Aktuální otázky pěstounské péče v České republice / The actual questions of The Foster Care in the Czech Republic

JELÍNKOVÁ, Hana January 2009 (has links)
The topic of my thesis is called Current Questions about Foster Care in the Czech Republic. European Union organizations and UNICEF organizations, due to the information from experts, have been drawing attention to the fact, that there is a high percentage of children under the age of three years living in various institutions. It is therefore necessary for the state to increase the support for substitutive family care. The theoretical part describes the function and defects of a family, psychic deprivation of children, the history of foster care, the institution of foster care and its new forms and other. The target of the research and hypothesis is stated in the practical part. The target of the thesis is an attempt to clarify all the reasons why children live in institutions and why finding a substitutive family for them is difficult. The targeted sample was represented by 110 children from all regions of the Czech Republic except the South Bohemia region. These children{\crq} s collection of documents was forwarded in the second half of the year 2007 to the Regional Council of South Bohemia Region. In accordance with the target of the work following hypothesis were determined: Hypothesis no. 1: Most of the targeted children have serious disabilities. Hypothesis no. 2: The targeted sample were mainly children between 7 {--} 10 years old. Hypothesis no.3: The most frequent reason why children stay in institutions is the fact that their parents are not able to look after them. Hypotheses have been refuted. Characteristic of research sample processed.

Vznik a genetická podstata glykopeptidové rezistence u koaguláza-negativních stafylokoků / Development and genetic basis of glycopeptide resistance in coagulase-negative staphylococci

Prášilová, Jana January 2018 (has links)
Glycopeptides are the so-called last-resort antibiotics in clinical practice used to treat heavier, predominantly nosocomial infections caused by multi-resistant coagulase-negative staphylococci. The origin and genetic basis of resistance to glycopeptide antibiotics has not yet been elucidated within coagulase-negative staphylococci. Research on Staphylococcus aureus has shown, that intermediate resistance to glycopeptide antibiotics is associated with the presence of one or more mutations, rather than being conditioned by the support of a particular genetic element, such as in enterococci. By using various types of in vitro resistant mutant selection, we were able to obtain isogenic pairs of glycopeptide sensitive and resistant strains of Staphylococcus epidermidis and Staphylococcus haemolyticus. By sequencing the genomes of these pairs, one nucleotide polymorphisms were identified and predominantly found in metabolic and cell wall control systems. Phenotypic analysis did not reveal a direct association of glycopeptide resistance with increased biofilm formation. In clinical practice, the cross-resistance of glycopeptides and other antibiotics is problematic. For the non-glycopeptide antibiotics imipenem and rifampicin, the incidence of cross-resistance with glycopeptide antibiotics in S. aureus...

Nové trendy v hojení chronických ran / New trends in healing chronic wounds

KREJSKOVÁ, Kamila January 2013 (has links)
Basic theoretical bases As a chronic wound is called a secondarily healing wound which despite adequate therapy does not tend to heal for a period of 6-9 weeks. The cause of the chronic wound occurrence and its transformation into an acute wound can be infection, influence of associated diseases, skin top layer microtraumatization or skin necrosis cavity. Among the most frequent types of chronic wounds there are aligned venous ulcerations, arterial rodent ulcers, decubitus ulcers and neuropathic rodent ulcers as a consequence of diabetes mellitus disease. Knowledge about wound healing has been deepened considerably in the last few years. The pharmaceutical industry introduces to the market continuously new means of phase wound healing and owing to new trends the classical treatment has nearly disappeared. Essay targets 1.To monitor nurse knowledge about new trends in chronic wound healing. 2.To determine what means of draping and bandaging materials are used in chronic wound treatment in practice and what means appear to be the most effective. 3.To find out if in practical terms there are conditions for nurses to use new trends in chronic wound healing and what constraints they meet in their endeavour to apply these trends. 4.To learn if patients with a non-healing wound are informed about new trends in chronic wound healing. 5.To learn if new trends in chronic wound healing are available for affected patients and in what extent they are used by them. 6.To determine if new trends in chronic wound healing improve life quality of patients with chronic wounds. Used methods The empirical part of the diploma work was processed with a tool of qualitative research inquiry. For data acquisition I chose the technique of semi-structured interview with respondents. For research inquiry I selected two groups of respondents. The first group of respondents was comprised of 10 nurses employed in Nemocnice České Budějovice, a.s. and in the other group there were 5 patients hospitalized in this facility. The interview findings were analysed and divided into categories. For clear arrangement there were created schemes to individual categories in XMind programme. The schemes are supplied with commentary and several quotations of the respondents. Findings From interview analyses it is clear that there is a certain influence of individuality. In the first part there is monitored nurse knowledge about modern trends in chronic wound healing. The conclusion of the research is that in all sections where interviewed nurses work chronic wounds are treated by the way of wet (phase) healing. I also found out that there are several therapeutic and draping materials suitable for all phases of chronic wound healing. There are also described a few practical problems which make effective care about chronic wounds difficult. In the second part there are mentioned particular defects in patient acquaintance with modern methods in wound healing and insufficient education by medical staff. There are also described all problems which deteriorate life quality of patients with chronic wounds. Conclusion The chronic wound healing methods have changed completely in the last few years. Pharmaceutical firms introduce to the market a lot of new materials facilitating very effective and comfortable care about wounds. However, this fact requires continuous education of medical staff participating in the chronic wound treatment. This brings positive results and finally decreases economic costs of care about patients with chronic wounds.

Prózy Jaroslava Vrchlického / The Novels of Jaroslav Vrchlický

JOHNOVÁ, Petra January 2014 (has links)
This thesis focuses on the prosaic writing of Jaroslav Vrchlický. In the first part it monitors an extension of the reception in these novels (it analyzes their editions with the help of the database Caslin). It also observes character of the period reception from the first publication of the corresponding titles up to the year 1918 (there is a support of the database Retrobi and Lexikon české literatury). The second part of the thesis analyzes the Vrchlický's novels according to methods of naratology and literary thematology. The third part of this writing focuses on a genre and a themed characteristic of the Vrchlický's novels in the context of that period.

Formování osobnosti manažera ve spojitosti s motivací a stimulací / Developing manager personality in connection with motivation and stimulation

KŘIKLAVA, Jiří January 2007 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to determine the influence of both inner and outer environments on the formation and growth of the manager{\crq}s personality as well as to explore new trends in human resources management with an emphasis on his/her motivation and stimulation. The research has been carried out in two companies: Budějovický Budvar n. p. and Coca {--} Cola Beverages Česká republika, spol. s r. o. The first part of the work summarizes the theory of the manager{\crq}s personality, his/her motivation, stimulation and the new trends in human resources management. The applied methods are a questionnaire survey, an interview and observation. The answers to individual questions are shown in charts and graphs and they are supplemented with results and discussions. The research in the companies was aimed at senior executives and managers. The system of motivation and stimulation in both companies is very elaborate, which ensures the managers{\crq} personality development. Moreover, a great emphasis is placed on further training and care for their personal growth. The questionnaire survey revealed that Czech managers favour team leadership, self-realization, career advance and appropriate income. Human capital is the most valuable asset of any company and the role of its executives is to be able to motivate, stimulate and develop their subordinates and themselves sufficiently, effectively and continually.

Figurální kompozice v dané architektuře / The figural composition in the new-roman architecture

BEROVÁ, Martina January 2007 (has links)
This diploma work aims to find a convenient solution of an interier design of a damaged new-roman chapel that was built in the destroyed village Kropfschlag/Mýtiny near the city Nové Hrady in the South Bohemia. The introductory theoretical part outlines problems of the World War II and the following expulsion of the Germans from the Czech border (this part is mainly related to the region of Nové Hrady and is accompanied with local eyewitnesse´s memories). In addition, it includes brief history of the village Kropfschlag/Mýtiny. This part is followed with a reflexion about problems of Czech-German relations. The introductory part leads to a search for a suitable symbol.Firstly, the symbol should aptly express the war and post-war sad events. Secondly, it should have a connection to this original land and furthermore the symbol should be appropriate that it could be installed in the interier of the damaged chapel to force the visitors to thing about the history of this land. The final part is devoted to a description of the method used for implementation of the chosen symbol. The practical part includes documentation of the above-mentioned chapel and a minimized 3D implementation of the chosen symbol.

Buquoyové, historie a kulturní odkaz v Čechách / Buquoy aristocratic family, history and cultural legacy in Bohemia

Landová, Adéla January 2017 (has links)
1 Abstract The Buquoy aristocratic family is a branch of the Longueval family that has origins in current France. The Buquoys arrived in Lands of the Bohemian Crown during the thirty years' war when Charles Bonaventure was called in to fight Bohemian Protestants. Soon after, he received an estate in the Southern Bohemia from Ferdinand II where he and his descendants stayed nearly three and a half centuries. The Buquoys soon extended their opulent estates by Prague palaces and few regions in the North Bohemia. They contributed to advances in agriculture, glassblowing and in the area of social and scholar reforms. They were also engaged in politics and became important patrons of culture and arts. Nevertheless, the Buquoys suffered the same fate as other aristocratic families. In the beginning of the 19th century, they started losing their privileges and estates and, in 1945, they were expelled from Czechoslovakia based on Beneš decrees concerning retribution. The aim of this thesis is to point out the cultural legacy which Buquoys left behind in the current Czech Republic and to describe their overall contribution in particular areas. The thesis is divided into two chapters. The first chapter is dedicated to the general picture and to the history of aristocratic families in the Lands of the Bohemian Crown...

Porovnání ITS nrDNA a alternativních markerů pro metabarcoding hub v environmentálních vzorcích / Comparison of ITS nrDNA and alternative markers for fungal metabarcoding in environmental samples

Zelenka, Tomáš January 2015 (has links)
The study of fungal diversity may lead to many fundamental discoveries and conclusions. Molecular genetics, and particularly high throughput sequencing methods using short DNA fragments as barcodes, has recently experienced a boom. The most frequently used marker for fungal research is the partial region of nuclear ribosomal DNA called ITS (Internal Transcribed Spacer). It occurs in the form of tandem repetitions of up to 200 copies. This fact greatly simplifies its amplification from the environment but also introduces some negatives. One of them can be an existence of intragenomic and intraspecific variability which confounds diversity estimates by exaggerating the real number of species. Using alternative low-copy markers can easily prevent these problems. In this study EF-1α and RPB2 protein- coding genes were compared with traditionally used ITS1 and ITS2 markers. An artificial mock community was created by blending genomic DNA of different fungal lineages. The community was sequenced for all markers and the data were processed according to guidelines commonly used in environmental studies. The results show that ITS2 is unequivocally a more suitable marker for environmental studies than other compared markers. The average coefficient of overestimation was deemed to be approximately two for ITS1, ITS2,...

Mezinárodní insolvenční právo / International insolvency law

Čermák, Jan January 2016 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the topic of international insolvency law, in particular with certain areas of European insolvency law, with an emphasis on the matters of international jurisdiction for opening of main and territorial insolvency proceedings and international jurisdiction to hear actions related to insolvency proceedings. Furthermore, this diploma thesis is aimed at evaluation of the Czech legislation regarding cross-border insolvencies. The legal framework for European insolvency law was incorporated into the Insolvency regulation in 2002. Due to disagreements between certain member states of the EU regarding some of the important institutes of cross-border insolvencies the Insolvency regulation often contains vague provisions. It, therefore, fell to the Court of Justice of the European Union to provide interpretation of such ambiguous clauses. In 2012 the European commission created a report on the application of the Insolvency regulation and simultaneously presented a long awaited proposal for modernisation of the European insolvency law in the form of the Insolvency regulation recast. The aim of the Insolvency regulation recast is to promote cooperation between member states in the matter of cross-border insolvency proceedings. Additionally, it codifies a substantial part of the...
