In the theoretical part are defined basic trade relations, selection and method of evaluation of suppliers, their mode of communication and thoroughly described outsourcing and insourcing. The practical part is a collection of several purchasing activities presenting the advantages of long-term relationships with suppliers customers. Preference is assessed on the basis of time and financial savings.

This master thesis analyses the effect that online influencers have on the shopping behavior of Generation Y. Conclusions will be formed through examining qualitative research, gathered from a sample of Generation Y candidates living in the Czech Republic, in regard to how the candidates perceive influencers and their recommendations. Theories relating to the reliability of influencers, due to paid cooperation, will be studied to determine whether online users prefer classic forms of promotion. Generation Y was selected as there is evidence to suggest they are the last generation to grow up without online influencers present. The emphasis was mainly on their attitudes, opinions and real experiences. This master thesis will be divided into three areas; literature review, methodology and findings. The purpose of the literature review will be to evaluate existing theories and allow conclusions to be produced from the chosen research topic, electronic resources and professional articles were determined as reliable sources. The methodology explains the process of how the data was collected and analysed, primary research of qualitative data was collated via ten semi-structured interviews from carefully selected candidates. Title: The effect of the use of sports celebrities as the reference group on the buying preferences of the young generation in the Prague region Objectives: The main objective of the thesis is to determine through marketing research whether and what effect has the use of sports celebrities in marketing communication of companies as a reference group on the buying preferences of the young generation, so-called Generation Y, in the Prague region. Methods: The thesis used a questionnaire survey and subsequent focus groups. For the creation of the questionnaire is used as a basis the US version of the original questionnaire of the authors BUSH, MARTIN, BUSH (2004). Firstly the questionnaire undergoes a process of transcultural transfer, in which is utilized a modified direct translation and confirmatory factor analysis. This survey includes a sample of 416 respondents who are students of Prague secondary schools and universities. Focus groups are conducted with four groups which counts a total of 41 respondents. Results: The research results show that the use of sports celebrities in marketing communication has no demonstrable effect on the word-of-mouth communication and the switching and complaining behaviour for Generation Y. Methods: The method of written questionnaire is selected for marketing research. The sampling unit is consisted of students from secondary schools and universities in Prague. The students were selected randomly. Results: The results of research have not been clearly demonstrated that the sports celebrities have positive effect on the behavioural intentions of students from secondary schools and universities in Prague. The aim of this thesis is to determine whether there has been a change in buying behavior of customers over the previous two years, when a similar research was done within my bachelor's work done. This thesis is divided into 3 parts. The first part concerns the theoretical description of the decision-making process of customers, defining the types of retail sales and also deals with private-brand and organic food. The second part is devoted to the development of the Czech retail market in the past few years, the current situation on the Czech market and outlines possible future developments. The third section includes a detailed description of the shopping opportunities in the district of Tabor and an evaluation of my research, that was realised on basis of the questionnaire confrontation of obtained results with the data from previous research. The whole thesis is finished by evaluation and summary of the results which have been identified in carried out research. There are suggestions at the end where the observed results could be applied directly in practice.

Title: Comparison of the athletes and blogger influence on the behavioral intentions of secondary school students Objectives: The main objective of this diploma thesis is to compare the influence of athletes and bloggers on the buying preferences of the students of Czech high school through marketing research. Methods: In the thesis are used two interdependent methods. The first of these methods is a questionnaire survey, which includes 508 respondents who were high school students during the survey. 32 respondents separated in two groups attended the second method, which is a focus group. Results: The research results show that athletes influence the behavioral intentions of secondary school students more than bloggers in every researched sphere. The main difference in effectivity is clear from the comparison between both groups by respondents. In the second half there is a project designed for a specific shopping center in Budweis. The project is supported by an online marketing research and its task is to design consultancy and information center. It will be located precisely in shopping center in Budweis and will serve its customers as a place where customers will be able not only to obtain information on sustainable development, but also take the opportunity to learn in this field.

The main aim of the thesis was a comparison buying atmosphere chosen two retail units. The first part of thesis was based on the studied literature, there has been described trade, wholesale, retail and elements of the buying atmosphere. In the second part of thesis were described chosen retail units. The second step was to analyze the data, which were obtained by two methods. The first method was structured interviews with owners of retail units. The second method was a survey that was conducted with customers of the retail units, either face to face or online questioning. Based on these data were compared retail units and created proposals to improve the atmosphere of buying retail units.
