Ochrana autorských práv a mezinárodní právo / Protection of copyright and international Law

Protection of Copyright and International Law Abstract The topic of the thesis is focused on currnet situation within the area of international copyright protection in connection with new technologies. Firstly, it points to differences in national and regional adaptations of legislation based on the principle of teritoriality typical for copyright protection. It defines the position of copyright within the framework of international law and within the system of intellectual property rights. It then presents the legislational framework of this area through the Berne Convention, the TRIPs Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights and the WIPO World Intellectual Property Organization. It then focuses on the regional area of the European Union, where it discusses the Copyright Directive in the Information Society and the currently prepared Copyright Directive in the Single Digital Market and discusses in more detail its controversial articles 11 and 13. In Its second part, the thesis aproaches concepts of copyright, the criterion of originality and uniqueness, dualism of copyright as divided to the economic and moral rights and the concept of employee works. The main goal of the diploma thesis is to propose suitable recommendations in the area of marketing communication of the company Costa Coffee on the basis of a questionnaire survey and data analysis. To accomplish the main goal of the thesis, logically sequenced partial goals precede it. The theoretical part contains basic terms related to marketing, marketing mix and marketing communication, especially communication mix and targeted marketing. The practical part describes characteristics of the chosen café chain and its marketing mix, which is inspected also in the closest competition companies. Also analyzed is the external marketing environment of the coffee chain. The questionnaire survey, which is aimed to identify suitable segments for setting most effective marketing communication possible, follows. The suggestion for the optimization of marketing tools is based on a research into consumption and medial behaviour and lifestyle of MML TGI population. On the basis of the data gained in this research, the perception of promotions on the level of individual segments is analysed. The conclusion, considering all the information acquired in the research, contains a proposal for improving marketing activities, and green coffee is suggested to be added to the café portfolio.

The purpose of this paper is to describe the development of the economic life of the predefined region of the former South Bohemian political district Kaplice in the first half of the 20th century. The area of this territory was different than it is today. This district was formed by three judicial districts, which were Kaplice, Vyšší Brod and Nové Hrady, which must first be properly geographically grasp. The greatest emphasis is placed on the work of electrification of the district focused way, took place. In this work, emphasis is also placed on the way the local people tried to accept or reject electricity. Since it was a very poor region, after the industry, we are dealing with the problem of depopulation of the region. These issues are also engaged. Furthermore, I am concerned with other economic activities so that people in this area, a minimum interest of investors able to sustain a culturally developed. The multi-criteria analysis was made with five methods and then there was defined the compromise order. The results were compared in 2007 - 2010 period, when all countries became members of the EU and there was impact of the economical crisis in these years.

In present diploma thesis called The Problem of Communication between Man and Machine in Contemporary Visual Culture I will analyse the movie by Spike Jonze called Her (2013), in which the topic of interconnection between Artificial Intelligence and real human world is presented. I will deal mostly with the themes of virtual reality and communication between man and computer. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first is based on the analysis of chosen theories of new media in order to reveal the theoretical foundation of the theme of interaction between the man (as human body) and machine (as computer); also I will analyse the development in the fiedl of AI to describe various forms of human-computer communication. The second part of the thesis is based on the case study/analysis of the movie Her, in which the theme of communication between human and computer is presented. In the first part of the thesis I will follows ideas of Lev Manovich, Marshall McLuhan, Pierre Lévy, Paul Virilio, John Searle, Jakub Macek and Mark B. N. Hansen. This Master´s thesis entitled Implementation of management 2.0 principles in Czech businesses focuses on innovative ways of managing companies and their employees. The aim of the work is to evaluate based on qualitative research to what extent and in what form are management 2.0 principles pursued in the Czech business environment. The theoretical part contains definitions of basic management concepts, reasons of management model innovation and description of management practices used in both traditional and alternative management. Based on academic literature, the theoretical part prepares the ground for practical work. The practical part is in addition to the analysis of available information based primarily on interviews with managers and employees of Czech companies that are outwardly practicing various approaches to management 2.0. The work is beneficial especially to business executives and management students, who can deepen their knowledge about management trends in the 21st century. The thesis can serve to future job applicants as a source of valuable information on innovative employers on the Czech market.
