Title: The effect of the use of sports celebrities as the reference group on the buying preferences of the young generation in the Prague region Objectives: The main objective of the thesis is to determine through marketing research whether and what effect has the use of sports celebrities in marketing communication of companies as a reference group on the buying preferences of the young generation, so-called Generation Y, in the Prague region. Methods: The thesis used a questionnaire survey and subsequent focus groups. For the creation of the questionnaire is used as a basis the US version of the original questionnaire of the authors BUSH, MARTIN, BUSH (2004). Firstly the questionnaire undergoes a process of transcultural transfer, in which is utilized a modified direct translation and confirmatory factor analysis. This survey includes a sample of 416 respondents who are students of Prague secondary schools and universities. Focus groups are conducted with four groups which counts a total of 41 respondents. Results: The research results show that the use of sports celebrities in marketing communication has no demonstrable effect on the word-of-mouth communication and the switching and complaining behaviour for Generation Y. This diploma thesis deals with consumer behavior on the market with wedding, wedding planning in the Czech Republic. It focuses on identification of factors which influence consumers and describes this problem. Especially it focuses on ways of search suppliers and purchases. After that we can recommend an effective way of propagation. The main source for analysis of consumer behaviour was a questionnaire survey conducted on sample of 331 respondents. The quantitative survey was supplemented with in-depth interviews (n = 20). The survey results allowed to formulate recommendations on market with wedding and wedding planning.

The main aim of this diploma thesis is to determine the buying atmosphere of the selected business unit and develop suggestions for improvement based on a marketing research. The first part of the thesis is devoted to literary research to define terms like a trade, a wholesale and a customer behaviour. Then a buying atmosphere and her elements are described. In the next part of the thesis is presented the selected wholesaler - Makro in České Budějovice. Information about buying atmosphere, customers and services of Makro are given. The second part of this work focus on the marketing research specifically on the questionnaire survey and an interview with shop manager Ing. Hana Galisová. The data from survey was acquired online and also in person directly in the store. The survey was attended by 254 respondents and their responses were evaluated using graphs.

The aim of the thesis was to analyze shopping behaviour of online supermarket customers in South Bohemia region and to suggests, which strategies could help the company improve its marketing communication. For this thesis was chosen an e-shop with grocery Plná taška ltd. Plná taška is the first e-shop with grocery in South Bohemia. The whole thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. Theoretical part is based on study of scientific literature and especially on more recent internet resources. In theoretical part are described terms such as consumer behaviour, specifics of retailing, e-commerce and details of online sale of food are defined. The practical part includes analyses of buying behaviour in the field of the purchasing grocery online. The analyses are based on results of questionnaire survey with data collection from 404 respondents. Based on the results of research three target groups were defined. For these groups more specific consumer behaviour was determined. Based on this consumer behaviour personas and recommendations for marketing communication for them were defined. The thesis includes proposals of banner, which can be used on social network Facebook.

The main object of my dipoloma work was to analyse consumer`s and shopping behaviour on the market with meat and meat products. Then on the basis of this analysis I should recommend products with consideration of various consumable recommendations to product consumers. For making up this work I have used the study of expert literature as well as the collection of secondary sources. I have obtained the secondary sources by carrying out the questionnaire investigation. From this questionnaire investigation the real consumer`s and shopping manners on the market with meat and meat products in the Czech Republic emerged. I have compiled the informations acquired by the investigation into graphs so that the results were well-arranged. In addition I have analysed the graphs in words. In the next part of my work I was pursueing whether the consumers follow the consumable recommendations concerning meat and meat products consumption. I have compared these recommendations with the research results and I have formulated a concrete consumable recommendation.

This thesis deals with the theme of business analysis of real company -- pharmacy, running a business in market environment of the city of Nymburk. Main focus is on research of actual position of the pharmacy in the local market in context of a new competitor entering the market. The whole thesis is divided into two consistent parts: The first part is a short theoretical introduction to the methods used and general background of the market in the city of Nymburk. The following practical part analyzes business of the company and development of sales of over-the-counter medicine in context of a new competitor entering the market in the period examined for the purpose of this thesis. Methods applied to achieve the the main goals of the thesis are following: the SWOT analysis method, which is used to discover the strengths and weaknesses of the company itself and to define threats and opportunities, based on the market environment. The subsequent method used within research is Balanced Scorecard method which is used to design the Key Performance Indicators for measuring and observing the company's performance and development. Finally data mining methods of shopping basket, segmentation and forecasting were used to analyse trends in over-the-counter medicine sales. All these methods are keystones for formulation of a basic concept for future strategical and tactical decisions.

This thesis deals with the practical implementation of the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Creating Shared Value (CSV) into the business activities of Nestlé Česko, s. r. o. The thesis offers a brief introduction of the two mentioned concepts, their basic principles and implementation process. The application is shown at Nestlé example, this company is devoting to the area of Corporate Social Responsibility and Creating Shared Value for a long time. The thesis provides basic overview of the Nestlé activities in this area. In the second half of this paper are presented the results of the own questionnaire about customers behavior, their decisions, their awareness of CSR and CSV and brands of mentioned company. The aim is to determine whether the implementation of these concepts positively affects consumers and customers when purchasing food products of company Nestlé.

The main goal of this diploma thesis is to prove whether there is a relationship between the willingness to buy and the user product reviews. Sectional questions are related to e.g. the willingness to pay more for the product with a better review, to a satisfactory number of stars in a rating or to what is crucial for customers when choosing a product. The readers are introduced to basic concepts related to the topic (such as the purchase behavior of customers and its influences, the willingness to buy, the customer satisfaction or the user product reviews) before the analysis. The interviewing method was chosen for primary data collection. Due to a quantitative nature of the research, the research questions were specified firstly. These questions were evaluated using descriptive statistics and tools of statistic reasoning.

Analýza nákupního chování spotřebitelů na trhu dermokosmetiky / Analysis of purchase behavior of consumers at the dermocosmetics market

The thesis focuses on the buying behavior of consumers at the dermocosmetics market in the Czech Republic with a main focus on consumers of brands Vichy, Bioderma, La Roche-Posay, Avene and Eucerin. The work is divided into two main parts, theoretical and practical. The first part is devoted to general theoretical knowledge in the field of shopping behavior of consumers, the buying decision process and its various stages. It also builds on the theoretical foundation of marketing research, its nature and process. In the practical part there is dermocosmetics market in the Czech Republic mapped together with the introduction of the above mentioned dermocosmetic brands. After secondary research follows the main part, which is the primary consumer research conducted through interviews with consumer of dermocosmetics, which is then compared with primary research of pharmacy staff selling democosmetics. The findings of the research are then formulated into practical recommendations given to the Active Cosmetics Division at L'Oréal.
