This diploma thesis assess the analysis of range of services provided by the non-profit organizations in the areas along the borders of South Bohemian region. This assessment is to be based on gaining information on current condition of non-profit sector in the given region as well as the possibility of cross-border cooperation with foreign subjects of similar kind. The practical part of this diploma thesis is dealing with research of the range of activities being engaged by the non-profit organizations in the area. Non-profit organizations which had been asked have shown the interest in cooperation with both domestic and foreign non-profit organizations. Based on the output of the research a report concerning the condition of the non-profit sector has been made, as well as recommendation on further activities of the non-profit organizations.

Diploma thesis Social networks and election to Chamber of Deputies in year 2010 covers activities of political parties on internet social networks such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. The thesis also covers some civic engagements, which intervened electoral campaign and later influenced people decision in election to the Parliament of Czech republic. The first part describes how political parties, which has entered the Chamber of Deputies, used potential of social networks in campaign and how their activities differed from party to party and also by social networks. The thesis discovers how political parties saw campaign on social networks and which forms of promotion they used. Second part is about activities of civic engagements on social networks and about their influence on results of the election. Diploma thesis discovers if their success depended on social networks. In the last part of the thesis, a research was made on a group of users of social networks. It analysed the influence of political parties' campaigns on social networks and also civic engagements on the results of this parliamentary election.

The thesis focuses on the issue of civic attitudes adopted by students of vocational schools. The author presents an overview of previous Czech research which shows that students of vocational schools are placed at the bottom of international surveys inquiring civic and political knowledge. Moreover, the results reveal that the students of vocational schools express their support for democracy as a way of government the least. The goal of the thesis is to describe civic and political opinions of concrete students and show who influences them and how. It is designed as a multiple case study. Six students of vocational schools from Prague, a smaller town and a village in Central Bohemian Region were chosen to participate in the study. The core of the work is the description of the individual cases in a detailed context including their family, community, school and friends. The findings indicate that the studied students are usually not interested in politics. Their political beliefs are heavily formed by their family and peers. School as an institution does not have any influence, not even through civic education which is compulsory during the first years of high school education. This thesis entitled‚ Kopřivnice in the process of political changes in 1989/1990' consists of a description and analysis of events connected to the disintegration of the post-totalitarian authoritarian regime in Czechoslovakia and deals with the transition to democracy of the medium-sized North Moravian town, Kopřivnice. My aim is to record not only the course of political changes, but also social and economic development after 17 November 1989. In terms of time, the thesis covers the period from 1986 to the municipal election in November 1990. The first chapter describes the oral history method, its position in the modern science and in the practical part of this thesis. The second chapter deals with the characteristics of the post-totalitarian authoritarian regime in Czechoslovakia before 1989 and the pre-existing conditions for the subsequent changes which took place in Czechoslovakia and Czech society. The third chapter analyses the field of the Velvet Revolution in revolution theory terms. It examines, if it is possible to consider the change as a revolution, and it studies the events in November 1989 from the point of view of the theory of transition. The thesis tries to prove applicability of the concept "civil religion" to the Czech society. After presentation of the concept of civil religion originating from R. Bellah, civil society and legitimization (grounded in the ideas of J. Přibáň) the addresses of president V. Havel and the articles from the selected newspapers of that period are analysed. In 1989-1993 as the transformative and crisis period one can observe the debate about the necessity of creating a civil society, finding a way of legitimizing the new condition and creating a new collective identity. Focusing on the individual and the citizenship following from the analysed articles constitutes the societal fundaments; and in these fundaments, thanks to "civil religion", there are recognized the transcendent component and the universality that both convey unifying potential and can be presented in a particular form through myths.

This thesis outlines the current state of adult media literacy and education in the Czech Republic. It defines basic concepts, present and historical approaches of media literacy and its anchoring in the Czech legal order and international documents. It further focuses on current phenomena of media world and selected media institutions involved in media literacy development. This work reviews the process of updating of citizenship education in the Czech Republic, France and Germany. The introductory part of the text outlines the current situation of citizenship and political education in the European context. The following part presents differences in citizenship education in the above mentioned European countries, with reference to the particular historical, political and philosophical development. The third part reviews the context of the actual challenges related to the concept of citizenship education, and the significance of its updated reformulation. The three selected aspects are: democratic values in society, lifelong learning, and the role of media (as informers and influencers). The fourth part of the text is devoted to the problem of hater on the network, as a topic which binds the political, multicultural and media education topics. The summary outlines differences and similarities within particular national systems of citizenship education. The theoretical part of diploma thesis deals with the family, it's support by the State and other institutions, an analysis of childcare facilities - maternity centers, kindergartens, mini-kindergartens, nurseries, etc. Further analysis is directed to describe the purpose, operation and financing of the parent centers. Practical part of thesis deals with the analysis in the form of questionnaire survey of current and potential clients of parent centers in order to determine the availability, amenities, services, etc. of childcare facilities at Prague 13 in order to make recommendations for the further development of parent center Prokůpek.

Dissertation describes managemenet and organisation of football club depending on organization size. It analyzes individual aspects of management and organisation of sports organizations concerning football clubs. For example, evaluation of level of management and organisation of sports organization, current approaches to management of organisation and football clubs financing. Dissertation practise shows pieces of knowledge of management and organisation of football clubs and recognizes specifics of organisation in football clubs of different size. Large and small clubs are represented by FC Vysocina Jihlava, Slavoj TKZ Polna a and TJ Jiskra Dobronin.

The aim of the thesis is to do an analyze of services provided by the selected citizen advice and evaluation of the most common problems that clients turned up for help. In the introduction I define the basic theoretical and methodological basis of work. Subsequently, historical aspects will be generalized, which stood at the birth of a new citizen service. In another part I describe the term of counseling, focusing on the typology and principles. I specify the target group and the methodology of work with a client advisor. In conclusion, the theory will focus on the way to guarantee the quality of consulting services in relation to the standards of social services. In the practical part I bring near the role of management consulting citizen selected, the process of obtaining funding sources and ways of organizing work. Then I compare the differences in accounting and reporting against business entities. Further specifications will be made counseling process, with particular emphasis on the expertise of advisors. I do an analyze of services in terms of counseling and also I evaluate the social role of the state. The research part will seek both to confirm or refute the hypotheses set, while a suitable method of analyzing business advisors in dealing with clients in the selected clinic and evaluate the role of preventive counseling in the social phenomena studied. The outcome will be recommendations on how to improve business counseling and counselors themselves.
