This essay has examined the social-democratic parties in both Sweden and Denmark and their political development regarding immigration policy during the period 2014-2018. This period saw a large number of refugees who came to Europe, which led to stricter immigration policy across Europe. The Danish migration policy has been stricter than the Swedish migration policy. Denmark is therefore interesting to compare with Sweden because they are a country similar to Sweden in many ways. The questions in this essay is following: - How has the Social Democrats migration policy evolved in Sweden compared to Denmark from 2014 to 2018? - How can these parties' migration policy be explained? The questions are answered by comparing the Social Democrats in Sweden and the Social Democrats in Denmark, which has been done according to the model Most Similar System Design (MSSD) with the control variables historical background, ideological, financial situation and political system. The explanatory variable is political culture and the dependent variable is a migration policy. The empirical material has then been compared in accordance with MSSD and opposed the theory othering. The conclusions of this essay are based on the fact that migration policy is different due to political culture.

Title of the diploma thesis: Compensation of victims of the most serious crimes Abstract This diploma thesis deals with the compensation of victims of the most serious crimes in international law. These crimes present a violation of jus cogens and their consequence is erga omnes obligation. At the same time, it is extremely difficult to compensate these crimes from the reason of mass or systematic character of their committing. The goal of the thesis is to analyse its research questions and to respond to them. These research questions are contractual and also customary regulation of content of the responsibility duty, with emphasis on the question of whether it is possible to deem the compensation of victims of the most serious crimes as part of the responsibility duty of relevant subjects, mainly states, and furthermore, the question of which resources can serve to effective compensation of victims of the most serious crimes. The thesis is divided into four chapters, the first chapter deals with historical genesis of the responsibility for the most serious crimes and clarifies fundamental terms, whereas following chapters correspond to research questions of the thesis. This Master Thesis deals with the issue of crime and the perception of safety on the example of a housing estate area. In this case, it is a case study of the housing estate Černý Most. The basic principle is to provide a subjective perspective on the perceptions of safety of the inhabitants in the investigated area and to monitor the issue of what personal experience these residents realistically have with crime. The Thesis also seeks to identify the places that residents consider to be dangerous for them, which evoke the feeling of fear in them and to find out how their behavior changes in these places. Where applicable, to identify the similarities of these places, to trace if there are similar characteristics or whether it is the social and physical environment of the settlement itself that adds to the increased sense of fear. Moreover, work of the police and prevention against crime in the given location will be mentioned.

Os resultados obtidos com o cálculo clássico da soroprevalência, o método da sorovariedade mais provável (SMP) com 24 e oito antígenos e três variações do SMP foram comparados por meio da intersecção entre os intervalos de confiança de 95%. As concordâncias entre sorovariedades nos resultados da SAM indicam que a maioria das coaglutinações ocorre dentro do esperado pelo acaso e que não é possível atribuí-las apenas a reações cruzadas. O SMP resultou em soroprevalências menores que as obtidas pelo método clássico. Quanto mais antígenos são utilizados na SAM, menores serão a soroprevalências para cada sorovariedade, demonstrando que a bateria de antígenos interfere nos resultados. As diferentes formas de calcular o resultado do SMP mostraram ser coeficientes diferentes, que podem confundir os leitores, caso não sejam bem definidos nos trabalhos. Conclui-se que o método clássico de cálculo da soroprevalência seria o mais indicado, respeitando-se as limitações da SAM na conclusão das pesquisas. / Aiming to analyze the different ways of interpreting the results of epidemiological research with Leptospira spp. in four host species, the agreement between the results in the microscopic agglutination test (MAT) against 24 serovars was tested by the Kappa coefficient. The results with the classic seroprevalence method, the most likely serovar method (SMP) with 24 and eight antigens and three variations of the SMP were compared by the intersection of the 95% confidence intervals. Agreements between serovars in the results of MAT indicate that most co-agglutinations occur randonly, and cross-reactions can not assign as the only cause of them. The SMP resulted in lower seroprevalences than those obtained by the classical method. The more antigens are used in MAT, lower the seroprevalences for each serovar, demonstrating that the antigen battery interferes with the results. The different ways of calculating the result of the SMP proved to be different coefficients, which may confuse readers, if they are not well defined in the research. It was concluded that the classic seroprevalence would be the most appropriate method of calculation, respecting the limitations of the MAT in the research's conclusions.

The newest geochemical and sedimentological studies of the Libkovice Member in the Most Basin revealed existence of a sedimentary cyclicity that is controlled by the change of Earth's orbital parameters and the shape of its orbit. The main objective of this study is to verify the hypothesis whether there is also a similar cyclical record in strata underlying the Libkovice Member. This interval located in top of the Holešice Member consists of lacustrine sediments of a smaller extent represented by the so-called Břešťany Clays. The aim of the diploma thesis was a geochemical analysis of the concentration of selected elements measured by a mobile XRF device from the drilling cores in the stratigraphic interval between the roof of the Main Coal and the base of the Libkovice Member. Also made was a litological description of boreholes and sedimentary texture of selected clay samples. A mineralogical analysis was performed using the X-ray diffraction method. Usefulness of the XRF mobile device was proven especially for the heavier elements (e.g., Fe and Sr) and less for the lighter elements K and Ti. Nevertheless, it was possible to assign the analysed sediments to the already published chemostratigraphic subdivision of the Most Basin and to confirm its validity. Utbildning skapar de grundläggande förutsättningarna för invandrare att integreras ekonomiskt och socialt i ett samhälle. Denna uppsats undersöker vilken roll integrationspolitisk inriktning  har i integrationsprocessen inom utbildning genom att jämföra två länder där frågan om integration ständigt är aktuell, Sverige och Australien. Studien följer en mest-lika design som bygger på att Sverige och Australien antas vara mycket lika vad gäller integrationspolitiken inom utbildning men trots detta påvisar olika integrationsutfall. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka eventuella skillnader i ländernas integrationspolitiska inriktning som kan tänkas förklara de olika integrationsutfallen. Som metod för att fullgöra syftet används både kvalitativ textanalys och intervjuer. Uppsatsen når slutsatsen att Australien i en högre grad en Sverige tycks fokusera på integrationspolitik avseende interkulturellt lärande och att detta i sin tur utgör en möjlig förklaring till att Australien påvisar bättre integrationsutfall än Sverige.
