In this master's thesis, we present a theoretically-critical analysis of the current academic thinking with regard to the differences between men and women as the lead workers in terms of specific stressors and the use of specific coping strategies. In the theoretical part, we analysed the topic of the specific requirements managers need to meet and the associated stressors. The empirical part analysed the differences in the use of coping strategies between men and women. Probands (of sample size 2105, men N = 1307, women N = 798) completed the Stress Management Questionnaire consisting of twelve coping strategies. The questionnaire distinguishes strategies aimed at resolving situations from those that protect mental well-being. Regarding the use of these twelve coping strategies, the results of the one-way MANOVA multivariate analysis revealed a significant difference (F(12,2092)=10.7, p<0.001) between men and women. A significant difference was revealed on the scale of strategies aimed at resolving situations, in which case men used these strategies significantly more than women. This Master’s thesis deals with designing a measuring device that would record driver’s movements during dynamic riding states known as localization, and based on the recorded data creating a simulation in multi-body software. The first part reviews the current state of knowledge in the field of photogrammetry, sensors, and motorcycles’ characteristics. Moreover, the second part focuses on constructing the measuring device, practical aspects of data collection, processing, and evaluation in multi-body software.

Name: Analysis of external indicators of physical activity in professional football players Objectives: Find out the amount of movement load of professional football players using selected external indicators with regard to different player positions. At the same time, the aim of the work is to determine the ratio of training load between a microcycle and a championship match Methods: The research group consisted of 19 football players from a professional football club, their movement load was analyzed in 15 championship matches and 37 training units within eight weekly training microcycles. All data on the physical activity of players was recorded using a global portable system (GPS; Catapult Sports). The Hedges g factor was used to evaluate the significance of the differences between the two group ratios. Results: In the indicator of the total distance covered (CPV) in the match, the central defenders (10 131,1 ± 1588,7 m) did not differ significantly from other game positions, except for the central midfielders, who recorded the highest values (11 495,2 ± 533,3 m). On the contrary, the lowest values were reached in CPV by players in the position of external defenders (9 629,8 ± 1 380 m). This diploma thesis is focused on research of localization algorithms. Each developed localization algorithms are generally application specific. Because of application requirements diversity, many variants of localization algorithms exist. In case of finding appropriate localization algorithm for concrete application usability, existence of real condition simulation environment is useful. Development of this simulation environment was made simultaneously with both localization algorithms. At first, survey of available localization technic was performed and their summary was listed. Further work was aimed on research of two localization algorithms. Both of them use triangulation mechanism to determine unknown node position. This mechanism is based on measurement of distance to three reference points with known position. It would seem that both algorithms are similar, but simulation shows their difference and presents their suitability for diverse conditions.

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of work-life balance in a chosen organisation. The work life balance instruments are described in detail and theoretical findings are compared with reality. The thesis identifies possibilities and barriers to work-life balance of employees of the observed company. On the basis of semistructured interview and questionnaire survey, measures for optimal work life balance are suggested.

Title: Volunteering as an allocation of human resources in sports organizations Objectives: The objective of the thesis is to recommend the most suitable Belbin roles for job positions in sports organizations based on knowledge from research and literature. Methods: The thesis uses qualitative and quantitative research. Qualitative research will take place in the form of dialogue and subsequent discussion of the Focus Group with representatives of sports organizations. 9 respondents will participate in this group discussion. Quantitative research is conducted among volunteers in sports organizations through electronic surveys and the Click4Survey tool. The Belbin test is part of the questionnaire survey. The questionnaire survey includes a sample of 305 respondents. Results: The results of qualitative research show that the positions offered to volunteers include the positions of administrative worker, assistant, supervisor, organizer and coach. The results of quantitative research show that the most represented role in volunteers, according to Belbin's typology, is the role of the Implementer. Title: Strength asymmetries of female soccer players according to playing position Objectives: The aim of this diploma thesis was to characterize the unilateral and bilateral asymmetries of knee flexors and extensors in elite football players based on player positions and to define the characteristic isokinetic strength profile for each playing positions. Methods: The research group consisted of 66 female football players who play in the highest czech league. The players completed laboratory testing under the supervision of qualified experts, which took place according to the standard conditions described in the methodological part of this study. In the case of players, we examined the strength asymmetries in the flexors and extensors of the knee and compared them between the 4 basic positions in football. Results: After summing the data from all angular velocities (60ř.s-1 , 180ř.s-1 , 300ř.s-1 ) we found that 33% of our attackers had quadriceps asymmetries above 10%, which was the most of all posts. This is followed by goalkeepers with 28% and midfielders with 25%. The lowest percentage of quadriceps asymmetries was recorded in defenders 22%. The Abstract The thesis is focused on views on the role of women in decision-making processes. Public and private sector is characterised by a low level of representation of women in decision-making positions. In connection to the directives of the European Commission, which introduce mechanisms supporting an increase the number of representatives of underrepresented sex in supervisory boards, the debate unleashed on the subject of quotas. Opinions on the effectiveness of quota mechanisms in the Czech Republic are reflected in the media space. This paper aims to describe and analyze the opinions of public discussion on the mechanisms of quotas. Through a discourse analysis of media contributions it tries to determine what arguments planes occurring in the public debate on a subject introduction of quotas. Analyzed articles are dated to the period between May 2014 and May 2015. Individual argumentative discourse planes are systematically coded by discursive rules in recurrent categories. Categories are also thematically merged into discursive planes with respect to their intertextuality and intediscursivity. The results of the analysis are then subjected to a comparison to the development of discursive anchoring the topic of quotas in the European environment.

The diploma thesis deals with the detection of measurement error based on the question order using the reaction time. The major part of the theoretical chapter deals with the respondent as the source of the error. A respondent needs to proceed through a cognitive process to answer a question. Various influences affect the process and they might have an effect on the accuracy of the answer. The frequently mentioned effects are age, education and motivation of respondent. The absence of respondents' motivation might lead to a reduction of their effort to properly proceed with the cognitive process. In that case, the respondent does not dedicate the appropriate cognitive effort and time to a question in the questionnaire. That length of time, which the respondent takes to answer, is called the reaction time and it is suggested that it might be used as an indicator of the amount of cognitive effort. Based on previously executed studies, the author designed hypotheses about the change in length of the reaction time with a change of question position in a questionnaire, about the effect of respondents' characteristics on the reaction time and its shortening. This diploma thesis is focused on strategic behaviour of e-shops from the customer's point of view. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the strategic position of companies that focus on online sales of electronics, based on their strategic behaviour from the customer's point of view. Terms of e-commerce, strategy, strategic management and online shopping behaviour are explained in the theoretical part of the thesis which is based on literature research. The practical part evaluates the factors that influence the customer when shopping online. Furthermore, selected indicators of financial analysis were evaluated. Based on the obtained results, the strategic position of selected e-shops was determined. There are recommendations for e-shops in the conclusion.
