This thesis focuses on the general and economic characteristics of Norway, Iceland and Sweden. Analysis is made primarily of the economic situations of the individual countries and their relationships to the Czech Republic, focusing on economic development, principal areas of economic activity and foreign trade. The impact of these factors on the relationships of these countries to the Czech Republic is examined, specifically in the areas of the import/export commodity structure and the resulting balance of trade. The thesis also evaluates the effect of the global economic crisis on trade relations with the Czech Republic.

The master thesis discusses the development of automotive industry in foreign trade of Czech Republic in 1993-2009. The thesis consists of 3 main parts: the first part deals with production of czech producers as object of following exports, the second part documents import of automobiles into the Czech Republic and the third part describes and analyses development of foreign trade and the role of automotive industry in foreign trade of Czech Republic.

The state financial support of export is a part of the general economic policy of many countries. The thesis describes and compares systems of state financial support of export which are provided in the Czech republic and Italy, presented by specialized institutions (Česká exportní banka, Exportní garanční a pojišťovací společnost, Societa Italiana per le Imprese all' Estero, Istituto per i Servizi Assicurativi del Commercio Estero) and export strategies of both countries. Different aspects of comparison are the campaign and accessability of information, the institutional comparison and the pro-export strategies one. It is important to have well-structured and institutionally secured system of the state export support. The global crisis was an impulse for both countries to provide even more effective help to their international trade entrepreneurs.

The aim of this thesis consists of defining a set of recommendations that should lead to more successful e-commerce website of EuroCup Agency s.r.o. The aim also consists of creating a schedule of their realization, setting of the complete realization goals and realizing of the recommendations that belong to the first phase. The thesis is based on theoretical presentation of possible steps that could be realized for improving e-shops' successfulness, and on extensive analysis of the monitored e-commerce website. This analysis is focused on the company's market, target segments and competitors, company's sales, offline conversion rate, statistics measured by Google Analytics tool, and usability of the e-commerce website.

World Trade Organization and European Union - the International Trade Aspects of their Relationship The purpose of this thesis is to provide an overall and comparative insight into the relation of the World Trade Organization and the European Union, both being the most influential entities in scope of international trade. The relationship of these two organizations is complex and needs to be assessed with regard to various circumstances - primarily, there is a questionable relationship between the legal systems of those entities, complicated by the attitude of the European Union towards the law (or agreements) of the World Trade Organization. Secondly, both the European Union and the World Trade Organization represent individual and separate entities acting in the area of international trade and thirdly, the European Union is a Member of the World Trade Organization. The disertation thesis deals with the market abuse through the market manipulation. Its focuses, in particular, to the merits of the regulation itself and specific regimentation. Manipulation is one of two pillars which creates the subject of the area of law dealing with market abuse. The thesis is divided into five basic parts, which are further divided into seventeen chapters. We proceed from the general definition of basic concepts, categories, and economic context to clarify a particular concept of manipulation and its operation in practice to particular subject matters of manipulation. The conclusion is then added to the list of negative description and liability arising from manipulation. The first five chapters, which are contained in Part A deals with general introductory remarks (Chapter 1), including notes dealing with the concept and methodology of the thesis, its objectives and determination of verified hypotheses (Chapters 3, 4 and 5). The subject matter of this dissertation entitled "Dispute Settlement System in the World Trade Organization, developments and future prospects" is to examine dispute settlement system in the world trade, since the establishment of the World Trade Organization's predecessor - the GATT, until now. Besides the historical introduction into the area, the dissertation provides a comparison of these two consecutive systems and their main goals. Using available corresponding case law provided by panels and the Appellate Body, this dissertation covers the procedures and principles based on which the dispute settlement system currently stands. The secondary but not less important topic are the developing countries, their role in the system and inequality of the system related thereto. This inequality of the system lies mainly in the compliance issues. The dispute settlement system includes certain remedies in order to enforce the decisions and recommendations of the respective tribunals, but it is fair to say that they are not effective enough and tend to favour the developed countries. This dissertation also tries to find the solutions to the listed problems, mainly from the perspective of a proper compliance.

Práce se zabývá podnikatelským prostředím, obchodními zvyklostmi a kulturními specifiky Austrálie. Dále se zaměřuje na charakteristiku země, zahraniční obchod a podmínky pro podnikání v zemi. Věnuje se zvláštnostem australské kultury a jejich vlivu na obchodní jednání s australskými obchodními partnery. Snaží se shrnout základní doporučení pro úspěšné jednání českých podnikatelských subjektů s australskou stranou. Práce rovněž analyzuje vzájemnou spolupráci České republiky a Austrálie v obchodně-ekonomické oblasti a nastiňuje investiční možnosti na australském kontinentu.

Práce analyzuje zahraničně obchodní vývoj v České republice po roce 1989, resp. 1993 do současnosti v makroekonomických souvislostech. Sleduje vývoj vybraných agregovaných veličin z časového hlediska (funkční otevřenost ekonomiky, dynamika zahraničního obchodu, teritoriální struktura, komoditní struktura, vnější rovnováha, struktura platební bilance, zahraniční zadluženost, směnné relace, reálný efektivní směnný kurz, transformační výkon ekonomiky, důchodové vazby zahraničního obchodu). Cílem a výsledkem práce je zhodnocení uskutečněných vývojových změn na bázi sledovaných časových řad, zhodnocení dosaženého pokroku nebo přetrvávajících rezerv ve vývoji, zamyšlení se nad vzájemnými vývojovými souvislostmi.

Diplomová práce se zabývá hospodářskými vztahy mezi Českou republikou a Rakouskem. Důraz je kladen na obecnou a ekonomickou charakteristiku současného Rakouska, vývoj vzájemných vztahů ČR a Rakouska, bilaterální zahraniční obchod, pozornost je věnována též problematice přímých zahraničních investic. Definovány jsou hlavní perspektivy vzájemných hospodářských vztahů, uvedeny jsou 2 příklady z reálného podnikatelského prostředí. V neposlední řadě práce srovnává české a rakouské obchodní i kulturní zvyklosti a definuje shodné a odlišné znaky obou kultur. V závěru jsou stručně shrnuty nejdůležitější poznatky a východiska pro další vývoj vzájemných česko-rakouských vztahů.
