Porovnání vybraných zimních stadionů v Praze / Comparison of the operation of selected ice stadiums in Prague.

Černý, Vítězslav January 2016 (has links)
Title: Comparison of the operation of selected ice stadiums in Prague. Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to compare selected ice stadiums to each others by using analysis. Furthrmore, the thesis should show the opportunities and threats of teh selected ice stadiums. Methods: The case analysis was chosen as the main research method. In the preparation of this analysis other methods, such as intentional selection, document analysis and semi-structured interview were applied. Based on the results the SWOT analysis was developed. Through this method the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the selected ice stadiums. SLEPT analysis was used to recognize factors, that affects selected ice stadiums. Results: The analysis shows that every single ice stadium is able to assure enough clients. Some cooperate with nearby schools, others are linked with ice hockey club. Three of selected ice stadiums are able to make profit, two are able not to lose money and two were not willing to provide their econimic information. It was also recognized, that there is a huge need to reconstruct some parts in almost every single ice stadium. We could also see that it is important to reach some money from grants. Key words: Ice stadium, ice-rink, cooling, services, document analysis, semi-structured...

Čtyřstěny a jejich vlastnosti / Tetrahedra and their properties

ČERVENKOVÁ, Kateřina January 2019 (has links)
This diploma thesis Tetrahedra and their properties summarizes the basic properties of tetrahedron. The main goal is to introduce the topic to a reader of this thesis. Author would like to provide basic information about the particular types of tetrahedra and their properties. I try to examine there a spatial analogy of selected terms of a triangle. Conditions for the existence of the orthocenter of a tetrahedron are derived. Then for a non-orthocetric tetrahedron the Monge point as its generalization is introduced. By most properties their proofs are given. In the final part worksheets for pupils of primary and secondary schools are designed. Pictures in the thesis are created in a geometrical program called GeoGebra 3D. These pictures can help the reader to understand this problem.

Využití simplexového algoritmu pro transformaci výroby / Use the simplex algorithm to transform production

GUROVIČOVÁ, Eva January 2014 (has links)
The aim of the thesis was to design the transformation of production using the simplex algorithm. My thesis is focus on the transformation of the original Bachelor thesis, for which I created the initial production of the holding, with a focus on plant and animal production. The transformation concentrates on the conversion of the milk's production to production focused on breeding cows without market milk production. The base stone was redoing the plant production. Plant production has been used not only for the production of custom feeding, but for the sale of plant commodities on the market to increase profits. The new production focuses on the cultivation of the crop production purely for their own consumption as feed for livestock. All profits create livestock production. The intention was therefore to transform the plant and livestock production, so as to obtain the most effective new way to use areas, for a change of the production.

Srovnání vybraných klasifikačních metod pro vícerozměrná data / Comparison of selected classification methods for multivariate data

Stecenková, Marina January 2012 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is comparison of selected classification methods which are logistic regression (binary and multinominal), multilayer perceptron and classification trees, CHAID and CRT. The first part is reminiscent of the theoretical basis of these methods and explains the nature of parameters of the models. The next section applies the above classification methods to the six data sets and then compares the outputs of these methods. Particular emphasis is placed on the discriminatory power rating models, which a separate chapter is devoted to. Rating discriminatory power of the model is based on the overall accuracy, F-measure and size of the area under the ROC curve. The benefit of this work is not only a comparison of selected classification methods based on statistical models evaluating discriminatory power, but also an overview of the strengths and weaknesses of each method.

Vliv omezujících stěn na proudění z ventilační vyústky / Influence of boundary walls on the flow from the ventilation outlet

Molčan, Filip January 2018 (has links)
The goal of this work is to experimentally assess the influence of limiting walls of Škoda Octavia 3 automobile cabin to the air jet flowing from the right-front situated automotive vent which is part of a car dashboard. The experiment is performed by the smoke visualization method. There is a single construction option measured for an experiment. The setup of the vanes direction and the air flow rate are modified for this option. The experiment is divided into two phases. In the first phase, the visualization of the free air flow is conducted. In the second phase, exit plates are constructed and consequently, the visualization of the wall-jet flow is conducted. The results of both are compared to each other. The results imply that the influence of the surrounding surfaces must be taken into account with the increasing flow rate for the vanes set in the direction of upper-right, middle-right, and middle-middle. There is a direct interaction between the flow and exit plates (the flow impact, the Coanda effect). The free flow does not contain the information about the mutual interaction between the flow and the exit plates, as it is in the case of the wall-jet flow. In the case of the wall-jet flow, the opening of the flow takes place due to the effect of the impact and the subsequential suction caused by the Coanda effect. The exit plates substituting the car dashboard and the front window contribute to the prevention of the air intake from surrounding space and consequently to earlier flow opening from the vent. The present work also contains the measurement methodology and the image evaluation, the comparison with previous free flow measurements (70% match) and the comparison to the measurement of hot-wire anemometry method.

Modifikace Navier-Stokesových rovnic za předpokladu kvazipotenciálního proudění / Modification of Navier_Stokes equations asuming the quasi-potential flow

Navrátil, Dušan January 2019 (has links)
The master's thesis deals with Navier-Stokes equations in curvilinear coordinates and their solution for quasi-potential flow. The emphasis is on detailed description of curvilinear space and its expression using Bézier curves, Bézier surfaces and Bézier bodies. Further, fundamental concepts of hydromechanics are defined, including potential and quasi-potential flow. Cauchy equations are derived as a result of the law of momentum conservation and continuity equation is derived as a result of principle of mass conservation. Navier-Stokes equations are then derived as a special case of Cauchy equations using Cauchy stress tensor of Newtonian compressible fluid. Further transformation into curvilinear coordinates is accomplished through differential operators in curvilinear coordinates and by using curvature vector of space curve. In the last section we use results from previous chapters to solve boundary value problem of quasi-potential flow, which was solved by finite difference method using Matlab environment.
