This thesis clarifies the role that preschool education plays in the successful inclusion of culturally disadvantaged children into mainstream education. The theoretical part characterizes the conditions of present preschool education with regard to the specifics of families from socially and culturally disadvantaged backgrounds. The research part is aimed at identifying the views and attitudes of parents and teaching staff on the issue and monitoring the progress in the development of children during the educational process in kindergarten.

This thesis brings together facts about one of the first theatre ensembles, which was established after the revolution in 1989 on the Hungarian territory, about The Bárka Theatre. This theatre company still successfully operates today. Some of facts I have collected in form of register. First part of my dissertation talks about the economical, historical a practical facts in the progress of The Bárka Theatre. In the second part I divulge more about some of their performances ,(Nehéz - Hard, Mulatság - Fun, Széntivánéji álom - Midsummer Night's Dream), and about some names, associated with the projects of this group. I have chosen this topic because the Hungarian cultural scene is very interesting and has a rich history but, due to languague barrier, can be very difficult for foreigners to appreciate and understand.

This diploma thesis focuses on the topic of prejudices and stereotypes in education. The theoretical part deals with origin and spread of prejudices and stereotypes, practical examples of these terms and also possible forms of prevention in education. The last chapter, following the practical part, addresses the role of a teacher as a personality as well as a member of pedagogical staff when working with these phenomena. The practical part, containing in-depth interviews, focuses on concrete opinions of teachers as personalities with their own experiences as well as members of pedagogical staff, which are pivotal to development of students' moral values. I concentrate on their personal attitudes and consequent work with these attitudes in teaching. Současné mediální obsahy očima dětských prosumerů / Contemporary media content through the eyes of child prosumers

This thesis contains a qualitative analysis of the Czech children's television program, which the main topic is the presentation of other cultures. The aim is to answer a question, of how other cultures are presented to the children audience within this particular program. The key terms are viewed in the context of the concept of culture and cultural identity as defined by social anthropologists, that is, as a set of meanings and practices that are learned. The findings are also understood and compared to multicultural education, in which a culturally standard approach is seen as the prevailing approach in the researched TV program. Attention is also paid to the representation of children in the media content, and to the structure of children's media content. The qualitative analysis brought the resulting scheme entitled as Strategy of Children's Knowledge, which defines the three phases way in which individual areas and different cultures are presented to the audience. The first introduction is the first step when the viewer gets acquainted with emotionally and ideologically unpainted facts. In the second confrontation phase, the introductory information is further elaborated and related to the main characters, so it is clearly defined as who "we" are and who are "the others". The diploma thesis deals with the employment of people from developing countries in the Czech Republic, with the focus on the workers from Latin America. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the current situation of the employment of Latino American workers in the Czech Republic and to suggest possible ways of improvement. The possible suggestions to improve the situation are general recommendations for the employers with the intention to raise their awareness about the employment of workers coming from different cultural environments. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part represents the literature review. The practical part is based on the qualitative analysis of semi-structured interviews with twelve Latino American respondents that have working experience in the Czech companies.

This final thesis deals with the realisation of multicultural education at public elementary schools and at the lower level of eight-year grammar schools in the Czech Republic. In the first part of the thesis I define the most common terms like multiculturalism and multicultural education. Also, I examine the curricular educational documents. In the main part I did a research in schools during the school year 2017/2018 in Central Bohemian Region and in Prague. Here I briefly map the situation at the school and the state of their educational program. I describe the course of the lessons, interviews with the teachers, mostly used methods and the results of the study. In the interviews I ask about the personality of the teacher, their opinion on current status of legislation and multicultural education.
