Na literatura do Brasil-Colônia é possível evidenciar concepções de homem e de conhecimentos psicológicos elaborados pelo contexto cultural e social do período barroco, que são enfocados pela história dos Saberes Psicológicos. A história dos Saberes Psicológicos no Brasil tem seu legado no período colonial e atualmente também podemos tomar tal conhecimento a fim de depreender a concepção de homem e as formas de conhecimento que foram se desenvolvendo desde aquele período em nossa cultura. No cenário cultural do século XVIII, dentre os representantes da prosa barroca destaca-se Nuno Marques Pereira, considerado um dos fundadores da narrativa ficcional brasileira com a obra Compêndio Narrativo do Peregrino da América (1728). A obra, com narrativa em primeira pessoa, traz o diálogo entre um Peregrino que sai das terras da Bahia rumo à Minas Gerais e um Ancião, remontado a alegoria da existência humana como peregrinação. Embora não haja uma ciência psicológica na época, a obra de Nuno Marques Pereira aponta concepções que permitem traçar conhecimentos sobre o dinamismo psíquico do homem barroco. A peregrinação denota assim, o homem em movimento, o dinamismo e a transitoriedade da vida, em uma existência entrelaçada na significação e relação com o espiritual e o divino. A pesquisa investigou na referida obra os Saberes Psicológicos na narrativa por meio do tópico peregrinação, bem como os conhecimentos referentes à elaboração de conceitos e práticas que abrangiam a dimensão psicológica da experiência humana. Para tanto o objeto foi analisado a partir do enfoque da Historiografia e também a partir da proposta colocada por Pécora em seu livro Teatro do Sacramento, buscando detectar a ocorrência sistemática de alguns tópicos por meio das formulações de base e suas articulações nas significações discursivas, considerando a organização e pertinência histórica. Como resultado, foi possível destacar tópicos relacionados à concepção de pessoa proposta na obra e tópicos que abordaram o dinamismo dos processos psíquicos, tais como temperamentos, funções psicológicas, saúde corporal e espiritual, afetos e livre-arbítrio. Desse modo, a análise evidenciou que os conhecimentos formulados no âmbito do psiquismo humano estão fundamentados em uma matriz aristotélico-tomista, na qual o homem é reconhecido em sua integralidade, reunindo em si as dimensões somáticas, anímicas e espirituais. / It is possible to define conceptions about human kind and psychological knowledge, elaborated by social and cultural context at colonial age in Brazil history. The history of Psychological Knowledge in Brazil has its legacy dated from colonial era. Nowadays, it is possible to analyze that knowledge in order to understand the evolution of the concepts of human being and knowledge understanding from then on. In the XVIII century, among baroque writers, Nuno Marques Pereira has a special role. Regarded as a founder of Brazilian fictional prose, his opera prima Compêndio Narrativo do Peregrino da América (1728) tells, in first person, a dialog between a Pilgrim, going from Bahia to Minas Gerais, and an Ancient man. The dialog retells the metaphor of human life as peregrination. Although there wasnt a Psychological Science at his time, Nuno Marques Pereira works allows to dive into psychic dynamics of baroque man. The peregrination denotes a man in movement, the dynamics and fugacity of life in an existence interweave in the signification of the relation with the spiritual and divine. This thesis focuses on the psychological knowledge in Nunos work through the topic pilgrimage, as well as the knowledge referent to concept and practice elaboration about the psychological dimension of human experience. To fulfill this task, Nunos works was analyzed from the historiographical viewpoint and from Pécoras proposal presented in this book Teatro do Sacramento, trying to search the systematic occurrence of selected topics through base formulations and its articulations on discursive significations. As a result, it was possible to highlight topics related to the conception of human person proposed in Nunos work, as well as topics tackling the psychic process dynamics, moods, psychological functions, body and spiritual health, emotions and free will. This way, the analysis of Nunos work denoted that the knowledge formulated at the human psychic scope are rooted in an Aristotelian-Thomist ground, where man is integrally recognized, embodying somatic, soul-like and spiritual dimensions.

O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar a obra Carinhoso de autoria do maestro, compositor e arranjador Cyro Pereira a fim de determinar a distância entre esta peça e a composição original de Pixinguinha. Para isso, analisamos ambas as obras do ponto de vista formal, harmônico e melódico. Também examinamos as definições pertencentes aos universos erudito e popular como arranjo, fantasia, variação e \'borrowing\' . Esta pesquisa dos aspectos teóricos forneceram elementos para responder a importante questão que é o tema central desta dissertação: Carinhoso de Cyro Pereira é arranjo ou composição? / This research intends to analyze the musical piece Carinhoso by the conductor, composer and arranger Cyro Pereira in order to point out the differences between this piece and the original one by Pixinguinha. I worked on a formal, harmonic and melodic analysis of these pieces. I also examined the definitions referred to the erudite and popular universes of arrangement. The investigation of the theoretical aspects gave me elements to answer the important question, which is the central theme of this work: is Carinhoso by Cyro Pereira an arrangement or a composition?

As vinte biografias produzidas pelo historiador nesse trabalho constituem a fonte principal desta pesquisa. Thus, the main goal of this dissertation is to offer interpretative ideas based on the analysis of the most important aspects of this aesthetics. For this intent, we have done personal interviews with the composer, performers and scholars. We have also done extensive research in the composer personal files and archives, as well as at the Joaquim Nabuco s Foundation and the Federal University of Pernambuco libraries. The analysis of the piece was focused mainly on the observation of the compositional process, besides the idiomatic use of the instrument and its relationships with popular and folkloric references as agents of the musical style. The hypotheses were evaluated and confirmed empirically, demonstrating the significance of theoretical study, and its relation to interpretative issues, in the search for a better performance. / Este trabalho tem como objetivo abordar os aspectos históricos, estéticos e interpretativos do Concertino em Lá Maior para Violino e Orquestra de Cordas (1996-2001), de Clóvis Pereira, única obra armorial concertante para esse instrumento, bem como criar critérios interpretativos através da análise da obra, dentro da perspectiva violinística. A estratégia metodológica empregada consistiu na pesquisa documental e bibliográfica na Fundação Joaquim Nabuco, na Biblioteca da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco e no acervo particular do compositor, bem como entrevistas não diretivas e dirigidas a intérpretes e outros pesquisadores. A análise da obra consistiu na observação dos processos técnicocomposicionais, no uso dos instrumentos e no correlacionamento dos argumentos e das referências folclórico-populares como agentes do discurso musical do Concertino. As hipóteses foram confirmadas e avaliadas empiricamente e os resultados demonstraram a importância do estudo teórico em música e da consciência interpretativa para uma melhor performance.

Esta tese realiza um estudo sobre o itinerário político e intelectual de Astrojildo Pereira, da primeira à sexta década do século XX no Brasil. Com base nos escritos do autor, são analisadas a sua adesão ao anarquismo e as posteriores influências do marxismo e da Revolução Russa em sua elaboração e ação política. As linhas de interpretação que se encontravam em conflito na sociedade brasileira são contextualizadas, tendo como referências fundamentais a produção intelectual e a ação militante de Astrojildo. Procede-se ainda à análise da maneira pela qual tais referências mostram-se particularmente expressas nas estruturas de sociabilidade vividas por Astrojildo Pereira até o começo da segunda metade do século XX. / This thesis conducts a study of the political and intellectual trajectory of Astrojildo Pereira, from the first through the sixth decade of the century in Brazil. On the basis of the authors writings, this work analyzes its adherence to anarchism and the subsequent influences of Marxism and the Russian Revolution have been analyzed in his elaboration and political action. The lines of the conflicting interpretation found in the Brazilian societyare contextualized, having the intellectual production and militant action of Astrojildo as fundamental references. The manner by which such references are particularly expressed in the structures of the sociability experienced by Astrojildo Pereira until the beginning of the second half of the XX century is also analyzed.

O presente trabalho tem por finalidade discutir a leitura que Lucia Miguel Pereira faz de Virginia Woolf em quatro ensaios, Dualidade de Virginia Woolf, Crítica e feminismo, O Big Ben e o carrilhão fantasista e Assombração, nos quais explora aspectos importantes dos ensaios e romances da escritora inglesa. Para Lucia Miguel Pereira, a nova forma do ensaio idealizada por Woolf consiste em uma renovação estética que a distingue de seus predecessores e contemporâneos pela união da linguagem crítica com a narrativa. Denominada de abordagem humanista pela crítica brasileira, a concepção de Woolf possibilita um espaço de criação artística capaz de envolver o leitor e estabelecer uma relação de intensa proximidade com ele. Entretanto, as explicações de natureza estética de Woolf, que congregam mito e movimento feminista para a criação dessa nova forma, são vistas por Pereira mais como resultado de uma visão pessoal da escritora do que como crítica literária propriamente dita. Com relação ao tempo ficcional, seguindo a sugestão de Lucia Miguel Pereira a respeito da necessidade de interação entre tempo cronológico e psicológico no romance, é feita uma leitura comparativa de To the lighthouse e Mrs. Dalloway, de Virginia Woolf, e Amanhecer, da autoria da escritora brasileira, a fim de demonstrar como ambas lidaram com a temporalidade no romance. O fio condutor da análise é a proposta estética de Woolf e o ponto de vista da crítica brasileira. / This thesis aims at investigating Lucia Miguel Pereiras reading of Virginia Woolf in four of her articles, Dualidade de Virginia Woolf, Crítica e feminismo, O Big Ben e o carrilhão fantasista, and Assombração, in which she explores key aspects of the English writers essays and novels. According to Lucia Miguel Pereira, Woolfs essays are formally innovative and her renewal of the form distinguishes her from her predecessors and contemporaries. Such differences are reinforced by the simultaneous use of narrative and critical language, which raises the essay to status of an artistic creation, capable of involving the reader by means of an interaction and closeness which Pereira names as a humanistic approach. However, Pereira considers Woolfs explanations of her aesthetics, which include myth and feminism, as resulting much more from her very personal stance than as literary criticism as such. As for fictional time, taking up Lucia Miguel Pereiras suggestion about the necessary interaction between chronological and psychological time in the novel, we compare To the lighthouse and Mrs. Dalloway, by Virginia Woolf, and Amanhecer, by the Brazilian novelist, in order to demonstrate how both writers deal with temporality in the novel, bearing in mind Woolfs aesthetic proposal and the Brazilian critics point of view.

A partir da concepção de espaço de Milton Santos, foi feita uma análise da influência dessa cultura na transformação daquele espaço geográfico, através de entrevistas e análise documental iconográfica. Num primeiro momento, foram abordados aspectos da imigração açoriana para o Brasil, seguidos de uma contextualização sobre o município de Canguçu e presença açoriana e, por último, um estudo mais detalhado da localidade de Coxilha dos Pereira, baseado na obra de Milton Santos, tendo o espaço como movimento, processo, neste caso, desde a chegada do açoriano e do descendente até o momento presente. / This work aims to investigate the Azorean influence in the process of transformation of the space of Coxilha of Pereira, third district of Canguçu-RS. Starting from the conception of space of Milton Santos, it was made an analysis of the influence of that culture in the transformation of that geographical space, through interviews and documental analysis iconographic. In a first moment, aspects of the Azorean immigration were approached to Brazil, following by a contextualization on the city of Canguçu and Azorean presence and, finally, a more detailed study of the place of Coxilha of Pereira, based on Milton Santos work, having the space as movement, process, in this case, since the arrival of the Azorean and of the descendant to the present moment.
