Čistá pozice zaměstnance a podnikatele vůči veřejným rozpočtům / Net position of employee and self-employed person towards public budgets

Kvízová, Kateřina January 2016 (has links)
This master thesis is focused on the analysis of payment responsibilities and entitlements resulting from these responsibilities to benefits for employees and self-employed persons in the long term period. The main aim of this thesis is to determine the overall net position of a model employee and self-employed person towards public budgets. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical one. In the theoretical part there are analyzed tax burden of model subjects and their benefits arising from participation in the subsystems of the social security. In the beginning of the practical part there are determined assumptions of the model. Based on the assumptions a comparison of tax burden and received benefits of model subjects has been made and consequently the net position of the model subjects in the researched subsystem has been calculated. The last subchapter of practical part summarizes the total net position of model employee and self-employed person towards public budgets.

Manifestace diskursivních hierarchií ve spotřebě a jejich proměna v kontextu finanční krize / Manifestation of Discursive Hierarchies in Consumption in the Context of Financial Crisis

Šrám, Kristián January 2015 (has links)
This thesis seeks to analyze how social position is negotiated by particular consumption practices. Thesis is theoretically based upon social-constructivist claims that reality is a social construct that comprises of continuously negotiated meanings. That implies that observed phenomena, such as among others consumption and social position, are seen as constituted by the cultural and symbolic dimensions of society. Methodological basis of the thesis is qualitative research. In the context of consumer behavior research I follow the research stream of consumer culture theory. Key findings of the study are that discourses on consumption are partially determined by social position while higher classes are comparatively more reflexive in their interpretations of consumption. However, social boundaries are not strictly given which creates a space for negotiating one`s social position. That might be accomplished by reinterpretation of social position. Prominent strategies of such reinterpretations were defined by discourses of neoliberalism and egalitarism. Another option consists of transgressing the economic boundaries by utilizing cultural capital. However, in the Czech society there has not yet been developed a clear consensus on what cultural capital consists of - that creates even more potential for negotiating one`s own social position.

Vliv stylu držení volantu na dobu jízdního manévru / Influence of Steering Wheel Holding Techniques on Length of Driving Maneuver

Kašpar, David January 2021 (has links)
This master’s thesis deals with the position of the hands on the steering wheel and its impact on the driving manoeuvre time. In the theoretical part, the correct sitting position of the driver, his seat and steering wheel settings were described. Furthermore, the analysis of the initial positions of the palms on the steering wheel was carried out as well as the positions that are recommended for quiet driving on the highway. These positions were analysed in terms of the ability to turn the steering wheel and to provide a range of turning in given positions. For the experimental measurements, a questionnaire for the passenger vehicle drivers was created. The responses were evaluated to construct the most common hand positions on the steering wheel. From the selected positions, test drives were conducted to determine the required time for manoeuvring or the time required for change of hand positions on the steering wheel to perform the manoeuvre.

Eye Tracking During Interaction with a Screen / Eye Tracking During Interaction with a Screen

Pavelková, Alena January 2013 (has links)

3D monitor pomocí detekce pozice hlavy / 3D Monitor Based on Head Pose Detection

Zivčák, Jan January 2011 (has links)
With the development of posibilities of image processing, stereoscopy, prices of web cameras and power of computers an opportunity to multiply an experience with working with 3D programs showed. From the picture from webcamera an estimation of a pose of user's head can be made. According to this pose a view on 3D scene can be changed. Then, when user moves his head, he will have a feeling as if monitor was a window through which one can see the scene behind. With the system which is the result of this project it will be possible to easily and cheaply add this kind of behaviour to any 3D application.

Fenomén manažerů v kontextu českého trhu práce / The phenomenon of managers in the context of the Czech labor market

Opelík, Daniel January 2020 (has links)
Title: The phenomenon of managers in the context of the Czech labor market Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to identify differences in the scope of work of managers and workers in positions referred to as managerial. The analysis of the issue with managers in practice should provide a basis for what constitutes managerial work. Subsequent analysis of the demand for managerial work will document what is required of candidates for managerial positions. These findings should lead to the resolution of the situation regarding the phenomenon of managers in the Czech Republic. Methods: In this thesis a method of qualitative and quantitative data analysis is used. The qualitative analysis uses the technique of in-depth interview which focuses on ten selected managers from different management levels. Thereafter the issue is analysed from an academic expert point of view which helps to see the issue from a wider perspective. The quantitative data analysis is applied to research the jobs ads when entering the term "manager" to the jobs.cz server. Results: The analyzes show that the ideal qualification for a managerial position is to have a university degree, to be linguistically equipped and to have experience in leading and managing people, including some experience in the field in which the manager...

Hipokampální kódování pozic nepřístupných objektů / Hippocampal coding of positions of inaccessible objects

Hrůzová, Karolína January 2020 (has links)
The survival of the animals depends on their ability to memorize locations and to use behavioral spatial navigation strategies. The crucial structure for this type of behavior and memory is the hippocampus, by its ability to create a cognitive map. In this structure, there are specialized pyramidal cell called place cells. They respond by their complex firing pattern to specific animal's location in the environment. Even though many studies have investigated the role of hippocampal pyramidal cells in spatial navigation and object position discrimination, their function during inaccessible object position discrimination is not yet clarified. In our experiment, rats were trained in a behavioral task to discriminate between rewarded and nor- rewarded positions of object located in an inaccessible space. We investigated the role of individual hippocampal cells during this task by single neuron electrophysiology. The first aim of this study was to decide which of two configurations of objects presented on a computer screen during spatial object discrimination task rats can discriminate easily. The second aim is to show whether and how information about the position of inaccessible objects is represented in the hippocampus using single-neuron electrophysiology. We found out, that animals did not reach...

Klasické koncepty stratifikace a jejich srovnání se situací v soudobé společnosti. Subjektivní a objektivní pozice ve společenské struktuře / Classical concepts of stratification and their comparison with the situation in contemporary society. Subjective and objective position in the social structure

Rádl, Michael January 2016 (has links)
The central theme of the thesis is the current conceptualization of social classes and the issue of stratification in the Czech Republic in the period after 1989. In the first part I confront key theses of classical stratification concepts and follow their transformations in the history of exploration of the social structure. In the second part, by secondary analysis of quantitative data, I am trying to find the key factors of self- classification into social structures and to determine how this subjective self- classification correlates with objective (sociological) classification. An important part of the research is also the question of to what extent and in what sense people perceive the contemporary Czech society as a social-stratified. In the conclusion, on the basis of the results of analysis, I am trying to suggest which of the classical concepts of stratification best reflects the situation in contemporary Czech society. Key words: subjective and objective position, stratification, class, stratum, status, society, social structure
