1	Utvärdering av kalenderöverföringsstandarden CAP Thell, Mats January 2003 (has links) <p>Vi lever i ett stressigt samhälle där allt skall fungera och tiden är emot oss för det mesta. Ifall det gick att schemalägga alla händelser som skall och borde göras i ett gemensamt kalendersystem så skulle det förenkla situationen för många personer, som skall träffas eller andra händelser som kan uppstå. I detta arbete undersöks det ifall en ny öppen standard för kalenderöverföringar skulle fungera, samt om den är tillräckligt bra för att användas, eller om den skall undvikas. Inom arbetet implementeras en prototyp som baseras på denna kalenderöverföringsstandard. Den prototyp som framtogs, tillhandahåller de grundläggande funktionerna i CAP, jämförs med Microsoft Exchange. Uppdraget gick ut på att synkronisera tre olika systems kalenderfunktioner så att det som skrivs i en kalender syns i alla. För att klara det behövde vi först undersöka hur de tre systemen fungerade vilket delade upp arbetet i en utredningsfas och en konstruktionsfas. Utredningsfasen ledde till att vi begränsade arbetet till att endast omfatta en envägskommunikation mellan två av systemen i konstruktionsfasen. Detta arbete beskrivs i detalj i uppsatsen.</p> / <p>Our paper is about the work we performed for Prevas AB in Karlstad. The assignment was to synchronize three different systems calendar functions, so that what’s going into one calendar is visible in all the others. To manage this we needed first to survey how the three systems functioned, which split the work into an examination phase and a construction phase. The examination phase led to us limiting the work to only concern a one-way communication between two of the systems in the construction phase. 5	Utveckling av webbaserad Outlookklient kopplad mot Exchangeserver Holten, Pär January 2012 (has links) Ett nystartat företag ville skapa en hemsida som såg ut och fungerade som Outlook. Denna sida skulle senare kunna kopplas till Exchange eller något liknande e-postserverprogram. Under arbetets gång så installerades en labbserver med Exchange. När servern var färdig så skulle det gå att koppla upp företaget Teleriks webmaillösning för att sedan kolla om den klarar av Exchange. Målet var att en sida liknande Outlook, till utseende samt funktion, skulle skapas. Denna sida skulle sedan kopplas ihop med en fungerande Exchange server. En fungerande Exchange server samt hemsida kopplades ihop men det uppstod problem då betrott certifikat saknades/fungerade inte. 6	Room management system : Integrating Raspberry Pi with Graph API Parsa, Parnia, Hedlund, Björn January 2019 (has links) The increase in connectivity and use of “smart” devices offers companies new possibilities to improve their efficiency by using digitalization. For example, booking of meeting rooms have gone from using a paper calendar to electronic booking. To enable both digital remote booking, as well as being able to book a room directly (as with a paper calendar) this project has developed a room manager system. The room manager is a device that provides a quick and intuitive way for employees to handle conference room booking. The project was started on behalf of the company ÅF, who would like to optimize their use of conference rooms. The result was a fully functional touchscreen device built using a Raspberry Pi. The room manager integrates successfully with the existing calendar system used at ÅF and meets all the requirements set by ÅF. The device will be used to determine if a room manager system is worth investing in and may be used as a foundation for continued development. The paper first describes the issue theoretically. It is defined and characterized by cloud computing as the current major trend in the implementation of information technology. A description of individual actors and models emerging in cloud computing, its brief history, related technology underlying or expand cloud computing, client issues and reference architecture model. It also includes an analysis of the current state offered cloud services, compared to open source and proprietary solutions, and was implemented insight into the upcoming National Strategy for Cloud Computing The case study move e-mail system to a hosted private cloud is demonstrated by the complexity of the entire process and the rugged environment of government institutions. On the basis of theoretical knowledge and case studies in the last chapter proposes a model that would in general help in deciding whether the institutions of government information systems migrate to cloud computing, which is also in line with the forthcoming national strategy.
8	Zefektívnenie prenosu elektronickej pošty pomocou pluginu pre Microsoft Exchange / Efficient Transport of Electronic Mail with Microsoft Exchange Plugin Jakubis, Tomáš January 2016 (has links) This project discusses optimization of e-mail and SMTP traffic in proprietary product of Microsoft Exchange 2013 in regard of marine industry. The goal is at first to analyze the requirements of this service on slow and unreliable network connections, SMTP traffic and then the product itself. Afterwards it defines specification for the final product and prepares the test environment. Design and implementation of transport agent using Exchange Management Shell is described for synchronization of two installations of Microsoft Exchange 2013; and focuses on emerged problems during the development, discusses different approaches and possible solutions. Testing shows various shortcomings of found solution. Finally, analysis of final solution shows possible future improvements and a need of security upgrade before applying to production environment.
