This thesis describes cooperation of one specific international team, with emphasis on different cultural backgrounds of individual members. The aim of this work is to analyze mutual communication, conflict resolutions and cooperation of a particular team composed of members of the Slovak, Czech and South African nationality. Then suggest improvements in their cooperation. The aim of the work is also to compare personal cultural preferences of individual members with Hofstede's dimensions characterizing national culture of countries they represent. The practical part consists of questionning specific team of international IT Company, operating in Slovakia, Košice. Used research method was questionnare consisting of closed as well as opened questions. The results of the research are specific recommendations for improving the cooperation of the team.

This thesis deals with the evaluation of educational outcomes in multicultural education in elementary schools. The theoretical part of this thesis in its content focuses on the characteristics of multiculturalism, development and characteristics of multicultural education in the Czech republic and abroad. Also characterizes the possible variables that influence the effectiveness of the implementation of cross-cutting theme of multicultural education into the school curriculum. The last theoretical chapter presents possible methods for evaluating learning outcomes in multicultural education. Practical part is directed to the preparation of evaluation tools designed to streamline the implementation of inclusive characteristics of multicultural education in schools, and the possibility to verify the development of multicultural competencies of teachers and pupils.

The aim of this thesis is to examine a degree of tolerance of students of selected secondary schools in the region to ethnic communities. It encounters and considers factors that affect and shape their attitudes. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with analysing and explaining of these terms - multicultural society, development of multicultural society, migration, ethnic community, characteristics of ethnic communities in the Czech Republic, culture, and traditions, coexistence with ethnic communities and integration. In the research part, it concerns with processing of survey attitudes of high school students from ethnic communities, with a focus on the Islamic community, and the current immigration crisis. The investigation focuses on the personal attitudes of students and their knowledge, both through multicultural education at school and through the media and social networks, which now play a major role in shaping the attitudes of young people. The topic of the thesis is mapping the issue of multicultural education at primary schools. The main aim is to penetrate the current structures, to assess the possibilities of the teacher's work in the school environment and to find other ways of multicultural education of pupils in relation to the findings. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the legal environment of the issue at the level of the Czech Republic and the anchoring of multicultural education in curricular documents. It describes possible ways of thinking and approaches in contemporary intercultural education as well. Multikulturní výchova v mateřské škole / Multiculturale education in nursery school

This diploma thesis is focused on the way and realisation of multicultural training at nursery schools as well as on preschool children prejudices, children noticing ethnic differences among their peers and it also deals with prosocial behaviour of children who are finishing their preschool education. Theoretical part covers general level of the subject, which is multicultural training at preschool institutions in relation to the general educational plan for nursery schools. It also deals with questions of the origin of prejudices of preschool children and their educational rehabilitation. It determines the age in which children start to notice ethnic differences among their peers and the effects of these differences. Practical part deals with testing of chosen respondents who are finishing preschool education in two classes of different multicultural span and it also investigates the form of specific steps of multicultural education on a sample of nursery schools. The results bring information about prosocial behaviour and possible prejudices among children from different classes. The results of similarity and specific steps of multicultural education lead to the case study of good experience.
