The aim of this diploma theses is to identify business risks, which threaten the firm KOVOLIT Česká spol. s r.o.. in the case of its other planned investments. They are proposed recommendations for reduction of its identified risks.

This diploma thesis is focused on business plan of a freshly established company. The company's core business is pharmacy service. Theory part describes important features to create business plan. Analytics part uses various analysis methods of external and internal environment. For this purposes, PEST and Porter's analysis have been used. Purpose part brings exact solutions for creating a business plan for ILIPHARM, s.r.o. company.

The diploma thesis focuses on defining of characteristics of lean manufacturing company with a focus on continuous material flow in production. Specifies elements of a lean company and contains a proposal for a new layout and a proposal for reducing downtime between production batches.

This diploma thesis is focused on marketing mix of company named Nedbal trading s.r.o. Thesis is divided into three parts. Introductory part is dedicated to theoretical foundations of the problematics. Second part starts with introduction of the analyzed company itself, then continues with individual analyses mentioned in theoretical part. In the last part are mentioned possible suggestions to improve marketing mix of the company determined according to previous analyses.

The diploma thesis focuses on the ways of waste management in an industrial enterprise and the possibilities for its improvement in terms of the waste management hierarchy. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the sustainable development of the company, environmental management systems, as well as state environmental policy. The thesis also describes the legislative framework relating to waste management and defines the rights and obligations relating to the generation, management, manipulation and treatment, and disposal of waste. The own part of the thesis discusses the current situation in the field of waste management, which has been analysed for the purposes of work. Based on this information, a method of waste management is proposed in the last part.

This diploma thesis deals with the investigation of possible dangers threatening human health+ that may arise during activities in the construction company P&P Stavební společnost and the health and safety management system in the company. The introductory chapter introduces the construction company and its focus. The next chapter presents the theoretical background and concepts occurring in the thesis. In the following chapter, the risks of a specific company order were identified and quantified using the FMEA method, and the completed "Check-list" required to obtain the Safe Company certificate is given. Lastly, there are proposed solutions to reduce the identified risks and to successfully obtain the Safe Company certificate.

The dissertation solves complex sale and purchase of a small farming business in period from February 2006 until June 2007. The progression including final valuation of entire selling process is for both seller and purchaser solved by the business legal issue, taxable and accounting view. Part of the dissertation is also a clarification of theoretical sale and purchase solvents of a business in Czech Republic.

Diploma thesis is focused on Safe company (original name „Bezpečný podnik“) program, which is in Czech Republic symbol for company´s extra care of safety workplace, protection of employee´s health and systemic conception of those sections. Thesis is split in more parts. Theoretical, where is stated general procedure of risk analysis, employer´s law obligations towards those risks and analysis of work accidents and its evolution in Czech Republic. In analytical part is introduced program itself, its origin, law sources, control areas, and then also its advantages and disadvantages. Realization of concrete company´s risk analysis comes as next. Practical part contains mainly student´s suggestions for provisions in field of risks rating and analysis for concrete workplaces of Teplárny Brno, a.s. Lastly, description of deficit removal from fractional inspections for upholding the certificate of complex Safe company´s audit is described.

The thesis aims to propose a form of implementation of the Balanced Scorecard method to management of a company in the field of nanotechnology. In the context of implementation of the Balanced Scorecard the thesis uses analysis of corporate activities through self-assessment based on EFQM Model Excellence. Theoretical parts of the thesis focus on defining strategic and financial analysis, EFQM Model Excellence and Balanced Scorecard. Following parts of the thesis are dedicated to practical implementation of the method into a particular company in the nanotechnology sector using strategic and financial analysis tools and EFQM excellence model.

The Diploma thesis is focused on economic evaluation of chosen agricultural company, which deals in crop production. The subsidiary company is located in eastern Slovakia and the main cultivated crops are wheat, rape, corn a soy bean. These crops and the sector of crop cultivation in Slovakia is characterised in the first part of thesis. The second part is focused on economic evaluation of the whole company. The financial analysis is divided into vertical, horizontal analysis and analysis of ratio indicators. The evaluation of crop production is based on the analysis of returns, costs and profits. The financial analysys shows that company is overly indepted. The operational costs and revenues shows that the cultivating of rape is lossy because of the high cost of imputs. The database of teoretical part is written on the basis of literary review.
