The thesis is focused on consumer behavior in relation to electric vehicles. In the beginning, the issue of alternatively fuelled vehicle is briefly introduced, including the explanation how this product is supported by the European Union. The next part is devoted to the theoretical background applied in the work. After the theoretical part, there is the literature review followed by both, the qualitative and the quantitative investigation. The results obtained were compared with the results stemming from international research projects. In accordance with the Theory of Diffusion of Innovations, the participants of qualitative survey were labelled as innovators or early adopters, for whom technical knowledge is more important. But on the other hand, for later adopters, the interpersonal relationship is more important, as they can compensate the lack of technical knowledge this way. As follows from the results of qualitative survey, decision-making connected with the acquisition of electric vehicles is influenced by the overall awareness (or knowledge, experience), then by technical characteristics of the purchase together with economic factors and by the perceived expectations of other people. Člověk a město - filosofické a kulturně-antropologické aspekty problému / Man and the City - philosophical and cultural-anthropological aspects of the problem

Panoušková, Markéta January 2016 (has links)
This dissertation thesis focuses on the philosophical aspects of the relationship of Man toward the city. The main methods of the work are interpretation of texts connected with the city and a philosophically inspired analysis of the bond of Man with the city as a space and time constructed, inhabited and shared by humans, and with its experienced phenomena. First of all it presents the method by which the theme of the city has been dealt with by scholars from the field of philosophy and other social sciences. We find the theme of the city in the works of a whole range of philosophers: For example, it served J. A. Comenius as a symbol of human situation in life, Michel Foucault as a point of departure for his political-philosophical analysis of power, and Emmanuel Lévinas for his discourse on culpability, punishment and responsibility. In order to understand the phenomenon of the city, observations from sociologists, architects, town planners and historians of architecture are also important. Moreover, in their works it is possible to find overlaps into philosophical thought, for example Bernard Lepetit contributes to the theme of the temporality of the city with the concept of the "trace", whilst Jan Gehl, through his discourse on the perception of environment and the challenge of applying a human...

Vejnarová, Alena January 2010 (has links)
The Diploma thesis ,Selected aspects of the retail supplier-purchaser relations' defines British grocery retailing. It introduces the reader into legislation which regulates supplier-purchaser relations, particularly the Supermarket Code of Practice and its revised version the Groceries Supply Code of Practice. The analytical part examines the British market at the macroeconomical level, outlines the grocery retailing structure, describes the supply chain, customer behaviour, points out certain pricing and product policy trends and presents subjects which are bonded by the provisions set out in the Groceries Supply Code of Practice. The findings on local market competition and barriers which prevent the entry by a competitor are of a high significance as well. Despite the introduction of legal regulation the supplier-purchaser relations remain unequal and unfair. The thesis proposes a forecast of possible future grocery market development in the United Kingdom.

The territory in question for the design of architectural study is located in the city of Brno-Zidenice, cadastral area of Zidenice, on the left (east) bank of the river Svitava, 2 km east of the historic core. An area of about 4.1 ha is bounded on the south Bubenickova street, on the east side is street Kopernikova, Lazaretni is on the north and on the west side is nameless street, which currently serves as a handler - connecting. The subject of this diploma thesis is the architectural study of the design of the urban spatial structure with intensive use of city urban area, designed in pre-diploma project, which preceded diploma thesis. The meaning this proposal is to achieve higher densities while maintaining quality of life and living environment. The shape of the object´s ground plan based on the area. The shape defined Bubenickova street from the south side and street Kopernikova defined the shape from the east side, which are themselves almost perpendicular. Also the shape is parallel with a very important point territory - the urban spa (architect B. Fuchs, 1931), which is adjacent to the proposed facility and the stresses their importance in terms of architecture. The spatial resolution respects the surrounding buildings. The aim is to release the most western part, which is defined for parking, urban public transportation, entrances to underground garages and green areas. Green area is also located in the northern part of the territory where it is created park with a water feature and tangled hiking trails. From the western and eastern parts of the object is tree-lined because the object is very the close to the surrounding streets. The object is for vehicular traffic completely closed and is only for pedestrians. But it also has a public plaza with green areas and water features for relaxation and wellbeing.
