Celoživotní vzdělávání jako součást vzdělávacího systému společnosti / Lifelong Education as a Part of the Social System

Neckařová, Jana January 2017 (has links)
The diploma thesis discusses about education of adult population, while pointing out necessity of education in any age. This thesis explain importance of education of the adult population, mention forms and possible methods which are used in this type of education the most. Besides the theoretical outcome there is practical aspect included as well in form of questionnaires. Investigation in form of research was focused directly on employees, who as well as on employers whose employees attended the program. In summary both parties consider adulthood gained knowledge as a great benefit to employee as well as employer. In any case, people with higher level of education have better chances of getting a possible job than those with no or low level of education.

Početnost perlorodky říční (Margaritifera margaritifera) na vybrané lokalitě v jižních Čechách / Abundance of pearl mussel (Margaritifera margaritifera) in the selected locality in South Bohemia

TULACHOVÁ, Marie January 2012 (has links)
The freshwater pearl musel (Margaritifera margaritifera) is critically endangered species. Its survival depends on the abundance of host fish (Salmo trutta m. fario), on which early mussel stages parasitize. More important is to preserve suitable environment of unpolluted cold rivers with corresponding extensive management of surrounded landscape. To preserve population of pearl mussel in Czech Republic it is essential to describe environmental conditions necessary for its survival. In this study, we observed the influence of water temperature on the abundance of populations of pearl mussel and the individual quantity change after introduction of a new nutriet source. This source is represented by the nutrient stream, flowing through the adjacent grassland with the wide outfall into the river. For the monitoring, the pearl mussels were distinguished into two groups: juvenile and adults forms. The results were evaluated for the both groups separately. We found significant difference between each year, for both, juvenile and adult stage. The year 2009 was an exception, because the difference in the number of adults was not observed. We noticed substantial increase of the number of observed juvenile individuals during summer. The quantity was in direct proportion with the water temperature, but the influence of tempeature was not statistically proved.

Biologický monitoring - jeho možnosti a omezení / Human biomonitoring - opportunities and limitations

Weissová, Iveta January 2010 (has links)
Human biomonitoring is a term for colleting and evaluating data concerning the pollution of environment and its influence on human body. In the CR it is being conducted since 1994 and its main aim is to protect people's health. The most commonly observed pollutants are heavy metals, PCBs, dioxins, chlorinated pesticides and many others. These pollutants find their way to the environment mainly due to people's industrial and agricultural activities. Smoking is still a current issue that needs to be addressed and it is an activity (voluntarily or in case of passive smoking involuntarily practiced) that causes health damage. Due to human biomonitoring, or more precisely due to principles which are now its foundation, many shortcomings of former industrial activities were discovered. Among others, it leads to understanding "Itai-itai" disease and discovering the cause of events in Japanese bay "Minamata". Today, the industrial (but also other) activities worldwide are at a high level of development. Many chemicals are being used and the environment is still being threatened. Based on those facts it is necessary to continually monitor the presence of toxic (or potentially toxic) substances in the environment and to put forth an extra effort to prevent exposure to these substances. Human biomonitoring is also...

Vliv velikosti a složení skupiny na růst pulců žab / Growth ot tadpole groups - the influence of size and kinship.

SRB, Ondřej January 2011 (has links)
The aim of this study was to determine the effect of density and kinship on the rate of metamorphosis of the selected species of frogs. The work was made in Rana temporaria, common frog. Tadpoles of this species have been bred at different densities kindred subjects. The regular weekly intervals were timed tadpoles until metamorphosis. It has been shown that tadpoles reared individually developed much faster and metamorphosed at larger sizes. Contrast, tadpoles raised in unrelated groups developed much more slowly than in the group composed of related individuals.

Economic impacts of population ageing on macroeconomic aggregates / Ekonomické dopady stárnutí populace na makroekonomické agregáty

Orlická, Eliška January 2014 (has links)
This thesis examines the effect of population ageing on macroeconomic aggregates. The author´s objective is to verify, whether there exists any relationship of the population ageing factors and the GDP growth rate, social expenditures growth rate and the consumption growth rate. Econometric models are based on theoretical specifications of Faruqee´s life-cycle model and Prettner´s R&D model with overlapping generations. The degree of economic development is also taken into account. Furthermore, the author modified the R&D model by incorporation of the poverty indicator and its application on available datasets. The research is focused on five European countries in 1995 - 2013. The Ordinary Least Squares method is used to gain estimated results in regression analyses. The author managed to prove an existing relationship between the old age dependency ratio and the social expenditures in all countries except Switzerland. The impact of the population ageing factor on the consumption growth rate turned out to be significant in all of those countries. Substantial fluctuations are shown only in Bulgaria and in the Czech Republic. The GDP growth rate seems to be influenced by ageing factor in the Czech Republic and in the Ukraine alone. The research has also shown that developing countries respond more dramatically to changes in the population structure distribution, while the poverty indicator plays an important role only in the Ukraine.

Dopady populační politiky Číny / The impacts of China's population policy

Vargovčíková, Lucie January 2013 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the impacts of China's population policy. Thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first one discusses the characteristics of population policy in general, mainly the concept and definition of population policy's types and instruments and also the current practices in the world. The second chapter deals with the characteristics of population policy in China from the historical point of view. There is also a description of the registration system "hukou" and exemptions from the population policy. The second chapter also describes the impacts of China's population policy. The last chapter is devoted to the population aging with an explanation of aging in China and comparison of aging in China with aging in Japan.

Spojité matematické modely dynamiky populací / Continuous mathematical models of population dynamics

Pecka, Luboš January 2010 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to describe the most frequent models describing population dynamics and then to perform some numerical experiments in the MATLAB environment. These simulations should validate our theoretical results. The models are sorted from the basic models to the most complicated and are divided into the models which describe dynamics of one population and models of coexistence of two biological species. The master's thesis icludes also a program for drawing graphs and trajectories of solutions of models described in this thesis including a description of this MATLAB program.
