21	Náměstí míru - dostavba a rekonstrukce veřejného prostoru v Brně / Náměstí míru - extension and rehabilitation of public space in Brno Šarmanová, Zuzana January 2017 (has links) The goal of my work was to design a good working complex of buildings with a diverse functional structure which is missing in Masaryk's district a little. The design is highly influenced by the character of Masaryk's quarter, transport solutions and other factors that emerged from individual territorial analyzes. Crucial to my design was the position of the tram loop. I decided to move the loop to the park, which allowed me to create a quiet square for people and not for transport. Designed apartment houses create block structure by their shape and layout. The site is densely bulit with terraced houses that appear in this locality. Another inspiration for me was the area around Pod kaštany Street. Buildings are designed as a four-storey. The fourth floor is retreated to three-meter to creating roof terraces for flats in last storey. The mass of the house is created by simple blocks with an average size of 72 x 12 m. They are curved at the end to create form a block structure. There is always a 9 m space between these intersections, which forms the entrance to the courtyard. The views of the courtyards repeat the principle of distance between family houses with views of their private gardens. In addition to residential buildings, I have also designed a library with a social center, a town hall that creates a counterbalance to the church of St. Augustine and also a smaller sports hall. All these buildings work together to bring more diversity into Masaryk's neighborhood, whether in terms of civic amenities or social composition of the population.
22	Rehabilitace historického jádra a přilehlého okolí města Kyjov se zaměřením na veřejný prostor / The Rehabilitation of the historical center and adjacent surroundings of Kyjov with a focus on the public space Lípová, Markéta January 2018 (has links) The subject of the diploma thesis is “Rehabilitation of the historical center and the surrounding neighborhoods in Kyjov with main focus on public space”. Urbanistic solution covers an area in close distance from the Masaryk Square, where the effort is to offer housing in the newly designed residential district. Diploma thesis also contains a design for completion and increase of capacity of the social services complex which is adjacent to the park by Saint Josef Chapel. This park is a part of the urbanistic design as well. The studied area is bordered by the streets of Újezd, Dobrovského, Dvořákova, Klvaňova, Brandlova and Palackého třída. Although Kyjov is situated mostly on plains the studied area is in a hilly and disunited part of the city. Buildings in this area are rather low-rise and mainly used for housing purposes. The design is focused on offering varied housing, which relates to the existing buildings and develops unused public space. Scope of this diploma thesis also contains a vision for the year 2070. The vision focuses on an area currently with high-rise blocks of flats. This area is adjacent to the newly designed residential district.
23	Rehabilitace historického jádra a přilehlého okolí města Kyjov se zaměřením na veřejný prostor / The Rehabilitation of the historical center and adjacent surroundings of Kyjov with a focus on the public space Hlubinková, Monika January 2018 (has links) The diploma thesis related to rehabilitation of the historical inside and adjacent neighborhood Kyjov deals with the analysis of the actual state of the city, the evaluation of its problems and potential and the subsequent design of the urbanistic, transport and functional solution. The goal of the thesis is to create better life conditions and thus to attract more new inhabitants to the city. Building new apartment buildings, leisure centers and coworking centers could help to achieve the goal. Designing of new public spaces, which offer plenty of meeting and relaxing places makes the life more quality. The new form of the city is designed with an emphasis on urbanistic contemporary approaches and views, and related to the view of the city as a safe place for pedestrians.

Čech, Daniel January 2021 (has links) The aim of the design was to create a functional urban structure in Náměšť nad Oslavou, which works on the principles of a modern city of the 21st century, but is also inspired by elements of a medieval city. So it is a marriage of the old with the new. On this basis, a compact functional structure was designed, which functions as a complement to the existing development and does not serve as a separate unit. In the new development, therefore, elements were designed to help improve the quality of life throughout the city. Emphasis was placed on the unique character of the development, a car-free center, plenty of green space and work with natural resources. The design has a lifespan of tens to hundreds of years. The proposed development can later be extended to the space, but also to the height.
25	Obytný soubor Brno-Řečkovice / Residential complex Brno - Reckovice Macečková, Eliška January 2013 (has links) The area is located in the north part of Brno (Řečkovice a Mokrá Hora) and is surrounded by a housing estate. To the south of this area is a complex of former barracks. In our project we propose to use the area as a residential district with public amenities. Sports ground and the park are included. Currently there are terraced houses and separated family houses. We especially use low-floor blocks of houses with no more than four floors. Orientation of the blocks corresponds with the fact that this area is on the north slope. Family houses with gardens are situated on the east side of the area. The area is accessible from the Žilkova street (on the east) and from the Terezy Novákové street (on the west) – buildings on this street make a noise barrier. The square of our area is next to this street and represents a public place with public amenities (for example a retirement house and a school of art), underground car park and a pedestrian precint leading to the park. A tram stop is nearby. Sports ground and the park are situated in the north part of the area. In the central part we find the kindergarten. Underground car parks for the residents are under the blocks and its courtyards.
26	Brownfieldy v ČR v návaznosti na historické centrum / Brownfields in the Czech Republic in connection with historical centers Murárová, Lucia January 2019 (has links) The subject of the Diploma thesis is an urban study in the area of the former part of Tepna in Náchod. The Tepna area is largely after demolition and is currently dilapidating. This area has the potential for development and use, located within a short walking distance from the historic city center and at the same time from the residential area in the northern part of Náchod. Above the solved area is the castle, which is a dominant and a city landmark. The aim of the proposal was to use the potential of the territory at most, but at the same time to approach the surrounding landscape sensitively and to connect the urban character of the surrounding urban structure of the city and, conversely, the existing buildings of unclosed blocks are supplemented by new development.

28	Brněnské nábřeží - rehabilitace brněnských řek a jejich blízkého okolí / Brno waterfront - rehabilitation of rivers and their surrounding areas Vrba, Petr January 2017 (has links) The theme of the diploma thesis "Brno waterfront - rehabilitation of the Brno rivers and their surroundings" is creating an urban proposal in Brno, Zábrdovice, on the eastern waterfront of the Svitava river. The intention is to use the potential of the area and create the possibility of lucrative housing by river with a commercial ground floor, services, leisure time park with a multifunctional playground and easy direct access to the Svitava river. The studied location, has an area of 6.32 hectares andis defined mainly by the Zábrdovická Street and the Svitava River near the former Premonstratensian Monastery, which now serves as a Military Hospital. At present, the location has mainly low-floor industrial buildings with storage and expedition functions. The proposed buildings relate to existing buildings on the east and west banks of the Svitava River. They have the form of four to six storey blocks, which are characteristic for this area. The park connects to the revitalized eastern embankment of the river at the site of a new footbridgethat connects both rive sides and stairs. They provide space formeetings and relaxation, but also serve as a flood control in the event of a water inflow. Along the Svitava River there is a sidewalk with street alleyways and access to the river.
29	Návrh sídelní struktury soudobého města v historickém prostředí. / Design of settlement structure of contemporary city in historical context. Macholánová, Petra January 2020 (has links) The diploma thesis deals with an urban study on the territory of Červený kopec, specifically in the part of the territory of Stráň. It is a locality stated as a brownfield Kohnova cihelna. The proposal aims to make the most of the potential of this site, which lies in its proximity to the city center, the neighborhood of the national natural monument, a significant area of greenery and the views that this place provides due to its topographic situation. A new city district is proposed on the area of 18 hectares, which would cover one of the "brownfield holes" on the map of the city of Brno and at the same time help against the outflow of population to the outskirts of the city and against the creation of urban satellites. Numerous public opinion polls show that they would like to live close to the city, but at the same time especially young families long for their own house in a quiet countryside location. Therefore, a compact development of terraced houses, terrace villas and blocks of flats with private courtyards is proposed here, complemented by quality public space and civic amenities. This new city district would offer housing for about 3,500 new residents.
30	Veřejná prostranství města Brna - teoretická práce / Public spaces of the city of Brno - theoretical work Lelkes, Ivana January 2015 (has links) Master´s thesis adresses the issue of public spaces of inner city of Brno. These spaces have good prerequisities to become attractive places for everyday use or for spending a good free time. These prerequsities include for example compact city structure, well defined public spaces, walking city distances, presence of public and commercial facilities and distinctive genius loci. But public spaces in these localities often do not fulfill their own potential and stay as average free space inbetween buildings. Thesis suggests a detailed system for categorisation of squares and streets in the inner city of Brno and examines the reasons for potential non-fulfillment on these typologies, it tries to find out the problems of public spaces and how they can be solved.
