The main aim is the analysis of new insurance products in czech insurance market. The work is description of insurance products, which were newly introduced or remaked, due to changes in law or in preferences of customers and theirs subsequent evaluation.

The goal of this thesis is to analyze whole new market of touch devices. It describes main competitors of this market and tries to uncover reasons of their success. Main focus of this paper is to descibe new concepts of those touch devices, which through its disruptive inovations created whole new trend in the field of information technology. Another goal of this thesis is to describe ways of doing business with those devices. To do this, thesis focuses on applications for touch devices, mainly on Apple devices and operationg systém iOS. After that thesis defines few forms in which this business can be done (which are basically forms of application development). Because of that thesis is further focused mainly on applications themselves. App Store, as a revolutionary distribution method for applications, is described in detail. In the end of this paper there is a complete example of creating application.

The diploma thesis is focused on assessment of changes in tax law arisen in connection with private law recodification. The first part is focused on private law development in the Czech Republic because the new Civil Code follows historical private law regulation in many ways. The second part is focused on description of possible situation that could occur if the tax law has not been adjusted to private law recodification. The key issue is the assessment of tax solution of chosen recodification changes with pointing out possible obscurities in the tax law.

Application problems of EU prospectus regulation in the Czech Republic Abstract The subject matter of this thesis is the analysis of certain application problems that are associated with the regulation of the prospectus at EU level, represented mainly by the relatively recently adopted so-called "Prospectus Regulation". The thesis aims to identify the main problems that may arise from the EU regulation of the prospectus in the case of its application in the Czech Republic. Following the identification of these problems, the subject of this thesis is to analyze these problems in terms of their severity, consequences for capital market participants, causes and possible solutions. The thesis is divided into five parts. The first part defines the definition of the term prospectus, its main requirements from a practical point of view, a brief history of securities regulation and the prospectus as a means of regulating the offering of securities to the public and the analysis of the importance of public offering of securities today. The second part focuses on the prospectus approval process in the Czech Republic, including a brief description of this process and an analysis of the application problems associated with this process. The subject of the Master's Thesis is the design activity of architect Dušan Samo Jurkovič for Josef and Cyril Bartoň from Dobenín in Nové Město nad Metují. In a separate chapter, she first introduces the chateau in Nové Město nad Metují in its construction development and also introduces the urban and cultural context of the city in its individual historical periods. In other chapters she exhibits the personality of Dušan Samo Jurkovič and his work before the rebuilding of the chateau in Nové Město nad Metují, as well as the assignment given to Jurkovič in Nové Město. The core of the work is an analysis of Jurkovič's interventions in the chateau. Their further interpretation is used for the independent processing of Jurkovič's buildings in Peklo, a restaurant and tourist cottages. The concluding chapter deals with the evaluation of Jurkovič's work in Nové Město nad Metují and an overview of further development of his architectural work and his work in the preservation of monuments. Master thesis is about historical deposition of sediments in the upper reservoir of Nové Mlýny from first fill up with water until present time. Beginning of the thesis concentrates on introduction of types of sediments and their behavior in rivers and reservoirs, sediment deposition in reservoirs and measures against sedimentation in reservoir. Part of the thesis consist of the creation of numerical one-dimensional model with transport of sediments on sections of rivers Dyje, Jevišovka and in the upper reservoir. Output data evaluation consist of analysis of sediment’s volume, development of bed in time and variation of bed evaluation in reservoir. Master thesis evaluates the development of water surface with different stages of sedimentation.

The submitted thesis deals with a specific case of dilapidated buildings on Nové sady streetin Brno, Czech Republic, which belongs to the so called "brownfields". The goal of the thesis is to undertake necessary analyses so that the best way of future utilization of these buildings can be defined and, with a respect to the surrounding buildings, a proposal of other suitable objects prepared. At the end, evaluation of the entire project is done. A also mention some potential benefits of the proposed solution - for the immovable properties owners as well as for the neighborhood.

Cancer the second most common causes of death in the Czech Republic. Carriers of mutations in genes predisposing to hereditary cancers represent a small but clinically significant group of high risk individuals. Today, dozens of predisposing genes for hereditary tumor syndromes are known and targeted next generation sequencing (NGS) has become a standard approach for their analysis. NGS allows rapid acceleration diagnostics of causal mutation in high-risk individuals. To identify mutations in genes predisposing to hereditary cancers, we designed a panel NGS analysis including subsequent bioinformatics analysis allowing a reliable identification of single nucleotide variants, insertions/deletions, and large intragenic rearrangements. The bioinformatics procedures described in this thesis were used for panel NGS validation, but also for identification of alterations associating with so far undescribed hereditary tumor types. Bioinformatics analyzes have become the basis for the unified processing of large datasets from the CZECANCA consortium and enable the construction of a population-specific database of genotypes that serve to improve clinical diagnostics of cancer predisposition in Czech patients. The "New Media at School" diploma thesis focuses on the presence of new media at school and on the meanings and practices associated with it. Based on participatory observation in Prague high school, semi-structured interviews and Internet resources analysis, it tries to understand how new media are involved in shaping the space and organization of the school, its teaching and learning organization. It focuses on how the school seeks to cope with the arrival of these expensive facilities for which it is responsible.It alsonotices how the school seeks to cope with the penetration of the different spaces that the new media bring into its hitherto closed environment. At the same time, it points to ways in which the school itself crosses its borders, the time-space of disciplination. Finally, it monitors the impact of new media on relationships within the school, between teachers and pupils, but also within the peer group. Through these meanings and practices, it points to the dilemmas that the emergence of new media has brought to the school environment, and analyzes how new media allows pupils to face this disciplination pressure in the school, and vice versa, in what moments new media themselves take disciplination into their own hands. The dissertation thesis about Czech and Polish legislation on drug offenses deals with driving under the influence of addictive substances, responsibility for acts committed under the influence of addictive substances, drug possession, cannabis cultivation, production and distribution of drugs, handling of articles for drug production and spreading drug addiction. The aim of this work is to bring a critical view of the current Czech legislation on drug offenses and related issues and then to present specific legislative proposals based on comparison with Polish law. The thesis analyzes the Polish and Czech legal regulations of drug offenses and brings a comparison of the facts of the aforementioned crimes and specific case studies. The work is based on legal regulations and case law of both countries, practical knowledge and also available statistical data. The thesis deals with the legalization of drugs comprehensively, including the arguments for and against legalization, wich are used in the Czech Republic and Poland. It addresses the legalization of cannabis on the example of Holland, the USA and Uruguay, as well as the availability of hard drugs in substitution programs in the Czech Republic and Poland.
