This master thesis deals with alteration of intersection of roads I/43 and II/150 near Boskovice, with focus on safety. Aim of the thesis was to decrease accident frequency in this location, while keeping the traffic fluent. First step was the evaluation of recorded speed and intensity on this crossroad and comparing it to the causes of accidents. Second step was to design solutions for this crossroad, and for one of these solutions was developed a design documentation.

Main structural system is composed of a spatial strut-frame structures. The bridge carries an important railway stations between Usti nad Labem Západ, Usti nad Labem Střekov. Part of the proposal is a footbridge for pedestrians.

It discusses different evaluation surveys and its influence on later evaluation of the bridges. In this thesis there is included static evaluation finding supports at one of reinforced concrete bridges. Practical part is complemented by the necessary theoretical part, which deals with exploring bridges, ways of their implementation, and a summary of the most commonly used diagnostic methods for bridges.

One of the important reasons for the choice of the thesis topic are increasing requirements from the persons interested in low-energy, passive or even houses with almost zero energy consumption. During decreasing of the energy demand is within the framework of the idea of sustainable construction not only required to decrease the total energy demand of the buildings, search and solve the critical spots in the building jacketing, but also to use the secondary raw materials as full-value substitutions for commonly used products from the primary raw materials. The thesis tries to contribute to the possible usage of polymeric wastes in building industry. In an early stage of the thesis the main and partial targets together with the consecutive steps leading to their fulfilment were set. Selection of the suitable secondary raw materials, discussion with the specialists, initial sample mixing, finding their thermally – technical characteristics, press mould and fire kiln acquisition was carried out during the stage. The next phase is focused on the application of the products made from the secondary raw materials to the building envelope. The products are moulded according to the thermally – technical properties. Performed moulding approved that the products are fully functional and after reaching the required value of heat conductivity coefficient products eliminate imperfections of the solutions used at present. Strapping product for the threshold door joint is registered at Industrial Property Office of the Czech Republic and at European Patent Office at the same time. Recycled materials put into production represent possibilities how to decrease number of acquired virgin materials, need of primary energy and how to decrease risks connected to the waste disposal. Society is starting positively approaching to the products that are partially or fully produced from the secondary raw materials. This master's thesis focuses on development of mini-applications for portal environments called portlets. Portal is an alternative type of web information systems used to dynamic portlet management, content personalization and aggregation of content from different data sources. The aim of this thesis is to try an alternative combination of technologies of portals, portlets and portlet bridges. This thesis is one of the first demonstrations of the described combination of technologies and will be used as an educational material by Red Hat company for development of portlets on their portal GateIn. The set of portlets manages user calendars, tasks and contacts. The theoretical part of this thesis compares existing tools for time management and mentions standards for data exchange in this domain. Subsequently it describes all important technologies used in this thesis. The practical part describes the design and the implementation of portlets and evaluates results of this work. The development of the described set of portlets proved that combination of technologies of portals, portlets and portlet birdges is fast and appropriate way how to develop information systems.

The master's thesis object is to design a road bridge over the Jihlava river. Three studies are proposed from which pre-stressed two-beam structure with three spans variant is chosen. A detailed structural analysis elaborated and the bridge is analysed according to ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state. Drawing documentation and visualisation were made. The structure design is based on the European standarts.
