Möller Berg, Amanda January 2015 (has links)

Fuzzy decision making using max-min and MMR methods / fuzzy decision making using max-min and MMR methods

Siddique, Muhammad January 2009 (has links)
Fuzzy logic is based on the theory of fuzzy sets, where an object’s membership of a set is gradual rather than just member or not a member. Fuzzy logic uses the whole interval of real numbers between zero (False) and one (True) to develop a logic as a basis for rules of inference. Particularly the fuzzified version of the modus ponens rule of inference enables computers to make decisions using fuzzy reasoning rather than exact. We study decision making problem under uncertainty. we analyze Max-Min method and Minimization of regret method originally developed by Savage and further developed by Yager. We generalize The MMR method by creating the parameterized family of minimum regret methods by using the ordered weighted averaging OWA operators.

Predicting solar max dc power using a linear regression model

Kwon, Youngsung 09 July 2012 (has links)
The increase in the consumption of energy year after year emphasizes the importance of power production by photovoltaic (PV) systems. Despite an increase in the use of PV systems, accurate solar power [kWh] daily harvest predicting data are not readily available. Accurate predicted solar power data is necessary because the data is helpful to designers who need to optimally size a PV panel before installation. Moreover, accurately predicted max dc power can indicate whether the PV panel is operating efficiently and economically or not. This thesis develops an approach to predict max solar power based on a Linear Regression model. The approach, which ia a simple regression was implemented using measured data on a response variable, a max solar power (Pmax), and predictor variables such as Global Horizontal (GH), Plane of Array (PA), Short Circuit Current (Isc), Open Circuit Voltage (Voc), and Panel Temperature (Temp). The statistical results of the linear regression model produced reasonable values which agreed with those of the measured data from the solar panel. / text

Max Frischs Einstellung zur Schweiz.

Arnold, Barbara Karin. January 1965 (has links)
Most Swiss writers participate actively in the affairs of their country: they take sides on political and economic issues and, like all other Swiss male citizens, cast their votes several times a year. In the tradition of Swiss Literature, the figure of the energetic or didactic writer predominates. Most writers are active in another profession in addition to writing. It could even be said that they consider their art only as a secondary profession. Until recently, the Swiss had a tendency to respect those writers only who had proved their qualities in business or industry before they took to writing. [...]
