This dissertation thesis aims to propose a suitable decision-making model process with preparation of a development project. The model consists of an aggregate of key factors, which after evaluation, will indicate future successful efficient market application. This thesis brinks a model proposal of shopping centre development projects. The model developed has been tested with real projects in practice in the latter part of the thesis.

This diploma work deals with vegetative adjustments in interior of shopping centers. Evaluation of available already realised objects of this type was the target of this thesis. The main attention was given to description of particular operations during implementation of maintenance care during whole year. Literary part of this work is focused on relationship between plants and enviroment, to which is placed in. Basic part of this thesis then describes methods of vegetative elements disposition and detailed characterization of subsequent maintenance care, which is based on own experiences gained in practice.

Motivace domácností ke zvýšení úspor energií

This diploma thesis deals with consumer behavior on the energy market, namely with household energy consumption. It focuses on identification of motivational factors which influence the consumer to consume less energy and which influence shopping behaviour on this market. In order to identify these factors and explore more data related to energy savings, a combination of qualitative and quantitative research was used. Sample size of the in-depth interviews was 30 householders, sample size of the questionnaire survey was 304 diverse household members. Based on the results and with the help of the fractional goals, a main goal was achieved, which consisted of marketing recommendations for consulting companies that provide energy consulting to increase both quantitative and financial energy savings for their customers.

Zákaznická spokojenost a její souvislost s hospodářskými výsledky maloobchodních řetězců / Customer sattisfaction and its connection with financial results of retail chains

This diploma thesis studies potential coherence between customer satisfaction and economic results of retail chains. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part important terms connected with satisfaction, customers, trade and retail are defined. In the practical part can be found questionnaire research results and revenues of each retail chain. Questionnaires which were focused on customer satisfaction are evaluated by pivot tables and the results are displayed in graphs. The thesis disposes of retail chains revenues from years 2012, 2013 and 2014. The main aim of this diploma thesis is to find out if there is a possible coherence between customer satisfaction and revenues of concrete retail chains. This possible coherence is investigated by correlative coefficient. Based on the results of this thesis suggestions for improvement of concrete retail chains are made.

Preference spotřebitele při nákupu na farmářských trzích / Consumer preferences when shopping at farmers' markets

The master´s thesis characterizes farmers´ markets and their development, supervisory authorities which are linked with the farmers´ markets, the codex of farmers´ markets and the basic signs of quality. The main aim of the thesis is to identify the preferences and the buying behaviour of consumers who buy food on farmers´ markets and consecutive formulation of recommendation for sellers and producers of the original Czech food products who implement their goods on farmers´ markets based on the findings. The consumer's preferences survey was implemented by a direct interrogation through questionnaires. All age groups were included in the survey. There were 172 questionnaires which were filled and the data were processed to charts and tables and were evaluated through Microsoft Excel. Then an analysis of the dependency of chosen signs was done. The analysis was done using the x2 test of the independency in the IBM SPSS Statistics software and following confirmation or refusal of the hypothesis which were stated in advance. The findings show that the most visited farmers´ markets are the markets on Náplavka. The consumers who participated in the survey prefer the quality of the goods, the freshness of the goods and their own experience the most. The goods which the consumers buy the most often are fruits, vegetables, pastry, milk and dairy products.

The presented diploma thesis deals with the newly opened shopping center Galerie Teplice. The center is currently working on creation of a suitable market position with respect to the existing strong competition. The objective of the thesis is to evaluate the current position of the aforementioned shopping center on the market, then to learn more about its visitors and finally to improve targeting and personalize the marketing communication based on the analysis of results. For this reason the diploma thesis is focused on identifying and analyzing detailed information about the behavior, perceptions and preferences of visitors of designated shopping centers, especially of the Galerie center and on defining of its current positioning in relation to specified competitors.

Vliv televizní reklamy na spotřebitelské chování dospělých / The Influence of TV Advertisement on Consumer Behavior of Adults

The thesis is specialized on issue of influence of not only TV advertising on adult consumers, especially from the point of view of psychology. At first, in the theoretical part, besides the important characteristics of advertising and marketing communication, the thesis deals with basic milestones in the history of advertising and its connection with psychology. The next chapters are focused on models of consumer behavior and the personal characteristics of consumers are analyzed on the base of their main sociocultural characteristics. Attention is also paid to the important psychological concepts associated with advertising such as perception, attention, memory, association and forgetting. Part of the thesis focuses on emotional advertising appeals and it devotes with the effects of emotions, colours and humor in advertising on consumers. Practical part of the thesis is based on quantitative research, which confirms or rejects the theoretical background. Effect of emotions is illustrated on a selected TV commercial, which is part of a questionnaire filled in by respondents from the Highland region and South Bohemia region.
