Food, growth, sex ratio and depth distribution of perch (Perca fluviatilis L.) were studied in Milada Lake, Most Lake and Barbora Lake. These lakes were artificialy created after a coal mining. Sex ratio and depth distribution were also compared with data gathered from Vír Reservoir and Římov Reservoir. Fish designed for the research were captured by gillnets. Age analysis was carried out by otolite scanning. Food, growth and depth distribution were analysed with consideration of size and sex of the fish.

This master's thesis deals with the Great Strike in the city of Most and its depiction in two state and one regional periodicals, namely Rudé právo, Lidové noviny and Brüxer Zeitung. The Great Strike was a significant display of miners' discontent, which went beyond the region's borders and influenced everyday life in the whole country. The extent and consequences of this protest action were unique at that time. My objective was to find out what depiction there is in the then periodicals. The thesis contains a brief historical insight into economic crisis and media situation in Czechoslovakia at the end of the 20th century. In the fist section, there are described economic aspects which induced problems not only in mining but in the whole economy. The activities of trade unions in the First Czechoslovak republic are also included. The second section describes in detail the development of the Great Strike, including events preceeding it. The third section is dedicated to the region of Most and its particularities in the industrial and social fields. The fourth section is focused on methodology and establishment of research questions. This thesis deals with the analysis of the Branding Strategy, Strategic Brand Management and Innovation opportunities of the company OP papírna, s.r.o., producing thinprint paper which is applied as patient information leaflet in pharmaceutical industry for both the Czech and foreign markets. Author of the thesis studies creation and success of the OP brands, current Branding Strategy, following technical service and awareness of the OP products in comparison with the competition. Author also analyzed current condition of the firm using MOST analysis, market development using PESTE analysis and innovative opportunities for the company and SWOT analysis. In that case he answered beforehand-asked questions.

The purpose of the master thesis is the design of the concrete highway bridge by European standards. The highway is situated on two independent prestressed load-bearing structures with cross-section area of constant dimensions over its length. The bridge deck is built on a falsework considering its proportions and obstacles under the bridge. The thesis contains the design and the assessment of the load-bearing structure in longitudinal and transverse direction including the calculation of cross beams and an anchorage zone.

The object of this diploma thesis is the design and review of a bridge on a ramp. The bridge is part of a junction between the expressway R35 and the highway D1. Three case studies were made. The bridge construction is solved as continuous beam with six spans. The resulting design was made of prestressed concrete according to valid standards. The gradual construction was taken into consideration.

The diploma thesis deals with the design of the motorway bridge over the II / 464 road between Butovice-Bílovec. For the bridging design four variants were made, from which a variant of the slab with longitudinal extensions was selected for further processing. The design assessment was performed for the ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state according to valid standards. Determination of internal forces was performed on the model developed in Scia Engineer 18.0.

This diploma thesis is about the post-war retribution on all its levels, from international military tribunals in Nuremberg and Tokyo to work of two extraordinary people's courts in Plzeň and Most, of whose activity the text applies. The text aims on women, because previous theses were mostly focused on men, which hold the more important position in the Nazi regime. On account of different roles of both sexes there is a diverse structure of committed crimes - the most frequented type of crimes for men were crimes against the state, while in a women's case it was denunciation. This fact could be partly explained by lesser possibilities of women for direct using of a repressive apparatus of the regime. The aim of the thesis is to bring in a comparison of activity of both mentioned courts against women. Main difference between those two regions is that the most of the Plzeň region was in Czech inland, but the Most area was located in the borderlands with a German majority. We could say that the result for this fact was higher rigidity of the Extraordinary People's Court in Plzeň that exceeded the second court in both percentage of sentences and rigidity of punishments. 1990 - 2008 Fertility factors in the disctrict of Most in 2000-2010 period Abstract The objective of this study was to find causes of regional fertility differences and context with social and economic indicators. Then to find situation of district of Most in regional comparison and social and economic causes of fertility developement in this district in 2000-2010 period. In first descriptive part there was made the comparative analysis of age structure and fertility indicators in Czech republic, Ústí region and district of Most. The result is different values of the fertility indicators (intensity and timing) and also younger age structure. In the second part were found social and economic factors of regional fertility differences and factors in district of Most with multivariate statistical methods. The cluster analysis confirmed the differences of district of Most and border of North Bohemia too. For use factor analysis and canonical correlation analysis the conclusion was the important factor of regional differences is especially education, but also availability and quality of housing, economic level.
