Hajo, Medya, Bunjaku, Besnik January 2005 (has links)

Montenegro's Accession to European Union

Ivanović, Mijo January 2015 (has links)
All policies, initiatives and ideas of accession countries are directed towards the European Union. With the safe development and enlargement, European Union is the world's center of peace and stability. For Montenegro, as a small open economy in the Western Balkans, which tends to become part of a unique political, economic and cultural market, entrance into the EU is a strategic goal from independence gained in 2006. Within the framework of the process of European integration, Montenegro unifies all resources that are still significantly underdeveloped thus creating better options for their absorption and further development. In accordance with the previous, the key issues that are analyzed in this paper are the following: In what way and at what "speed" is Montenegro working on the process of EU integration? With what kind of problems and challenges Montenegro is facing? What methods in the context of European integration Montenegro is using? To what extent are the solutions optimal and relevant for Montenegro? Key words: integration, candidate, negotiation, accession, Montenegro, European Union

This study analizes the presence of loving and existential questions in the poetic text of autorship music Oswaldo Montenegro in De Passagem album released, in 2011. The goal is to demonstrate how the poetic text captures the identity contemporary subject. Therefore starts the investigation starting from the cancion concept (understood as hybrid category between poetry and melody), made from contributions of Charles Perrone, Paul Zumthor, José Ramos Tinhorão and Sylvia Cyntrão. Follwing, the language concepts and poetic text are examined searching espitemycs subsidies in the categories: spiritual essence by Walter Benjamin, sign by Mikhail Bakhtin, poetry by Octavio Paz and Sylvia Cyntrão and also the imaginary by Gilbert Duran and Sylvia Cyntrão. The writings of Mary Del Priori helps to reflect about the changes in the public and private national level. While Julio Simões and Guacira Louro discuss the concept of sexuality. Using the contributions of Zygmunt Bauman to point the love theme in the songs (with the liquid love concept). Additionally to the insertion of intimacy and desire concepts thought by Anthony Giddens, Cláudia Carvalho, André Lázaro, Comte-Sponville, Octavio Paz, Mary Del Priore; globalization by Eric Hobsbawm and Stuart Hall; hypermodenity by Gilles Lipovetsky. The approach of the existential question uses the writing by Albert Camus in the book Or myth of Sisyphus. The methodological support consulted in the analysis is offered by Maria Luiza Ramos that shows phenomenological reading of textual structure. The author Nelly Novaes Coelho that chew to the morphosyntatic structure of the poetic language as an amplifying the lyric plurivocity and Umberto Eco which guides the extraction of intentional direction of the composition, supported in the triad: intentio operis (poetical intention), intentio autoris (author intention), intentio lectoris (reader intention).

The scholastic and experimental methods in the works of B. G. Feijoo

Ayerbe, J. I. January 1971 (has links)
The conflict between the scholastic and experimental methods in the works of Feijoo is essentially the conflict between traditional and contemporary thought. In this study, therefore, both methods are interpreted in a very wide sense. The scholastic method represents the traditional studies of grammar, rhetoric and logic. The experimental method represents the empirical attitude and the innovations in mathematics that begin in western Europe during the seventeenth century. The first chapter of this study defines the conflict between tradition and innovation as it appears in Feijoo's first published work, Apologia del Scepticismo Medico. The second chapter examines the traditional aspects of Feijoo's thought as they manifest themselves in his use of scholastic logic. The third chapter considers Feijoo’s debt to the innovations of Descartes. The fourth chapter examines his approach to traditional physics, modern physics and the experimental method. The final chapter shows how Feijoo's attitude to ancient and modern thought appears in his aesthetic theories. / Arts, Faculty of / French, Hispanic, and Italian Studies, Department of / Graduate

Joining the Community: Montenegro's Path to NATO Accession / Joining the Community: Montenegro's Path to NATO Accession

Pavlovic, Nicolas Jako January 2017 (has links)
On 5 June 2017, the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Duško Marković, deposited the instrument of accession to the North Atlantic Treaty of Montenegro in Washington DC, making the accession of this country to the Atlantic Alliance official. Montenegro, one of the smallest of the post-Yugoslav Western Balkans republics, was thus welcomed into the North Atlantic Treaty Organization as its 29th member. This thesis analyzes the process Montenegro has been undergoing throughout its path to NATO accession and the underlying conditions which have impacted this process. It argues that the relationship between Montenegro and NATO, which started in the early 2000's and has been revolving primarily on the integration process, which started soon after the independence of the country in 2006. This integration process has profoundly modified the security and defense sectors in Montenegro, has impacted the politics of the country and is embedded within what has been a larger strategic approach of NATO to the Western Balkans and Central and Eastern Europe in general. The Montenegrin integration process, as analyzed in this thesis, is considered to have revolved around three dynamics. The first has been an endogenous dynamic linked to the political attitude of the Montenegrin Government since the 1990's which has put...
