E-learning är en undervisningsmetodik som idag är vanlig att använda i olika utbildningssammanhang. Många företag använder sig av e-learning t ex i samband med införandet av nya processer och systemstöd för sin personal. E-learning används också i olika former och grad inom skolsektorn. Denna uppsats handlar om en undersökning jag gjort med huvudsyfte att undersöka om utbildningsdeltagare anser att e-learning är ett bra sätt att lära sig på och om de till och med anser att e-learning helt kan ersätta traditionell lärarledd undervisning. Syftet är också att prova hypotesen att det är de deltagare som ser negativt på sin tidigare skolgång som är mest positiva till e-learning. Undersökningen ger även svar på några andra parametrar kring uppfattningen om e-learning, t ex om e-learning bör genomföras på egen hand och vid egna valda tillfällen och om e-learning förutom text och bild även bör innehålla ljud i form av en ”speakerröst”.Min undersökning har övervägande positivistisk utgångspunkt. Det finns dock en hermeneutisk ”touch” då resultatet till viss del också måste tolkas och bearbetas. Metoden jag använt är kvantitativ - undersökningen har gjorts via enkät med fasta svarsalternativ. Processen jag använt är analytisk induktion och teoriproduktionens arbetssätt jag använt mig av är både deduktivt och induktivt då jag gjort en hypotesprövning, men den hypotes jag prövat inte utgår från någon befintlig teori. Analysen har gjorts med hjälp av bl a frekvenstabell, faktoranalys, korstabulering, korrelationsanalys och reliabilitetstest som utförts i SPSS version 20.Resultatet av undersökningen visar att mer än 58 % tycker att e-learning är ett utmärkt sätt att lära sig nya saker på, och nästan 66 % är positivt inställda till e-learning och 35 % anser att e-learning bara har fördelar jämfört med traditionell lärarledd undervisning. Trots detta är det bara drygt 14 % som anser att e-learning helt kan ersätta traditionell lärarledd undervisning. Undersökningen visar inget signifikant samband mellan de som är mest positiva till e-learning och de som ser negativt på sin tidigare skolgång. / E-learning is a teaching methodology that is common to day to use in various educational contexts. Many companies use e-learning, for example in connection with the introduction of new processes and systems for their staff. E-learning is also used in various forms and degrees in the school sector . This paper is about a study I did with the main objective to investigate whether training participants are of the opinion that e-learning is a great method to learn new things and if they even believe that e-learning completely can replace traditional instructor-led training. The aim is also to try the hypothesis that it is mainly those who disapprove of their former schooling that like e-learning the most. The survey also provides answers to some other parameters regarding e-learning, such as if e-learning should be done individually on own elected occasions and if e-learning in addition to text and image should also contain a speaker voice.My investigation has predominantly positivist starting point. However, there is a hermeneutic "touch" though the result in part also must be interpreted and processed. The method I used is quantitative - the survey was carried out by questionnaire with set responses. The process I used is analytic induction and the theory of production approach I have used is both deductive and inductive as I tested a hypothesis , but the hypothesis was not based on any existing theory . The analysis has been done with the help of eg frequency table , factor analysis, cross-tabulation , correlation analysis and reliabilitetstest performed in SPSS version 20.The results from the study shows that more than 58 % are of the opinion that e-learning is an excellent method to learn new things, and almost 66% are in favor of e-learning and 35 % believe that e-learning only has advantages compared to traditional instructor-led teaching. Despite this, it is only just over 14 % who believe that e-learning completely can replace traditional instructor-led training. The survey shows no significant relationship between those who are most supportive of e-learning and those who disapprove of their former schooling.
