Scientific style is divided into so-called sub-styles, whose ground of dissociation – reader and its goals, i.e. one of the non linguistic factors, - is component of communication act. All features of sub-style of popularizing science are determined by the ratio between author and reader. Author is qualified specialist and the reader is not specified. The most important function of sub-style of popularizing science is to present formal information. Expressive and appellate functions are realized in conjunction with message and popularizing function.
Popularizing science texts, likewise scientific texts are dissociated on the other base, i.e. under the content of rendering information. This principle recognizes exact science, natural and art texts, which are divided according to physiques, mathematics, astronomy and other sciences. The average length of popularizing science sub-style sentence is x=12,5 words. The difference between average length of sentence of all sciences texts is not big (x=12,3 words in art science, x=13,1 words in natural science and x=12,1 words in exact science). Simple sentences dominate in texts of popularizing science sub-styles and totals 66,6 %. In consequence composite sentences makes only 33,4 %.
The distribution of sentence length groups in texts of all sciences is not even, but the same tendency is noted: the center of frequencies consists of short sentences, the second place takes very short sentences. The group of average length sentences... [to full text]

Robert Recorde (c. 1510-1557) was a pioneer in the teaching of mathematics in the English language. His attempt to popularize mathematics, in fact, was without precedent in any language. Mathematics in the 1500s was still exclusively reserved for mathematicians, and people in general had no interest in the subject. Within a hundred years after Recorde had popularized mathematics, however, this situation had changed. The scientific revolution of the seventeenth centuty occurred and mathematics became an indispensible aspect of man's knowledge. This thesis examines the background and development of Recorde's attempt to popularize mathematics and evaluates that attempt in terms of its relation to the position of science in the modern world.

The aim is to analyze Brazilian physical structure planning and expansion especially in São Paulo State. In addition, acquiring how its achievement could be possible. All things considered with the several school architectural projects from the different history period related to State educational politics.
Therefore, the assignment shows the school physical environment changes arising from the popularizing access process, starting in the 1970s decade until the 21st century beginning. Having the bibliographic research and its related documents as reference to the São Paulo State architectural project, could be possible to realize the service quality offered by the school physical structure, as though identify the educational spending use of money.
Thus, it was possible to notice the adoption of the standardized arquitectural results, and also its already existed infrastructure strengthen to the São Paulo State elementary school public physical structure impoverishment. / Este trabalho, vinculado à linha de pesquisa Instituição Educacional: Organização e Gestão do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da Universidade do Oeste Paulista, analisa o processo de universalização do acesso ao ensino fundamental e a sua relação com a produção arquitetônica escolar. Objetivou-se investigar os critérios adotados para planejamento e expansão da rede física escolar no Brasil e, em especial, no Estado de São Paulo, bem como compreender de que forma transcorreu a sua concretização. Considera-se que os diversos projetos arquitetônicos escolares relacionam-se com a política educacional do Estado materializada em cada período histórico. Sendo assim, o estudo expõe a transformação do espaço escolar a partir do processo de massificação do acesso, iniciado na década de 1970, até o início do século XXI. Com base na pesquisa bibliográfica e documental referente à analise dos projetos arquitetônicos do Estado de São Paulo, assinalou a qualidade do serviço oferecido pela rede física escolar identificando os parâmetros de racionalização de gastos públicos com a área educacional. Dessa forma, notou-se que a adoção de soluções arquitetônicas estandardizadas, assim como a potencialização do aproveitamento da infraestrutura existente cooperou para o empobrecimento e precarização da rede física escolar púbica de ensino fundamental no estado paulista.

Мы проанализировали рубрику «Мой друг – фантастика» за 1960-1970 годы, как она развивалась в 1960 – 1970-х годах; выявили и охарактеризовали жанры, которые представлены в рубрике, познакомились с ключевыми авторами; описали способы популяризации научной фантастики в журнале "Уральский следопыт". / The master's thesis «Rubric "My friend is a science fiction" in the journal "Uralskiy Sledopyt" of the 1960s and 1970s as a tool for popularizing science fiction» devoted to problem how Soviet science fiction developed, how the Uralskiy Sledopyt magazine was created and developed, which authors were published in it and how the magazine interacted with the reader. We analyzed the category "my friend is a fiction" for the years 1960-1970s, as it developed in the 1960s and 1970s. We identifed and characterized the genres that are presented in the category; got acquainted with the key authors. We described ways to popularize science fiction in the journal "Uralskiy Sledopyt".
