This Master’s thesis focuses on the design of vertical heat recovery steam generators. This work focuses on three main objectives. The first objective is to describe the heat recovery steam generators, there basic principle and construction. The second focal objective is thermal calculation, design of heat tranfer surfaces and choice of materials. The third objective was to calculate the boiler loss, hydraulic calculation and subsequent design of the drum dimensions.

The text part deals mainly with the explanation of the types of individual buildings and then with the list of the pros and cons of the different technologies, compared buildings. The conclusion mainly concerns the evaluation of budgets and recommendations where it is worth building the compared buildings and why.

The introduction of this Master’s thesis describes a historical and technological evolution of the terminal application, including its advantages and disadvantages. In the following part, a general description of the services and their understanding are mentioned. The benefits and general advantages of the terminal services are described. For the each type of the terminal service, all the functions, options, exact advantages and disadvantages are described. Consequently, the study of the suitability of the compression is presented. On the demo application, the impact of an excessive (voluntary) loss of information is demonstrated. In the next part, the thesis deals with the most frequently used remote-control applications. The tests and comparisons are made as well. The fifth chapter is the fundamental part of this work. The design approach of the workbench is presented there. Consequently, the design approach and system implementation intended for the supervision and control is described. This system makes the user possible to observe other user’s activities and also to control their workstations. The supervising user can also access their drives and other memory devices, which are located in the monitored workstation. The communication is compressed and encrypted. The symmetric and asymmetric encryption algorithms are used there. In the following part, there are two supplementary applications mentioned – application for the key generating and network file manager. In the end of my work, the results of the performance test and also the design of other improvements are presented.

The Master’s Thesis deals with supercapacitators based on principle of eletrical double layer. At the outset there is an explanation of supercapacitor working principal. We discussed advantages and disavantages supercapacitators compared with other related elements in electrotechnics. Materials based on carbon and their structure for production supercapacitators are described too. In next part of Thesis we mention different methods and techniques for the measurement and the evaluation of supercapacitators‘s capacities. Optimal materials for production supercapacitators are presented in conclusion.

This diploma evaluates methods for verification of key characteristics of a product using digital image processing techniques. At first, reasons why this work has been done are described followed by a list of all methods that were used in this diploma such as Hough Circle Transform and Flood Fill (Seed Fill) algorithm. Also, a new approach how to compensate non regularly illuminated scene, which is based on surface modeling with Bézier Surfaces, was developed. Moreover, the algorithm was implemented in the C++ programming language and some of the parts were also simulated using the MATLAB environment. The algorithm was evaluated based on the percentage level of recognition of the required parameters. Efficiency of the implementation is also important for the author.

The diploma thesis deals with the measurement of electromagnetic fields by the meter NARDA NBM 550. The aim of the paper is to introduce the possibilities of measurement of the electromagnetic field by this device, to study the feasibility of communication with computer, to create control program and to check its functionality. A description of the electromagnetic field properties is followed by the identification of the device main functions. Additionally, the operating program is described together with the draft of measuring workplace with its realization. The results of probationary measurements are presented in the end of the thesis.

Ventilační výpočty v synchronním stroji / Ventilation calculations in synchronous machine

The aim of the project was to get familiar with the environment of ANSYS CFX, create several models of fans and synchronous machine model in Autodesk inventor, create model of cooling medium flow through the machine with these fans and evaluation of results. Firstly the thesis describes the synchronous machine itself, losses of the machine, the flow of power of synchronous machine and methods of its cooling. Next the thesis describes each kind of heat transfer, laminar and turbulent flow. The thesis also refers of kind of the fans and the program used to calculate the flow Ansys CFX, including the method that Ansys used to calculate. The work describes the individual modification of fans and setting of calculation in ANSYS. Then displays the results of the analysis these fans for different numbers of fan blades and for modification of the fan. Then the thesis analyzes selected modifications due to changing speed. In the last chapter shows the analysis of flow in the machine with three different fans. In particular, there is shown the mass flow rate, pressure and its distribution on areas for evaluation.

Catheter ablation is a unique method for cardiac arrhythmias treatment based on creating spot lesions of radiofrequency energy using intracardiac ablation catheter. Transmurality of these lesions should be achieved for long-term therapeutic treatment effect. The degree of myocardial damage depth is reflected in the parameters of sensed intracardiac ECG. From research studies is evident that the change in morphology and deflection of ablation signal play a key role in the assessment of transmurality. This thesis consists of theoretical introduction to electrophysiology, proposal and realization of methods for objective assessment of transmurality by processing signals in time, frequency and time – frequency domain. The end of this diploma thesis includes the statistical analysis of these clinical dat and comparison of methods.

The subject of the thesis is the preparation of project documentation for construction of the new building boarding house with a wine cellar near the recreation area Leopoldov, the local Městyse Buchlovice. Due to the location near the attractive location with a rich tradition of folklore object at the same time offers space for a presentation and wine tasting for the public, with the possibility of organizing smaller events. For added convenience, the services offered includes the construction of a total capacity of 48 beds. The total required capacity are dealt with in two separate buildings of rectangular plan in mutually perpendicular arrangement. The visible design of both buildings respects the landscape and sensitive integration of the building into the surrounding buildings. SO-01 Wineries Object wineries (production 60.000l/rok) with a wine cellar for the production, storage and presentation of wine products, a lounge for 48 people and an accommodation for 10 persons.The building is brick, single-storey, basement, covered with a wooden roof truss attic, partially flat grass roof. SO-02 Guest house Construction of accommodation (guest house) with a capacity of 38 persons for accommodation of visitors wine cellar.
