Nevoliči ve volbách do Poslanecké sněmovny České republiky 2013 a jejich motivace k volební neúčasti / Non-voters in elections to Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic 2013 and their motivation to electoral absence

Nováková, Eliška January 2015 (has links)
The issue of this thesis is to chart the motivations of non-voters for not attending the election to the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic. This election had the second lowest turnout in the history of the Czech Republic in this type of election which is considered by the citizens to be the most important type of election. A decreasing turnout can be a threat to a proper functioning of democracy. In the theoretical part of the paper, the theory of functioning democracy and the theory explaining the decreasing turnout are introduced. According to several studies, there is a difference between younger and older generation, so I decided to explore this difference. Therefore, fifteen semi-structured interviews with non-voters have been conducted to detect the cause of this situation. Collected sample contains nine younger non-voters and six older ones. The data were analyzed according to the rules of grounded theory. The product of this analysis is a typology of non-voters and their main motivations for non-voting and a scheme of participating factors. The result of the analysis suggests that there is a difference between younger and older generation. Keywords: Non-voters, election behavior, politics, motivations

Havlíčková, Radka January 2012 (has links)
This Diploma thesis thematizes the problem of students' time perspective and its diagnostics. The whole text is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical with emphasis on the theoretical part. The theoretical part will look upon the conceptions of time perspective. Ideas of time perception, the influence of time on human behavior and a connection of time pespective with an achievement motivation are presented. The personality-motivational concept of time perspective by European expert of motivational psychology Jopeph Nuttin are analyzed. From the domestic authors I describe the concept of perpsective orientation by Isabella Pavelkova. These theories are completed with information gained by Rayner, Gjesme and Fraisse. The important section is a chapter where diagnostics and specifics methods are presented. The empirical section contains the results of research provided by 5 classes of high school students with an eight year (or four year) study plan in April 2012 in Caslav. Angažovanost zaměstnanců / Employee Engagement

Štillerová, Aneta January 2012 (has links)
Employee engagement is a recent work attitude that was introduced among practitioners in the 90's of last century. Academic researchers accepted this new concept reservedly and discuss the actual contribution of the term to the work motivation theory. There can be identified several different approaches toward defining the term in the academic literature. Yet there is no general agreement on one single approach. At the same time the concept is a subject to objections, that it brings nothing new and extra above the existing work concepts, especially work satisfaction and organizational commitment. In my thesis I set myself an objective to answer a question whether the concept of employee engagement introduces new aspects of strong identification and activation to the work motivation theory. In the second chapter I compare employee engagement to the established work attitudes, namely to work satisfaction, organizational commitment, job involvement and organizational citizenship behaviour. By compilation of theoretical resources I demonstrate that employee engagement is distinct from the other work attitudes by its strong degree of employee identification and activation. Afterwards I define engagement on its own and strive for systematic classification of its concepts. Via compilation of theoretical...

Vaňkátová, Věra January 2011 (has links)
Resumé Human resources management in a small enterprise In my work I deal with the topic of human resources management in a small enterprise. In the first chapter I deal with the definition of the concept and historical development of this area. The second chapter is devoted to circumstances regarding the origin and termination of the employment. Human resources management in this stage begins with planning. Planning means determining the needs of the organization, especially in planning the required number of suitable, adequately trained and properly motivated employees at the right time. The planning is continued by recruitment. This phase ensures that the vacancies will attract sufficient number of suitable candidates. To identify which of the candidates is best suited to fill the job, you need to invite suitable candidates to the selection interview. The aim of the selection process is to find a suitable candidate with whom the contract will be concluded. An important area is the protection of personal data. The end of this chapter deals with the circumstances of termination of employment as defined in § 48-73 LC. The last chapter covers the main areas of human resources management in a small business. In the subsection "Performance management and evaluation" is devoted to the importance of implementing...
