Tem um pouco de biografia intelectual, um pouco de biografia crítica. Mas é sobretudo a vida de um homem de teatro. O trabalho se abre com uma discussão teórica, em face da qual procuro situar essa abordagem de uma vida. Como toda biografia, prevaleceu aqui o interesse pela disposição cronológica dos fatos, com paradas para tratar de certos aspectos importantes, a vida de jornalista, a peças de maior sucesso. No primeiro capítulo explanei sobre o período santista de Plínio, as origens familiares, o jovem de vida solta, longe da escola, o trabalho no circo, o contato com Pagu, a estréia de Barrela, sua primeira peça. Os capítulos IV, V e VI tratam da vida de Plínio em São Paulo, o trabalho de camelô, o envolvimento com a classe teatral, a afirmação do dramaturgo com Dois perdidos numa noite suja, Navalha na carne e Abajur lilás, peças que definem a originalidade do autor em termos de tema e de linguagem. Aponto as dificuldades com a censura, o jornalismo polêmico, o interesse do autor pela cultura popular. E, como pede qualquer biografia, encontram-se aqui informações sobre a vida afetiva de Plínio, as relações familiares, a separação e um novo encontro. Ao fim, a morte, as homenagens. / This is a Plínio Marcos biography, a playwright who was born in Santos, at 1935. It has something of intellectual biography, and a little of critical biography. But it is mainly the history of a theatre man. I open this work with a theoretical discussion, where I try to situate this approach of a life. As every biography, I chose to work with the chronological disposition of the facts, but also stopping here and there to describe some important aspects of Plínio`s life, as the journalism experience, the most successful plays. The first and the second chapter deals with the santist period (1935- 1960), the familiar roots, the young boy living free, always from the school, the circus`s experience, the contact with Pagu, the first presentation of Barrela, his first play. The chapters IV, V and VI show Plinio`s life in São Paulo, the street seller work, the contacts with theatre`s people, his affirmation as a good playwright with Dois perdidos numa noite suja, Navalha na carne e Abajur lilás, where we can find the main thematic line of his works, and a specific use of the language. I show the difficulties with the censure, the polemic journalism, the interest to the popular culture. And, as it happens with almost all biographies, there are here informations about his affective life, the familiar convivial, the separation and the life with a new woman. In the end, death and celebration of his name.

O presente trabalho propõe uma tradução integral e anotada da obra epigramática do poeta latino Marcos Valério Marcial (c. 40 - c. 105 d.C.). Para tanto, propõe um modelo de compreensão do texto que envolve sua análise desde as camadas pré-textuais, como a constituição do gênero praticado pelo autor ou a obra de seus modelos, passando por um recenseamento dos leitores para chegar finalmente a um modelo sistematizado de tradução poética e de ferramentas de suporte à leitura / This paper proposes a complete and annotated translation of the epigrammatic work of the Latin poet Martial (c. 40 - c. 105 AD). To achieve it, a model of text comprehension is suggested, involving the analysis from the pre-textual layers, such as the constitution of the genre practiced by the author or the poets he uses as models, through a census of the readers to finally get to systematized models for the poetical translation and the reading tools

Esta dissertação tem como objetivo geral fazer um levantamento toponímico das linhas, comunidades, bairros e ruas do município de São Marcos/RS, para relacionar a motivação toponímica com a realidade sociocultural de seus habitantes. O objetivo geral desdobra-se nos objetivos específicos, que atendem aos procedimentos metodológicos adotados, e que são os seguintes: revisar trabalhos sobre toponímia da Região de Colonização Italiana; fazer um inventário de nomes das linhas, comunidades, bairros e ruas do município de São Marcos de acordo com fontes oficiais; investigar nomes populares desses lugares; pesquisar a origem de alguns nomes oficiais e populares; investigar se os topônimos sofreram modificações ao longo do tempo. Além disso, objetiva-se também analisar padrões de motivação entre os topônimos investigados e relacioná-los com questões de identidade e cultura regional. Para a constituição do corpus foi feito um levantamento dos nomes das linhas, comunidades, bairros e ruas em mapas oficiais de São Marcos. A partir da análise do corpus verifica-se que na denominação de linhas, bairros e ruas há uma forte predominância de antropotopônimos masculinos e de origem italiana. No caso das ruas, há predominância de antropotopônimos que homenageiam pessoas comuns, diretamente ligadas à comunidade, mostrando o sentimento de valorização local e a construção de uma identidade regional. The general objective is opened up in the following specific objectives: to review work on Toponymy of the Region of Italian Colonization (RCI); to make an inventory of the names of lines, communities, districts and streets of São Marcos/RS according to official sources; to investigate popular place names; to research the origin of some official and popular names; to investigate whether the toponyms have suffered modification over time; to analyze patterns of motivation among the investigated toponyms, and relate them with regional cultural and regional identity issues. In order to compose the samples we did a survey of the names of lines, communities, districts and streets on official maps of São Marcos. From the analysis of the samples, it has been noticed that there is a higher predominance of masculine anthropotoponyms of Italian origin. With regard to streets, there is predominance of anthropotoponyms which honor ordinary people, directly related to the community, showing a feeling of local valuing and the construction of a regional identity. In the case of communities, there is a higher predominance of hagiotoponyms. This shows the religious influence and devotion to saints that the first inhabitants, Italian immigrants, passed to their descendents.
