Legal instruments of ensuring access to land This thesis is concerned with an analysis of legal instruments of private and public law, which are able to ensure an access to land. The thesis is written from a perspective of a land owner without an access or with a difficult access to his land. Hence the content of this thesis is limited to legal instruments protecting such owner. The aim of the thesis is to cover all the legal options of ensuring an access to land, provide a detailed analysis of each instrument and further consider its frequency and suitability for general practice. In addition, I also present comparison of the instruments from the aspect of procedural law. Within the thesis I make an extensive use of case law, which illustrates both the potential development of legislation and familiarizes the reader with an abstract legal terminology by its application to real-life situations. The thesis is divided into nine chapters, whereas the chapter one provides a classification of the legal instruments from the private and public law perspective and a classification into a voluntary and a forced access. This diploma thesis deals with access to environmental information and access to justice in environmental matters introduced by Aarhus Convention in the specific conditions of Czech Republic and Ireland. These rights are considered to be very important tools for environmental protection. At a time when people threaten their own existence by negative interference with the environment it is necessary that effective means for its protection exist. These means are access to environmental information and access to justice in environmental matters, which together can be called as environmental procedural rights. The first chapter of this thesis presents the sources of environmental procedural law and observes the development of law at international, European and national level. The most important international document in this field is the Aarhus Convention that was adopted in 1998 by most of the European countries and that provides for access to environmental information, access to justice and public participation in environmental decision-making. The diploma thesis deals with current issues of risk management in a selected insurance company. The thesis is conceptually divided into two parts the literature recherche and the empirical part. The first section introduces the individual risks and the basic methods of the quantification of the risks which affect the functioning of commercial insurances. A new system of European insurance regulation, Solvency II, is also described. The empirical part of the diploma thesis deals with the risk quantification of the selected insurance company according to the standard and internal model. The thesis is concluded with the evaluation of the risk management in the selected insurance company and of the company preparedness for the regulatory regime Solvency II. Based on this quantification, the recommendations are put forward to improve the risk management of the selected insurer.

This diploma thesis is concerned with the use of Suggestopedia and Superlearning in English language teaching. The theoretical part focuses on the historical and theoretical context of the methods, the description of their aims, processes and techniques. Furthermore, Communicative approach and its closely related methods are briefly explained, as they are also connected to Altissima language school where the research was done. The practical part deals with the analysis of two observed lessons where the principles of Suggestopedia and Superlearning were used. Moreover, the lectors' statements and learners' comments are scrutinized.

The thesis serves as a comparison of valuation processes, which are being used in the CZ and the US. It brings information about appraisal practice in the CZ and the US. It describes individual valuation approaches and definitions of important variables according to the available literature. Moreover, the thesis focuses deeper on market approach valuation. It shows differences in individual processes and approaches on the application of processes on selected example and then uses obtained differences to determine recommended changes. In shows different structures of appraisal reports in the conclusion too.

The diploma thesis is focused on the design and implementation of the remote access to ERP system QI. The paper explains theoretical basics of the programming applications for Android platform, web services based on the SOAP protocol, the information system QI and development tool QI Builder. On the basis of the requirements the solution of mobile client is designed, implemented and tested. In conclusion, the achieved results are discussed as well as the future possibilities are presented.

The Diploma thesis deals with the risk management in an insurance company. The main goal of the thesis is to determine the process of the risk management in insurance companies and to compare this process with the theory and with requirements of directive Solvency II. The first part of the thesis specifies the issue from a theoretical view. The second part focuses on a real situation in insurance companies and concrete approaches of quantitative assessment of risks, such a Value at Risk and stress testing. The result of the thesis is the evaluation of readiness of insurance companies for implementation of directive Solvency II and recommendations for an improvement of the process of risk management.

The goal of this diploma thesis is the evaluation of the document of Integrated Development Plan (IDP) of the city Kroměříž and subsequent provision of recommendations to make more effective communication between interest groups to the IDP and recommendation of activities which could be suitable for realization to future. The diploma thesis is split into two parts, theoretical and practical part. The literature linked to the theme of the strategic planning and regional development is introduced in the theoretical part. The theoretical bases are essential for understanding the theory and its relation to the practical part. The fundamental part of the thesis is dedicated to evaluation of the IDP Kroměříž through analysis of stakeholder, then according of the methodological guideline issued by the Ministry for Regional Development and by following the parent documents. Thanks to the analysis was evaluated state and effectiveness of the involvement of interest groups to the process of the strategic planning. At the end of the thesis are discussed possible steps for gaining further development of the communication with stakeholders and field of the strategic planning.

Species distribution models (SDM) are widely used tool in biogeography, macroecology and nature conservation. With gradual development, it has become an important means used by, for example, in determining the potentially threatened locations by invasive species, or studying the impact of climate change on biodiversity. With the progressive development it becomes obvious that one of the major factors limiting the species distribution modelling are input data. The presence data are most readily available, but they suffer from an uneven collection, for example, with a predominance of records in easily accessible locations. The aim of this work is to show, that popular climate filtering of presence data input, in order to eliminate uneven sampling, affects the final model in a negative way. For this purpose, there were virtual sorts of different species and different prevalence of recorded occurrences on the territory of the Iberian Peninsula generated. Subsequently, species distribution models with and without climate filters were created by using Maxent. They were evaluated by AUC. The difference between virtual reality, which is presented to the suitability of the virtual species, and the resulting model was tested by paired T test. Comparison of the AUC confirmed that the species distribution models based on climate filtering have better discriminative ability. However, it only points to the skilful work with the selected sample bias that already does not reflect reality. In contrast, comparison of the differences between virtual reality and the models with and without climate filtering using a paired T test shows greater congruence between unfiltered models and virtual reality. Thus it was proved that the climate filtering does not lead to higher validity species distribution models.

The thesis focuses on the issue of Agile approach Scrum in IT project management, namely the description and analysis of the current state of Agile approaches in selected company and the subsequent drafting own proposals for improvement of the management of IT projects. A literature background review deals with the basic characteristics and rules of agile approach Scrum. In the practical part of the Thesis is introduced the company Juicymo s.r.o. After a brief description of the company, the current state of agile approach to IT project management is described and analyzed. The thesis primarily described in detail cases in which the management of the company differs from the definitions and rules of Scrum. The thesis also drawn up concrete proposals on how to improve the current state of management of the selected company.
