Este estudo tem como objetivo geral compreender como os memoriais da Praça da Matriz constroem sua importância institucional para o Estado por meio de seus heróis organizacionais. Como objetivos específicos buscaram-se evidenciar as diferenças teóricas entre memória e história e seu uso na comunicação organizacional; verificar a influência do Positivismo no Estado do Rio Grande do Sul e as implicações em organizações na Praça da Matriz de Porto Alegre; analisar exposições de memoriais de organizações públicas localizados ao redor da Praça da Matriz de Porto Alegre. Para tanto, adotou-se como apoio teórico a literatura de várias áreas do conhecimento - como Sociologia, História, Ciências da Informação e Comunicação -, estabelecendo uma colagem de ideias e conceitos extraídos de seus contextos originais, como uma espécie de reconstrução do pensamento Os procedimentos metodológicos utilizados para o desenvolvimento da análise foram a visita e descrição dos memoriais e análise documental referente aos objetos expostos sobre os heróis organizacionais, preenchendo o quadro da Jornada do Herói, com as respectivas etapas e reflexão sobre suas criações no ambiente organizacional e na comparação entre eles. O estudo destaca a importância dos profissionais de comunicação pensarem mais sobre a construção dos mitos nos discursos da história institucional, refletindo desde sua escolha pelos historiadores até sua influência social e cultural para a organização. / This study has as a main objective to understand how the memorials of Matriz Square, in Porto Alegre, build their institutional relevance for the State by means of their organizational heroes. As per a specific objective, the intention was to highlight the theoretical diferences between memory and history and their use in organizational communication; to verify the influence of Positivism in Rio Grande do Sul State and the implications in organizations at Matriz Square; to analyze exhibitions of memorials of public organizations located in the surroundings of Matriz Square. In order to do so, the theoretical support that was needed was the literature of various fields on the knowledge, such as Sociology, History, Information Science and Communication, establishing a collage of ideas and concepts taken from their original contexts, as a kind of a thought reconstruction. The methodological procedures that were used for the development of the analysis were the visitation and description of the memorials and documental analysis regarding the exhibited objects about the organizational heroes, filling out the chart of the Hero Journey, with their respective stages and reflections on their creations in the organizational environment and comparisons between them. This study highlights the relevance of professionals of communication to think more about the construction of the myths in the speeches of institutional history, reflecting from the choosing of their historians up to their cultural and social influence on the organization.

O presente estudo tem como tema as solenidades de colação de grau na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) no período de 1992 a 2012 e, como foco as memórias das colações de grau dos cursos de Comunicação Social, Enfermagem e Engenharia, registradas através de depoimentos de graduados nos respectivos cursos e de membros da comunidade universitária que participaram da gestão acadêmica no recorte indicado desta investigação. Buscou-se investigar a trajetória do cerimonial, seus aspectos simbólicos e ritualísticos, inseridos aos contextos históricos, sociais e acadêmico-institucionais do referido período, bem como o papel dos agentes internos e externos nas prováveis mudanças ocorridas nas solenidades. O trabalho se insere na linha de pesquisa Memória, Cultura e Identidade e nos campos de estudos em memória social, trabalhando com conceitos de rito e cerimonial. O estudo, de natureza qualitativa, adotou a metodologia da história oral. O resultado da investigação foi apresentado em cinco capítulos, sendo os dois primeiros de caráter introdutório ao tema e de apresentação do cenário universitário no qual se procede à pesquisa e os três últimos capítulos apresentaram o contexto acadêmico e o cenário do cerimonial universitário e das colações de grau. Na conclusão, fez-se reflexão sobre o percurso do cerimonial das colações de grau, a cultura acadêmica e os testemunhos dos colaboradores. Para atingir as demandas de um mestrado profissional foi produzido um e-book com a memória das solenidades de colações de grau da UFRGS no período de 1992 a 2012. / This work aims at analyzing the graduation ceremonies that took place from 1992 to 2012 at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and we focus on the memories about the ceremonies in Social Communication, Nursing and Engineering experienced by students who have graduated and by academic staff who worked at the University within that period of time. We have investigated the history of ceremonial and its symbolic and ritualistic aspects according to different social, historical and institution-related events within that time, as well as the role of internal and external motivations for possible changes in the graduation ceremonies’ rites. This work is part of the research line Memory, Culture and Identity and relates to the field of social memory, dealing with the concepts of rite and ceremonial. The study, which has a qualitative approach, uses the methodology of oral history. The results of the investigation have been presented in five chapters, the first two introducing the subject and presenting the academic context and the setting for university ceremonial and graduation ceremonies. In our conclusion, we present a reflection on the pathways of ceremonial for graduation ceremonies, academic culture and the testimony of the contributors. In order to meet the requirements of a professional master’s course, we have written an e-book with the memories about the graduation ceremonies that took place from 1992 to 2012 at UFRGS.

O presente trabalho tem por objetivo apresentar o resultado de pesquisa sobre a memória registrada em uma pequena parcela do patrimônio documental que o Arquivo Histórico do Instituto de Artes da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. Trata-se de um conjunto documental constituído pelos livros de matrículas dos alunos do Instituto de Bellas Artes, antigo nome da referida unidade de ensino. Referem-se ao período compreendido entre os anos de 1908 e 1941. Esta investigação tem como objetivo geral propor uma reflexão sobre a importância dos documentos de origem administrativa/acadêmica da instituição, tanto para a sociedade, quanto para os profissionais multidisciplinares. Adotou-se a pesquisa documental como procedimento e, como método, a análise de fontes documentais. Também se discutiu a importância da arquivologia na construção da memória. Durante sua execução, alguns conceitos da área de arquivologia foram revisados, bem como foi elaborado um breve histórico da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, do Instituto de Artes e da constituição do acervo do Arquivo Histórico do Instituto de Artes. Foram apresentados os livros de matrícula e sua respectiva descrição arquivística; houve a tabulação de alguns dados da pesquisa, assim como foram trazidas informações sobre a preservação dos documentos e acesso do pesquisador a estes. Os produtos finais originados desta pesquisa são: guia do arquivo histórico, catálogo dos livros de matrícula e esta dissertação. Concluiu-se que há uma memória registrada nos livros de matrícula pesquisados, bem como há uma importante relação entre a Arquivologia e a Memória para o desenvolvimento e a preservação do passado da sociedade. / This study aims to present the results of research on memory recorded in a small portion of documentary heritage that the Historical Archive of Rio Institute of Arts of the Federal University of Grande do Sul. It is a set of documents consists of the books enrollment of students of the Institute of Fine Arts, old name of that teaching unit. Refer to the period between the years 1908 and 1941. This research has as main objective to propose a reflection on the importance of administrative/academic source documents of the institution, both for society and for multidisciplinary professionals. Adopted the documentary research as a procedure and, as a method, analysis of documentary sources. Also discussed the importance of arquivologia in the construction of memory. During his execution, some concepts of arquivologia area were reviewed and we prepared a brief history of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, the Institute of Arts and the constitution of the collection of the History Institute of the Arts Archive. The registration books and their respective archival description were presented; there was, tabulation of some survey data, and were brought about the preservation of documents and researcher access to these. The originating end products of this research are: Guide historical archive, catalog registration books and this dissertation. It was concluded that there is a recorded memory in the researched registration books, and there is an important relationship between Archival and the memory for the development and preservation of the past society.

A presente pesquisa objetivou investigar a criação de um novo habitus a partir da história e memórias da Escola de Administração (EA) da UFRGS que completou 20 anos em 2016. Para tanto, foi realizado um levantamento documental e fotográfico dos 20 anos da instituição, além de entrevistas de história oral com agentes vinculados a ela durante este período. As falas foram subdivididas nas categorias: história, memória e habitus e analisadas a partir de referencial teórico de Pierre Bourdieu e Joel Candau. Evidenciou-se nas falas que o campo de pesquisa demonstrou as razões práticas de todas as relações sociais e interações junto aos agentes. As mudanças de entendimento e encaminhamento de vida a partir das experiências vivenciadas no campo acadêmico resultaram em transformações práticas, tais como: i) Docentes – aplicação de novas metodologias em sala de aula; descoberta do papel de líder, gerador e inspirador de conhecimento; maior respeito à participação dos alunos em sala de aula. ii) Discentes – descoberta de competências próprias; crescimento profissional e pessoal; vocação acadêmica; entendimento da atuação profissional em áreas como marketing, finanças e outras; responsabilidade por gerir e se relacionar com pessoas; ativismo político. iii) Técnicos – sentido para a vida. Confirma assim, que as estruturas estabelecidas na EA contribuíram para a formação de um novo habitus, considerando os efeitos e os espaços de possibilidades desse campo social, da reprodução, do capital cultural, da conversão do olhar percebida em todos os atores sociais a ela vinculados. / The present research aimed to investigate the creation of a new habitus from the history and memories of the School of Administration (EA) of UFRGS, which completed 20 years in 2016. For that, a documentary and photographic survey of the institution's 20 years was carried out. Of oral history interviews with agents linked to her during this period. The lines were subdivided into the categories: history, memory and habitus and analyzed from the theoretical reference of Pierre Bourdieu and Joel Candau. It was evidenced in the speeches that the field of research demonstrated the practical reasons of all the social relations and interactions with the agents. Changes in the understanding and routing of life from the experiences lived in the academic field have resulted in practical transformations, such as: i) Teachers - application of new methodologies in the classroom; discovery of the role of leader, generator and inspirer of knowledge; respect for student participation in the classroom. ii) Students - self-discovery; professional and personal growth; academic vocation; understanding of professional performance in areas such as marketing, finance and others; responsibility for managing and relating to people; political activism. iii) Technicians - meaning for life. It confirms that the structures established in the EA have contributed to the formation of a new habitus, considering the effects and spaces of possibilities of this social field, of reproduction, of cultural capital, of the conversion of the perceived look in all social actors linked to it

No contexto organizacional das universidades federais de ensino superior registra-se uma expansão das políticas públicas para educação superior e um significativo aumento de investimentos, cujos impactos encontram-se refletidos nas instâncias tecnológicas, científicas e culturais. A análise de como esse processo se insere na estrutura organizacional dessas instituições frente às novas demandas, especialmente no que diz respeito à gestão de documentos e as políticas arquivísticas, considerando ainda a cultura organizacional, em consonância com os aparatos legais, - a Lei nº 8.159/1991 (Lei de Arquivos), e Lei nº 12.527/2011 (Lei de Acesso à Informação) - é o principal componente dessa pesquisa. Nesse sentido, quatro Universidades Federais de Ensino Superior foram objetos desse estudo que tem como base três eixos temáticos: (1) cultura organizacional, (2) gestão de documentos e políticas arquivísticas e (3) implantação de sistemas de arquivos. Objetivando refletir sobre as políticas arquivísticas no âmbito de três universidades federais, compará-las com o contexto do Arquivo Central da UFRGS e entender a relação entre a cultura organizacional e tais políticas nos locais pesquisados, buscou-se compreender as experiências arquivísticas no âmbito da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, da Universidade Federal de Goiás e Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro. Para tal foi utilizado uma abordagem qualitativa e de estudos de caso, da observação in loco e de entrevistas semiestruturadas. Como parte dos procedimentos registra-se a análise dos documentos normativos das instituições, bem como dos órgãos cuja competência está relacionada à gestão de documentos no âmbito das universidades. Os resultados das análises desses contextos permitiram relacioná-los à cultura organizacional presente nesses ambientes, bem como analisar as práticas arquivísticas da Divisão de Documentação e do Arquivo Central da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. Este é responsável hoje pela gestão documental do acervo, representado, em sua maioria, por processos administrativos, datados de 1934 a 2016. Os resultados denotam ainda uma intrínseca relação entre práticas arquivísticas e a cultura organizacional pertinente aos ambientes administrativos universitários, ao mesmo tempo em que dispôs de subsídios para a elaboração de um regulamento para o Arquivo Central, delimitando suas competências e visando fortalecê-lo como o gestor e o disseminador das políticas arquivísticas institucionais na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. / In the organizational context of higher education federal universities it registers an expansion of public policies for higher education and a significant increase of investments, which impacts are found reflected in technological, scientific and cultural instances. The analysis of how this process fits into the organizational structure of these institutions facing new demands, especially regarding records management and archival policies, also considering the organizational culture in consonance with the legal apparatus, - Law number 8,159 / 1991 (Archival Act) and Law number 12,527 / 2011 (Information Access Act) - is the main component of this research. In this way, four higher education federal universities were subject of this study which is based on three thematic axes: (1) organizational culture, (2) records management and archivistic policies and (3) archive system implantation. Aiming to understand the archivistic experiences within the scope of three federal universities, compare them with the context of UFRGS Central Archive (Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul state) and understand the relation between the organizational culture and such policies in the researched places. It sought to understand the archivistic experiences in the scope of the Federal University of Santa Maria, the Federal University of Goiás and the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro State. In order to do it has been use a qualitative approach and case studies, on-site observation and semi-structured interviews. As part of the procedures it registers the analysis of the normative documents of the institutions, as well as the agencies which competence is related to document management within the scope of the universities. The results from the analyses of these contexts allowed us to relate them to the organizational culture present in these environments, as well as analyzing the archivistic practices from the Documentation Division and the Central Archive of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul State. This is responsible today for records management of the holdings, represented mostly by administrative proceedings, dated from 1934 to 2016. The results show, still, an intrinsic relation between the archivistic practices and the organizational culture relevant to the universities administrative environments, meanwhile providing subsidies to elaborate an instruction manual for the Central Archive, delimiting its competences and hoping to strengthen as the manager and the disseminator of policies at institutional archivistic in the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.

O presente estudo tem como tema a digitalização de acervos arquivísticos. O ambiente digital, largamente utilizado para a criação de novos documentos, pode servir também aos acervos em suporte papel, considerando que a migração para o meio digital seja capaz de contribuir em aspectos como a preservação, a difusão e o acesso aos documentos. Nesse sentido, o problema apresentado é: como tratar os acervos documentais em suporte papel custodiados pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul? Objetivando investigar uma forma de preservação e difusão dos documentos do Arquivo Central, realizou-se uma pesquisa exploratória em duas instituições dedicadas ao tratamento de acervos através da digitalização. Por meio da observação sistemática e com a aplicação de entrevistas semi-estruturadas, foi possível estabelecer um contato mais direto com os ambientes investigados. O referencial teórico aborda temas como memória, patrimônio e cibercultura, a partir de suas relações com os documentos arquivísticos, fundamentando-se em autores como Halbwachs, Dodebei e Lévy. Assim, a memória é apresentada com base em sua ligação com os documentos, desenvolvendo então a noção de memória documental. O conceito de patrimônio é apresentado a partir da perspectiva dos documentos serem reconhecidos como patrimônio cultural da Universidade, através do trabalho de avaliação documental. O ciberespaço, por sua vez, é abordado como um espaço para difusão e preservação digital da memória documental. Sendo esta uma pesquisa qualitativa de natureza aplicada, o produto final apresentado é um projeto para a implantação de um laboratório de digitalização no Arquivo Central da UFRGS. Como resultado, a conjectura de que os acervos documentais da UFRGS poderão se valer do Laboratório de Digitalização como uma nova perspectiva para preservação e difusão de seus conteúdos. / The present study has as a theme the scanning of documents holdings. The digital environment, largely use for the creation of new documents, could be use also to the holdings on paper support, considering that the migration for the digital media be able to contribute on aspects as preservation, diffusion and access to the documents. Such conjuncture could be use as well for the documents collections on paper support, considering that the migration for the digital environment be capable to contribute on aspects such as preservation, the diffusion and the access to documents. In this sense, the problem presented is how to treat the documental collections on paper support guard by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul? Aiming investigate the form of preservation of Central Archive’s documents, has been done a exploratory research on two institutions dedicated to the treatment of the documents collections through the scanning or the papers. Trough the systematic observation and with the application of semi-structured interviews, was possible to make a direct contact with the object of this study. The theoretical reference approach theme such as memory, patrimony and cyber culture, from the relation with these documents, has been based on authors like Halbwaches, Dodebei and Lévy. Thus, memory is showed with base on its connection with the documents, developing then the notion of documental memory. The concept of patrimony is presented from the perspective of the documents to be acknowledge as University’s heritage patrimony, through the work of documental evaluation. The cyberspace, for its turn, is approach as a qualitative research of apply nature, the final product is showed as a project for the implantation of a scanning laboratory on the UFRGS’ Central Archive. Evidenciou-se nas falas que o campo de pesquisa demonstrou as razões práticas de todas as relações sociais e interações junto aos agentes. As mudanças de entendimento e encaminhamento de vida a partir das experiências vivenciadas no campo acadêmico resultaram em transformações práticas, tais como: i) Docentes – aplicação de novas metodologias em sala de aula; descoberta do papel de líder, gerador e inspirador de conhecimento; maior respeito à participação dos alunos em sala de aula. ii) Discentes – descoberta de competências próprias; crescimento profissional e pessoal; vocação acadêmica; entendimento da atuação profissional em áreas como marketing, finanças e outras; responsabilidade por gerir e se relacionar com pessoas; ativismo político. iii) Técnicos – sentido para a vida. Confirma assim, que as estruturas estabelecidas na EA contribuíram para a formação de um novo habitus, considerando os efeitos e os espaços de possibilidades desse campo social, da reprodução, do capital cultural, da conversão do olhar percebida em todos os atores sociais a ela vinculados. / The present research aimed to investigate the creation of a new habitus from the history and memories of the School of Administration (EA) of UFRGS, which completed 20 years in 2016. For that, a documentary and photographic survey of the institution's 20 years was carried out. Of oral history interviews with agents linked to her during this period. The lines were subdivided into the categories: history, memory and habitus and analyzed from the theoretical reference of Pierre Bourdieu and Joel Candau. It was evidenced in the speeches that the field of research demonstrated the practical reasons of all the social relations and interactions with the agents. Changes in the understanding and routing of life from the experiences lived in the academic field have resulted in practical transformations, such as: i) Teachers - application of new methodologies in the classroom; discovery of the role of leader, generator and inspirer of knowledge; respect for student participation in the classroom. ii) Students - self-discovery; professional and personal growth; academic vocation; understanding of professional performance in areas such as marketing, finance and others; responsibility for managing and relating to people; political activism. iii) Technicians - meaning for life. It confirms that the structures established in the EA have contributed to the formation of a new habitus, considering the effects and spaces of possibilities of this social field, of reproduction, of cultural capital, of the conversion of the perceived look in all social actors linked to it
