Dynamic stochastic general equilibrium models are derived from microeconomic principles and they retain the hypothesis of rational expectations under policy changes. Thus they are resistant to the Lucas critique. The DSGE model has become associated with new Keynesian thinking. The basic New Keynesian model is studied in this thesis. The three equations of this model are dynamic IS curve, Phillips-curve and monetary policy rule. Blanchard and Kahn's approach is introduced as the solution strategy for linearized model. Two methods for evaluating DSGE models are presented -- calibration and Bayesian estimation. Calibrated parametres are used to fit the model to Czech economy. The results of numeric experiments are compared with empricial data from Czech republic. DSGE model's suitability for monetary policy analysis is evaluated.

This work is focused on the newly emerging field of Cloud computing and view of adoption of this technology in various industrial sectors. The first section explains the concept of cloud computing, its characteristics and individual models. The following part is a brief analysis of the size and development of the current market for cloud services. Next section focuses on the creation of industry categories acording to area of their business, together with their description. The actual categories are examined in part four, along with their expenditures on IT and state of Cloud's adoption, in addition with specific advantages and obstacles. Results from previous section are summarized in part five. In conclusion, the hypothesis is verified and the main findings summarized.

This thesis contributes to the currently frequent topic of economic geography and explains the processes for the creation of new companies in the Pilsen and Zlín regions between years 2009-2011. The choice of these two regions reflects their similar structural characteristics within the firm sector and their different horizontal position. The aim of this work is to find out through which processes in the monitored regions new companies are being created within the manufacturing industry and to which extent these processes affect the subsequent economic performance of companies during the first five years of existence. For this purpose, a typology of the creation of new companies based on their initial characteristics was designed and processed. These initial characteristics reflect both the regional dimension in terms of the origin of the key resources for the creation of a new company relative to the hosting region and the consequent different competencies and possibilities of newly created companies. Despite the initial assumptions, the results showed that the compared regions are practically the same within this issue. This master thesis addresses issues reflecting the socio-natural aspects of draught, one of the devastating consequences of climate change which increasingly affects the Czech Republic. This work uses a field research facility located around reservoirs Nové Mlýny and views it within the waterworlds concept, a term established by authors Kristen Hastrup and Fridy Hastrup. Ethnographic research shows the impact of water and its scarcity on the landscape, local inhabitants and their relationships and practices. A particular focus is given to wine growers and their understanding of draught, climate change and ways for adopting good practices in an area which is gradually drying out. Furthermore, it captures the transformation of practices related to the maintenance of a vineyard and maps individuals affected by the problems of draught in that area. This master’s thesis deals with the influence of different carbon materials on the properties of Li-S accumulators. The theoretical part of the thesis describes primary and secondary electrochemical sources with a focus on medical applications. The second chapter deals individually with a lithium article. The main part of the thesis is the practical production of electrodes for Li-S accumulators using different types of carbon materials. The effects of these materials on the properties of accumulators are investigated to determine the most appropriate in terms of capacity and stability.

The aim of diploma thesis is design of new connection in Havlickuv Brod. New connection will enable passage without setting-back between Brno and Jihlava in Havlickuv Brod.

Hlavním cílem této diplomové práce je analýza diferenciální exprese genů na základě negativního binomického modelu. Úvodní část je věnována teoretickému základu, pojednává o sekvenování RNA, sekvenování nové generace, výhodách a možném využití, formátu fastQ aj. Následující část už se zabývá samotnou praktickou částí, zde byl vybrán vhodný set genů, které budou později analyzovány a příslušná data byla stažena. Tato data byla zarovnána k lidskému genomu verze 37 Burrowsovou-Wheelerovou transformací s využitím bowtie mapovače, byly tak vytvořeny soubory ve formátu SAM. Toto soubory dat byly později setříděny pomocí nástroje SAMtools. Následně byly v programovém prostředí Matlab (verze R2013b) vytvořeny anotované objekty genů s využitím služby Ensembl´s BioMart. Dále byla určena genová exprese a byly odhadnuty faktory velikosti knihovny. Na závěr byly odhadnuty parametry negativního binomického rozložení a byla vyhodnocena diferenciální exprese genů.

The intention of this master’s thesis is proposal development of housing in Brno-Řečkovice location. This is an area between Žilkova street and Terezy Novákové street. In currently in this area it is found terraced houses and block of flats near the north boundaries of area. Then it is found the small recreational buildings and yards. Area has development potential, because it is situated in quiescent location of Brno, but at the same time it is relatively easily accessible.Thanks of planning extension tram line. The urban concept contains especially blocks of flats, then objects with services and day-care center. The intention is create functional place with new housing capacity.

This diploma thesis deals with reliability assessment of the Nové Mlýny dam during flood routing of extreme flood with emergency spillway. Capacity of current emergency spillways was assessed and flood routing for theoretical flood waves was examined. Results showed insufficient capacity of the spillway for routing of 10 000 year flood. Therefore variants of corrective measures leading to reliability increase were proposed.

The project deals with pension in Ostrožská Nová Ves. Duplex apartment is a part of the building. The building is a partially basement, it has three floors. It is situated by slightly (nearly flat) terrain. There are storage and boiler room in the basement. The first floor is used for operating purposes and there are accommodation units which are situated at second floor, too. There are two flats at third floor.
