This thesis deals with analysis of revenues and expenditure for selected small municipalities of South Bohemia in 2008. Revenues are divided into tax, non-tax, capital revenues and transfers received. Revenues are analyzed according to type classification of the budget structure. Expenditures are divided into current and capital. They are also analyzed according to type classification and classification by branch of the budget structure as well. Data are process into tables and graphs. The thesis also analyzes the property of municipalities and their indebtedness. Obtained date are compared with those of other municipalities. The aim is to identify and define the specifics of the financing of small municipalities.

This thesis deals with description and evaluation of the status quo in terms of Slavonice city in a question of drawing funds from both the national and European sources. Work consists of the theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part consists of regional issues and EU structural policy and the Czech Republic, municipalities and financing its development. The practical part includes socio-economic characteristics of Slavonice city, which is connected to SWOT analysis of discussed area and outline a strategy that would lead to positive development of the city. Another part of this work is a summary of the grants from national and regional resource analysis and utilization of financial resources from EU funds in individual programming period. In conclusion, this work is presented a proposal for new financial incentives and design project, which reacts at 11th Call for NUTS II South-West.

The thesis focuses on the role of municipalities in the air protection, particularly on the legal instruments of municipalities within their individual and delegated jurisdiction. The thesis consists of six chapters. The first chapter is introductory and is aimed at the air as the subject of legislation. The second chapter focuses on legislation of municipalities and other chapters describe the role of municipalities in land use, placement and approval of stationary sources of pollution. Further chapter points out specific legal instruments used in transport and the last chapter deals with the possibilities of the municipalities in relation to air pollution by individuals. The electoral analysis, mainly detecting the causes of success of the particular political party, may bring important findings in the field of Czech democracy development and the society itself. The aim of the thesis is the geographic analysis of the elections (between the years 1990 - 2013), focused on the Green Party (GP), which exists at the Czech political scene since 1990. The main research purpose was to describe and evaluate the differences in the geographical distribution of the electoral support for the Green Party and to determine the factors, which affect the voters, since the party was found up to date, to the last elections at 2013. The special emphasis was put on the factor "air pollution". In the analytic part, the geographic distribution of electoral support is tested with the correlation analysis, coefficient of variance, LISA analysis and regression. As important result may be mentioned the geographical shift of the electoral support between years 1990 and 2013, from the east to the centre of the Republic, and farther to Moravia. The correlation coefficient shows the instability of the electoral base. It corresponds with the analysis of the chosen variables; educated people did not vote for the GP in 1990, whereas they supported GP since 2006 on. Similar evolution had the variable age,...

Subject of this thesis "Analysis of the Possibility to Draw Financial Means on the European Union's Funds for the Financing of Developing Activities in Municipalities, a concrete manifestation on an example of a municipality (town)" is to find to what extent towns look after their area development and how they use the possibility to draw financial means from the EU funds. The first part tackles the status of a municipality at present and possibilities of changes. The second part deals with the town's economy; the third focuses on possibilities of drawing subsidies at various levels of public administration to fund development activities of towns, mainly through EU funds. On those theoretical grounds, development potential of a concrete town is analysed and in consequence, future development activities and their possibility is explored.

This thesis focus on the analysis of the status of the municipal tax for spa or recreational stay and the municapal tax for accommodation in the revenue of selected municipalities in the Czech Republic, including their use in promoting tourism. The first part focuses on theoretical knowledge in the field of public revenues and is dedicated to the concept of local tax and its legal regulations. The analytical part contains a comparison of the position of these local taxes in terms of quantitative indicators, such as income from these local taxes or their share of tax revenue and results of a survey between mayors of selected municipalities divided for the purpose of this work into three categories - spa towns and municipalities , mountain resorts and popular tourist destinations. The results of the survey in the Czech Republic are compared with these local taxes in selected European cities. In conlusion, the results of the survey are discussed and furthermore, current legislation solutions are suggested which would streamline the use of municipal taxes for spa or recreational stay and accommodation.

The main target of this dissertation is to analyse the impact of legislative changes to the budgetary allocation of taxes to municipalities in last years with a focus on the reform of January 2013 for different types of municipalities according to their population. One of this thesis objectives is also to suggest recommendations for the future budgetary allocation of taxes on the basis of this analysis. Theoretical part defines basic concepts in the area of municipalities income and looks into the theory of fiscal federalism.The second chapter of the theoretical part concerns itself with the detailed analysis of the development of the budgetary allocation of taxes until 2013. The practical part is constituted by the prediction of the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic and is followed by an analysis of shared taxes in selected municipalities of South Bohemian Region and their development. On the basis of this analysis, the impacts in selected municipalities are analysed and possible recommendations are specified for the future development of the budgetary allocation of taxes.

Obsahem diplomové práce je analýza dvou hypotéz týkajících se financování obcí a měst a následné ověření, zda testované hypotézy platí či ne. Jednotlivé hypotézy zkoumají finanční soběstačnost obcí, kritéria pro přerozdělení sdílených daňových příjmů a dopady novely zákona č. 243/2000 Sb., o rozpočtovém určení daní, na rozpočty malých obcí. Práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol. První kapitola tvoří teoretický základ pro analýzu. Zabývá se charakteristikou a rozpočtem obce. Druhá kapitola je nosnou částí celé práce. Je zde analyzován rozpočet obce Vysoké Pole a dopady novely zákona o rozpočtovém určení daní na výši rozpočtových příjmů obce Vysoké Pole. Ve třetí závěrečné kapitole jsou obsaženy dílčí výsledky z analýzy, na základě těchto výsledků dochází k potvrzení stanovených hypotéz.

This diploma thesis evaluates the present standing of the wind energy in the Czech republic and in the world. It targets the results of new installed wind power stations to the economy. It ilustrates the preparation procedure. It shows the reasons why to invest to the wind energy. It is concerned with the question, if the building-up of wind power plant has the perspective of economic efficiency. It points out the effect on the environment and health.

In my master thesis I will focus on advantages of co-operation small villages and their expectant development. The theoretic part of thesis target the legislative and socioeconomic aspects of municipal co-operation. Principal aim is giving account of positive and negative impacts of function and next development of co-operation smaller municipalities and their staying in residential structure. Next part will be attended to association of municipalities and legal entities called Sdružení Růže. This is situated in the south part of Czech republic. I will analyze kinds of their activities and determinate limits and barriers of their development by socioeconomic analysis territory.
