing statistical landslide susceptibility modelling approaches. In the following part, several landslide susceptibility models were created for the area of Czechia. These models were created using logistic regression, naive Bayes and artificial neural network (ANN). Additionally, two more models were created using expert driven approach. All models were made using thirteen conditioning factors, i.e.elevation, slope, engineering geological regions, climatic areas, mean annual precipitation, topographic wetness index (TWI), aspect, orogenetic class, distance from confirmed fault, distance from watercourse, internal relief, land cover and slope shape. Models driven by statistical approach were created using Orange software. Landslide inventories that were used for construction of all models are based on two databases: "Registr svahových nestabilit" and "Registr sesuvů-Geofond". Using validation by SRC, PRC and ROC curves...

Komparace malých, středních a velkých her u elitních hráčů dorosteneckého fotbalu z pohledu zatížení / Comparison of small, medium and large sides games in elite youth soccer players with respect to loadingZerzán, Miloš January 2021 (has links)
Title: Comparison of small, medium and large games for elite youth football players in terms of load. Aims: The aim of this work was to compare small, medium and large games for elite youth football players U17 in terms of load, where we used various forms of interval games from small through medium to large games. Methods: The research group consisted of 18 U17 players. Data was recorded using GPSspots instruments and a Polar T34 chest strap. The games were divided into small forms, medium forms and large forms. Each of the given forms of games differed in the number of players from 1 in 1 to 10 in 10, the load interval, the number of repetitions, the length of rest time and the size of the field. During testing we measured speed (km / h), distance traveled (m / min), heart rate (beats / min), number of all sprints, number of repeated sprints. Results: The results of this thesis indicate that the maximum speed of players increases with the increase in size of game format. Players reach the highest maximum speeds in LSG games. The heart rate was around 167 beats in the compared interval games, and in MSG games the heart rate was two beats lower. Furthermore, the results also show that small forms of games involve more repeated sprints compared to medium and large games. In terms of distance...

Bývalý vojenský újezd Libavá: vznik nového komunálního politického systému / The Former Military District Libavá: the Establishment of the New Municipal Political SystemVáclavíková, Michaela January 2017 (has links)
This thesis focuses on optimization of military estates in the Czech Republic that is connected both to establishment of new municipalities and transition from military administration to local administration. The thesis tries to describe the process itself being finished by setting settlement units aside from military estates, reduction of their borders and dissolution of the Brdy military estate. A case study of the Libavá Town is also a part of the thesis. The study is trying to monitor the impact of the transition mentioned above on civil population and on the newly established local administration. Three methods were used to collect the data - namely half structured interviews with chief participants, a survey amongst Libavá inhabitants and media monitoring. A part of the theoretical part is also an analysis of military estates in Europe whose characteristics and differences are also presented.

Analýza indikátorů sociálního prostředí v obci na základě různých kritérií pro využití na lokální úrovni / Analysis of indicators of the social environment in the municipalities on the basis of various criteria for use at the local levelGalgonek, Dina January 2018 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with analysis of indicators of the social environment in small municipalities with up to 2 000 inhabitants based on various criteria for local use. The aim of the thesis is to propose an indicator set, which will best meet the requirements of such set in terms of applied criteria. The research question is: What indicators should be included in an indicator set for assessing the social environment of municipalities with up to 2 000 inhabitants to suit the differences and needs of these communities? The research problem addressed in the thesis concerns the possibility of measuring social sustainability at the local level, focusing on small municipalities with up to 2 000 inhabitants in the Czech Republic. The thesis also focuses on the possibility of projecting SDGs into this set. It is a qualitative research that involves the use of methods of document analysis, comparison, description, non-participant observation and semi-structured interviews. Based on the first four methods and theoretical knowledge, a preliminary design of the indicator set was created. Within the framework of semi-structured interviews, this design was discussed with representatives of selected small municipalities and other stakeholders. The edited set represents the final indicator set of the social...

Koaliční politika malých stran v České republice po volbách 2017 / Coalition policy of small parties in the Czech Republic after the elections 2017Sobotková, Dominika January 2019 (has links)
This thesis deals with the position of small parties in the Czech parliamentary system after the elections to the Chamber of Deputies in autumn 201. The main focus is holding on the period from the official start of the election campaign on 2 May 2017 until the press release of selected parties after signing Coaliton on 10 July 2018. At the same time this paper focuses on the strategies of small political entities in the negotiations on the government in a situation where the election winner became the ANO movement and the only candidate for the prime minister is the prosecuted Andrej Babiš. Attention is paid to the strategy of the small political subjects, when they are faced with deciding whether to give priority to offices in the government and the opportunity to push through their political agenda or decide to keep the voters' promise and remain in opposition. The issue is examined from the perspective of the smallest political entities in the Chamber of Deputies - KDU-ČSL, TOP 09 and STAN. Emphasis is also placed on putting the issue into the context of the Czech party system and the ability of small parties to promote their program in the past. The aim of the thesis is to create a case study giving an explanation of the coalition strategy of small political parties and movements, which got...

Zaniklé malé vodní nádrže v Krkonoších: co by přinesla jejich obnova? / Small water reservoirs in the Krkonoše Mountains: What would their regeneration bring?Šádková, Eva January 2020 (has links)
This thesis deals with the evaluation of influence of small water reservoirs on the extreme runoff events (floods and drought) in the upper Úpa River basin. It summarizes knowledge about both hydrological extremes and their manifestations in the basin of interest as well as about small water reservoirs in the sense of water retention measures and their possible importance during the periods of low flows or floods. In this thesis two localities of possible reservoirs at place of former splash dams in Obří důl and on the Lysečinský Brook were chosen. To assess the influence of small water reservoirs on runoff during two chosen flood events and two periods of drought, the hydrological model HEC-HMS was applied. The results of model simulation proved a positive influence of reservoirs on the reduction of flood peaks (except for a concurrence of transformed flood waves in the outlet that occurred during one flood event), but the effect was decreasing with the increasing catchment area and the intensity of precipitation and with smaller storage capacity of a reservoir. During the low flows, a positive influence of reservoirs was observed as well, relating to the release of stored water. However, the ability of a reservoir to reduce deficit volume and to balance the flow was decreasing with smaller...
